I was in Kenya in November my first visit to east Africa en route to Zanzibar. I am Nigerian but lived in England for 28 years. I fell in love with Nairobi and its people. I told my friends I would be looking to relocate there in the near future.

Nice video you captured quite a bit. In Nairobi we have many parks not animal related. The Karura forest, the Uhuru gardens, Uhuru park, chiromo park etc. These provide the fresh air and relaxation/recreational places we need in Nairobi and were fought for by civil and environmental activists like Peace Laurette Professor Wangari Maathai. Visit them too.
Thank you so much for the info. I have visited Karura Forest, I even have a video on it on my channel. I have noted the names of the other ones you mentioned, will work towards visiting them too cos I loved the vibes at Karura Forest. Thanks again🙏🏾.
Great presentation my sister ooh! with a light touch, let me just say that this is the 'Genesis' of your stay in Kenya, when you get to ''Malachi'' you'll desire to be a Kenyan citizen.
Lovely video. Hope to visit one day. My friend visited last year and she said it was lovely. Can’t believe you forgot to mention BRT’s though as another means of transport in Lagos. Anywy lovely video.❤️
Thank you so much. Yes, it’s truly lovely here. Don’t mind me, I later realized that I forgot to mention alot of things, my bad🤦♀️. It will get better with time, thanks for watching.
expatriate life in Nairobi has been there for years, we have UN headquarters in Kenya, many NGOs embassies , and don't forget tourists in also the top foreign exchange earner!!

The transport system in kenya from matatu to riders, is highly regulated all the buses or matatu operate in a group called the Sacco, they target different customers most of the young people prefer using matatu that has music in it, but also we have matatus operated by big companies those ones have music but its not loud in fact you can ask the driver to turn it off all together in short matatu is a culture that has ben there for years.
what have I said my friend? all matatus are in saccos. is simple to understand if you own a matatu you have to join a sacco all matatus operate in saccos. I own 2 metro trans buses. I know the industry.
@@adeolaharold on your video you asked how are Kenya conductors compared to Nigerians. Kenya conductors are the most polite and humble guys in Africa transport sectare but never mess with their money because they can either beat you, throw you on a moving matatu or alight you from a very far place from where you were going
In terms of rent, it is financial system issue. In Kenya mortgage facilities are widely available hence house ownership is far wider and as such competition is wider so landlords cannot dictate rental payment. The higher the amount one pays in advance is advantageous for a landlord whereas a lower amount favours the tenant!!
Much love for Nigerian from Kenya. My next destination is Nigeria.I will like to take Yoruba traditional wine, visit a village called Ogidi in Eastern part of the Nigeria.
Greetings! Thanks for your commentary on how you see Kenya compared to Nigeria. One thing I’d mention and maybe you could touch on is the fact that Kenya has some of the best coastal life (beaches) in Africa - and the general public has unfettered access; meaning, NO ONE has to pay for access. I don’t know if the same can be said of Nigeria.
There some things you forgot about Kenya apart from Nigerian music Kenyans really love your movies and we love you guys too your our distance brothers 😊, Also you forget to mention our electricity and faster internet (everything Nigerians who comes to Kenya always say how reliable our electricity & internet is i dont know if that's the case for you 😊). On rent Kenyans pay monthly but it's not compulsory your can even pay annually if you wish(though no Kenyan would want that😊), on trees and green spaces not just Nairobi but all our cities and towns are very green (you can do your research) we built infrastructure as we plant trees in equal measures. Anyway nice content i enjoyed it
Thank you so much, I remember you requested this video and it was really an interesting one to make. I later realized that I didn’t talk about the internet and love to Naija movies and some other points, the internet is awesome by the way. Maybe much later I will do a part 2 and share my experience on them. Interesting to know you can pay rent annually but I understand why most Kenyans will prefer monthly. Thank you for always supporting🙏👍🏽.

Matatu art is called graffiti. It is drawn not a banner. It is done as the owner desire 🙏
Thank you for taking time not just talking about Kenya/Nairobi's experience but also in comparison to Lagos and Abuja, that was different. Kuddos
