That blown turbo seal life tho. 😂😂😂. Sounds good. I have the catless DPs midpipes and a muffler delete and it drones a lot around 45mph and 75mph. I’m hoping this PE mod will fix my problem
Sounds good. When I get back into the bimmer game, I'm going to have a similar set up. Catless DP's without a doubt, then source out a PE muffler or go the PE mod route... Then maybe hollow/blow out the secondary's lol
Wheel & suspension specs? I’m literally wanting my car wheels too look like yours and car to sit like yours. Hell I even wish my 335 was the same color as yours :((
Sounds sick man... convinced me to go PE mod. I just ordered the Forgestar F14 SDC how do you like them? I know they require a lot of work to avoid rubbing. Are you rubbing at all?
LRRVintage thanks a lot man! I appreciate the kind words. I love the forestar f14s. I will say little to no rubbing in the front, the rear because of how low I am does rub on hard drops in the road. I rolled mine harder than most people with 335i running similar setups but I also run bigger tires. I do 265/35/19 where most people do 255/30/19. I didn’t like the smaller tire because I cracked a wheel way too easily. I haven’t shaved mine, but I might. Stick around the channel I’m going to post specs and rubbing issues with them in my next vid.
I'd want to see what your rears look like. I need new tires soon. and 235 in the front might be pushing it. you might have to sit a little higher than how mine is. DM me on IG
Hey, Ive been looking up how to do the PE mod. how do you guys weld the bottom part of the straight through pipe? or does everyone just weld as much of it as they can?
I'm thinking about doing this. I currently have catless dp...and muffler delete. I removed my sec cats today and about to have a pipe welded in place. I know straight pipe might be too loud. But I'll try it for a day or two before I attempt PE mod.
Hey Man, love the car, I’ll be doing the PE Mod next weekend and I was wondering if you could tell me how it’s done exactly. I know the mufflers are cut open and the pipes with baffles are cut out and replaced with straight pipes. Did you do the crossover pipe as well? Did you add the packing into just the one muffler or did you put some in both? Thank you and I look forward to your response
I don't understand this modification from what it looks like you just replace the perforated pipe in the muffler with straight pipe. So this is essentially a muffler delete, why not do that and save the trouble of cutting up your original muffler and taking away the possibility of changing your exhaust back to stock?
Anon_AmericanGamer it’s not as loud in the interior and doesn’t have the same amount of drone as a muffler delete. there’s also a crossover pipe internally that makes it not sound like if the car is just farting.
Leandro and OP, I had this same issue, I had old Index 7s, Index 12s fixed it. I wouldn't wait because leaky injectors can accelerate rod bearing wear :)
Rickoy Palmer honestly, not bad at all. You really only hear it at 1.5-2k rpm, but for having your car sound as dope as this it really isn’t bad at all.
UPDATE: DO NOT DO THIS LOL. I only cut out the outter pipes and put ALL the packing back in. it was FUCKING LOUD and droned like a bitch on the highway.
Ariel Oroz yeaa bro you should put intakes on your car it will sound a lot deeper i love how mine sounds like a V8 even doe its not but got the power to beat a few haha
icebruner so far I haven’t had any motor problems at all. It’s honestly rare for the n54 to break. What breaks are the components around it. So far I have only spent about $700 on maintenance parts (injectors). Mine still worked but they were leaky. This is two years into ownership and I would say it’s reliable.
icebruner coils are a small price to pay for how much more fun the 335i is. I’ve driven both and it’s a huge difference. I would consider coils as regular maintenance and not parts breaking.
At 70k miles on a n54. Biggest headache thus far was a blown charge pipe at 49k miles and oil filter housing gasket at 68k miles. All DIY so far. Its a reliable engine as long as you replace the components around the motor and seals within the proper time intervals. For example, since I crossed 70k I'll be doing Valve cover gasket and waterpump/thermostat combo with belts next.
Bro what is your wheel and tire setup i love the fitment
That paint color and wheel style is the cleanest! o.O
Whatever you used to capture that sound did an amazing job
That blown turbo seal life tho. 😂😂😂. Sounds good. I have the catless DPs midpipes and a muffler delete and it drones a lot around 45mph and 75mph. I’m hoping this PE mod will fix my problem
neighbors must hate you, haha don’t worry i know how you feel. My straight piped E46 M3 destroys ears in the morning.
Bro i died laughing when you said you used 2 step to hallow out your cats honestly thats defintly the budget way to go
Dude! This was awesome! Definitely got to support. Going to do down pipes and the PE mod soon!
Sounds good. When I get back into the bimmer game, I'm going to have a similar set up. Catless DP's without a doubt, then source out a PE muffler or go the PE mod route... Then maybe hollow/blow out the secondary's lol

