There are things we Kenyans take for granted. The internet is reliable and the young people are so skilled it's fabulous. Nigerians are very smart. I've worked with IT gurus in Nigeria but I have no idea why the government doesn't take investment seriously. There are good roads in Nigeria in Abuja. But Nigeria will grow too.
@@euniceshalom yes I agree I traveled to Lagos Ibadan Oyo State also Niger River State abd many other states. The roads were not good taxis were old and travel by air was very scary.
I consider myself an honorary Kenyan because I lived in the country for four years in my teens😅 now I’ve been back once ever since and even having lived in other countries (some before I even lived in Kenya)- I can say Kenya definitely ranked number one for me. Don’t get me wrong- Nairobi might not compare to New York for many but for me, just WOOOOW. If I remember well, I had faster internet in Kenya than I did in South Africa. Apart from that, Kenya seemed to have a never-ending and abundant number of places to go: Malls (my favorite being The Hub in Karen), Restaurants (my favorite was the Ankole Grill) and even SKATING RINKS. Apart from that, the school I went to (Rift Valley Academy- PROUD💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾) gave me a better high school experience than I could’ve ever gotten in the US because everyone just seemed respectful and mindful but at the same time, they were a bunch of goofy and fun malakas😂 I also loved the people- my favorite were the Maasai (who I got to spend a good amount of time with since my dad was working on US aid programs in the Northern part of Kenya at the time): those guys were dope and welcoming (unless you cross a Moran- in which case, only Enkai can save you then💀) and their nyama choma topped even the best brisket I’ve had in my home, the Lone Star State. They had some of the best roads in Africa- many had some seriously breathtaking views too👍 What I liked most about the country was the costs- mahn, you don’t know how happy I was when I figured out I can buy myself some bread at $40 cents (yeah- I get it’s cheap cuz I’m a foreigner and all but still WOW)!!! And the cherry on the icing (I’m probably going to get into trouble 4 this) THE WOMEN!!!!! Oh my GOOOOOOOD, God must’ve had a hell of a hard time just designing and making Kenyan women- but the end-result was a crazy level of perfection😏🥹 Now for Nigeria…. We’ll Nigeria ain’t bad either. I mean, I had a couple of rough encounters in Lagos- I didn’t go beyond the city… and Hey, my wife’s Nigerian so there’s that😅 But honestly, all both countries need to do in order to become even better is to just tighten the noose around corruption (bloody hell does a cop ask for a bribe to let me past customs!!!??? Like tf mahn?) and they all gon’ be aight. But all said and done, My money is on Kenya because I really do dream of going back to raise my family there one day🤞🤞🤞
Bro don't come... in this world thing change... kenya is my mother land, many people are looking for greener pastures including us Kenyans.... this is not a country that you used to know... it's hell's gate now..
Thank you for this amazing vote of confidence. A former British colleague's wife was in tears when they had to move from Kenya to a posting in the US. She said Kenya was the best place in the world to raise children. She couldn't believe how her children could be at the Kenyan neighbour's house all day, happy and well fed.
I am Kenyan and it's so humbling to hear someone speak so highly of my country. Thank you Eunice for reminding us to appreciate that which we take for granted.
Big ❤️ girl, you are encouraging Kenyans to appreciate their Nation. However, Nigeria has the greatest potential of being the Giant of Africa if the Gvt pulls up the socks.
As a Kenyan I really appreciate this. We really don't notice these things it seems so normal to us. What I love about Nigeria is their food. You people don't joke with food oooh 😂 I wish to learn how to prepare it
Kenyan here. I love Naija confidence & self pride, wearing their heavy accent and flowing Agbada dressing with immense pride, without apology or letting anyone make them feel "little". It may be overbearing at times, but still better than being timid. That's something we can learn as Kenyans. Kenya can also work on police brutality, insecurity especially in the cities, and rule of law especially in traffic section. Success is bigger than just infrastructure, we need a functional social order. I also hope Kenyans don't adopt xenophobia like what I hear from South Africa. As they say, "A One A We"
Thank you for your unbiased view. This is very true especially the area of police brutality or xenophobic attitudes. On the issue of accent, am of the view that it's mutual. I observe that most Africans speak English using the rules of their native tongues. So a Kenyan speaking English within fellow Kenyas they hear no accent untill he speaks outside of a Kenyan audience. Same thing with most Africans too. Though we have Africans who have mastered the act of speaking English using English rule 😉
Kenya will never be a xenophobic country,I think we are the largest country in Africa hosting many foreigners we leave with them and see them as our brothers and sisters as one !
You have forgotten to mention the weather and constant supply of electricity...I live in Nigeria but those are the two things I miss most about my home country.
This is a very refreshing video. The thing I love most about Kenya is the peace. Unlike many African countries the soldiers are very disciplined and you will never see them unless they are moving from barracks to postings. You can travel between cities and smaller towns comfortably on road or air. The only unfortunate thing is we take it for granted and always complain.
Thank God I'm here. I'm convinced of Kenya tourism. Kenya is a place to be. Well-done. Pls make a video on how to visit Kenya. The process of travelling there.
Thanks for the compliments,we in Kenya we respect Nigerians, me as a football lover,I remember Rashid yekini playing here in Kenya JJ okocha ,adebayo ,kanu nwanko, taribo west and the good English spoken by Nigerians , bravo my fellow lovely people.
As a Kenyan I say thank u but i cant fail to mention the cultural personality of nigerians.totally beautiful .you guyz have a serious serious sense of humour.n thats untradable.i just love you guyz.the whole personality thing.
One thing I appreciate most is mpesa. As a Kenyan who lives abroad, I can send money from my mobile phone to someone's mpesa account and they get it immediately. Gone are the days when we used western union and money gram and money would get there a few days later, plus they charged a lot for the transaction.

