Car Question the Apple Car Play that’s what I like best. I’m old school and prefer real old big knobs.

I like the fact that it's not making it impossible to drive the car yet. But i prefer buttons and knobs too

Great tutorial that is well explained and most helpful. I just bought a 2021 Legacy and I have yet to experience any lag with this 11.6 infotainment system. Also, a nice feature is that the start/stop shut off is now on the main screen. So you see it immediately when you start the car. And I do not find the stat/stop to be at all intrusive. It is not all that noticeable on my car. I think this is an awesome system and kudos to Subaru for taking this tech leap.

Bought a 2021 Legacy Touring XT and I hate that screen. Its as slow as a ten year old iPad, hard to read if the sun is shining on it and they have crammed almost every function into it buried within multiple menus. Its just too much. Its hard to notice on a 15 minute test drive
but knowing what I know now there is no way I would have bought that car.

Hi can I know it’s not a newer car review but can you do a awd review on the Mazda CX-7 Awd, if so, that’ll be soo cool 😌

I have a 2020 Subaru Legacy Premium. The 11.6 infotainment system in my has lag and when you try to disable or enable the vehicle hold or start/stop tit jumps back and forth. I am on my 2nd infotainment system. Other than that the car is great. Subaru in my opinion did a bad bad thing with this set-up. But...too late now.

I tried this infotainment system at a Subaru dealership and it's too slow. Buy a previous generation legacy or outback if you want physical buttons and knobs.

Is this a review of the 2020 or the 2019 model?

2020-2022 and going, except in the base trim with two screens on the dashboard.

Tactile. Of or connected with the sense of touch. A touch screen is not tactile

Put the volume medium high, turn off the vehicle, start it and try to lower the volume. :D On my Crosstrek 2018 I could only turn down the volume after 15-20 seconds only. Super super super annoying.

@@clou1969 is there a version without the infotainment system? I'd rather buy an aftermarket android head unit

Jonathan S I don’t know but Android Auto is also included in the Crosstrek 2018 and up.
