  • At Spear's 500 Live, private client professionals - from wealth management, philanthropy, luxury, law and property - gathered at The Savoy to share insight, strengthen networks and hone their understanding of the forces that shape the lives of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
In a panel titled 'Where the smart money's going: The changing shape of the super-prime property market' presented in association with Sotheby's International Realty UK, leading super-prime property agents and developers said that London was witnessing a 'golden decade', with world-beating new developments, ample good stock in the market and attractive deals to be done.
They agreed that the Dubai and Saudi Arabian markets were proving increasingly attractive to British and international buyers but no matter what, 'London will always be London'.
Panellists included George Azar (chairman and CEO of Sotheby's International Realty - UK, Dubai and KSA), Nick Candy (founder of Candy Capital) and Peter Wetherell (chairman of Wetherell)

I don't think anybody would want to invest in London now considering the state that it's in now.