Thanks for loving 🇰🇪,I also love your movies.
Thanks siz for appreciating our country 🇰🇪. We love 🇳🇬 too

Spot on! Free WiFi in cafes and restaurants it's part of the menu in Kenya.
Mpesa was introduced in 2007 and almost every transaction be it governmental or corporate is linked to it for ease of business. Folks nowadays don't have to visit banks or government offices.
Yass
Also free data and cheap data😂😂😍
Kenya one of d first country to start mobile 📲 money in d world since 2007 no data no apps to support d system so it ws supported by mobile operator safaricom bt mobile banking in Kenya started jn 2000
2000 wow. That's incredible 💯😳
It is not one of the first. It is the first country. Mobile money was invented in Kenya

Thanks ma'am
There are things we Kenyans take for granted. The internet is reliable and the young people are so skilled it's fabulous. Nigerians are very smart. I've worked with IT gurus in Nigeria but I have no idea why the government doesn't take investment seriously. There are good roads in Nigeria in Abuja. But Nigeria will grow too.
Lagos road are worse

Oh my GOOOOOOOD, God must’ve had a hell of a hard time just designing and making Kenyan women- but the end-result was a crazy level of perfection😏🥹
Now for Nigeria…. We’ll Nigeria ain’t bad either. I mean, I had a couple of rough encounters in Lagos- I didn’t go beyond the city… and Hey, my wife’s Nigerian so there’s that😅
But honestly, all both countries need to do in order to become even better is to just tighten the noose around corruption (bloody hell does a cop ask for a bribe to let me past customs!!!??? Like tf mahn?) and they all gon’ be aight. But all said and done, My money is on Kenya because I really do dream of going back to raise my family there one day🤞🤞🤞
Wooow! I love this.
That's great
Bro don't come... in this world thing change... kenya is my mother land, many people are looking for greener pastures including us Kenyans.... this is not a country that you used to know... it's hell's gate now..
You don't represent Kenyans talk on your behalf only. We the rest are happy.
You people don't joke with food oooh 😂 I wish to learn how to prepare it
Kenyatta University (KU), that must be Chandaria Incubation Center at the Gate.
True , that's the name
Just landed here to hear what we have.. Kenyans let's learn to appreciate what we have ohh..
Sister that's good content Big up ohhhh
KU is Kenyatta University. I am a student there😊
Our Nigerian leaders are our biggest problem.
We need good leaders that will improve this country

This is a very refreshing video. The thing I love most about Kenya is the peace. Unlike many African countries the soldiers are very disciplined and you will never see them unless they are moving from barracks to postings. You can travel between cities and smaller towns comfortably on road or air. The only unfortunate thing is we take it for granted and always complain.
Kenyan security is too notch
True but hang on.. Elections are round the corner, then you will see them in their true colors 😂
And the freedom here

One thing I appreciate most is mpesa. As a Kenyan who lives abroad, I can send money from my mobile phone to someone's mpesa account and they get it immediately. Gone are the days when we used western union and money gram and money would get there a few days later, plus they charged a lot for the transaction.
Imagine, we don't have that type in Nigeria
@@euniceshalom The mpesa works together with apps like worldremit, remitly and sendwave. You put debit card information and send to mpesa.
Isn't that amazing
@@euniceshalom flutterwave in Kenya is already being threatened to lose license due to old nigerian vice...money laundering and dishonesy ..thats why mpesa cant survive in Nigeria.
