So excited Season 2 is here! Thank you all for watching. My goal with this episode was to show you a different side of Jamie Dimon. Yes, there are some must-ask questions about the state of the global economy, AI, etc. but we also talked about family, childhood and how he does it all.“Sometimes I feel like I’m just riding the bronco and hanging on for dear life.” Would love to hear what you think.

Jamie Dimon's advice to his 20-year-old self is something we can all benefit from. He emphasizes the importance of working hard but also working smart. It's essential to think carefully and not waste time on tasks that won't bring you closer to your goals. He also stresses the significance of taking care of your mind, body, and spirit. When we prioritize our overall well-being, we're better equipped to handle the challenges that come our way. Dimon's words are a reminder that we can achieve all that we set our minds to, but we may not be able to do it all at once.

Honestly I didn’t like the questions that much. So much emphasis on vague, nonsense question regarding ai (“is ai and fintech gonna replace banks”, pushing on the “chat jpm”), the one liner questions on hugely complex topics. She asked atomic questions that do not incentive critical thinking and discussion. Of course she had limited time so couldn’t dedicate 20 minutes to each topic, but a part from dimon’s brilliance this was underwhelming

Dimon definitely wields the power of AI in his bank, together with a top-notch research team. He is also complacent about the 'inner war' with Apple by the way lol. I love the fact that he is greatly aware of China, its ubiquity, and the existential threat of American's wrong leadership which can lead to many ripple effects.

If they had let those banks fail, the federal government would have been on the hook for the tens of billions due to federal insuring agencies being responsible for the bad loans.

Thank you for all your efforts There is a small remark In my opinion, if only you'd tell us what hour we'll be trading Like, after the end of today's session, you tell us the hour when the session will be for the second day, and we will be ready Like (you tell us tomorrow's session will be between 11 am and 1 pm according to your country's time) Especially in my case, I work most of the time in night shifts, so I miss the morning sessions and do not attend the session, knowing that I open the group notifications

This was very insightful, and Dimon’s discussion on Bitcoin I think is largely correct, I invested in crypto some years ago but got out because everything that bitcoin, cryptos, and blockchains promise we can already do better, more quickly, and MUCH more efficiently