Johnny Wish6one I’ll make a video with full details bro!
Ariel Oroz we are still waiting for this video! me too I want my 335 to sit like yours i love it so much
@@carshopbarber Make this video already haha
Ariel Oroz you cap... you don’t even got that car anymore. give us the offsets & tire size
What is better pe mod or just pops and bangs?
Did you have a tune on it when this video was shot?
Very bold to record this in your own neighborhood
Yo , the pop and bang it’s original whit this config or because you add mhd custom ?
Just watched this video and fell in love with your car.. new subscriber bro 👍🏽

What's the wheels specs and suspension, need this fitment in my life rn
What kind of wheels are those bro? Sick car btw!

Awesome please do make a video I subscribed. I ordered 19x9.5 and 19x11. Thinking of going et22 front and et 25 rear with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.
I'd want to see what your rears look like. I need new tires soon. and 235 in the front might be pushing it. you might have to sit a little higher than how mine is. DM me on IG
Sounds super aggressive. How bad is the highway drone or day to day driving?
TheMadPotato Little drone around 2k RPMs but no drone from 1.8k and below and no drone from 2.2k and above. it literally only drones at 2k.
Hey, Ive been looking up how to do the PE mod. how do you guys weld the bottom part of the straight through pipe? or does everyone just weld as much of it as they can?
Great sound bro. Sick
engine loves to rev by 25 degrees
I'm thinking about doing this. I currently have catless dp...and muffler delete. I removed my sec cats today and about to have a pipe welded in place. I know straight pipe might be too loud. But I'll try it for a day or two before I attempt PE mod.
cody cato straight pipe is super loud man. the drone is insane too
I figured...I'll just go PE then with bigger tips.
I just cut open one of my exhaust and only one side has the perferated pipe. :)
cody cato wait what can u explain
what wheels do you have and what size tires are you running? looks super close to rubbing
Silver Beha I’m gonna I’m gonna be doing a video on it once the weather gets better on the east coast. It’s been terrible
Your car sits so nice wit those forgestars, best stance I’ve seen wit those wheels
Dwayne Duncan thanks man! I wanted to run a meatier tire in the rear than most people. I think that sets it’s off, especially since I’m static.
Ariel Oroz I have an e92 as well, 2011. I really love the concave look to the forgestars but I see a lot of people with them so idk what to do!
Dwayne Duncan I would do a different finish. Depending on your cars color I would do brush with a dark tinted clear over it.
Ariel Oroz my cars black lmao
Dwayne Duncan it would look dope with them in brushed
Nice. What wheels are those and what's the offset? And what suspension?
B Min They're forgestar f14 sdc. I'm gonna be posting a video this week with info on how to get my fitment
The burbles after you rev are unbelievable
My brotha. Did you add the packing back? Loving the setup Pimp!
Christopher Nelson yea man I added all of it back in.
Hi Ariel, tell me what's the brand and size of wheels on youre 335i ?
Hey Man, love the car, I’ll be doing the PE Mod next weekend and I was wondering if you could tell me how it’s done exactly. Did you add the packing into just the one muffler or did you put some in both? Thank you and I look forward to your response
EVILLLGAMING yea, did all of the pipe. Most people only do the straight through, but I did all
Dope exhaust, how much for pe cost?
Bo Yin i did it myself and spent around $300
Hi there! Are those stock headlights or aftermarket?
What size tires you running?

Awesome video man!
Good stuff my dude!
i want.... what year is your 335i?
aboynamedtoni 2009 lol i just sold it
@@carshopbarber what’s your next purchase?
Aye this is a dope video bro. Much respect ✊🏾
bro how does your car beep. I cannot find anything online on how to get it to beep.
You gotta have an Bmw alarm system. If your car just flashes when you lock it or unlock it, you don’t have a security system.
What type of PE Mod do you have? I Need That On Mines. I have straight pipes but sounds nothing like this. 😂
What size wheels and drop cheers
wicked!!! awesome channel buddy! 😎👍
thanks man! your channel is dope too!
thank you sir!
If only my n54 sounded like this 😢
Is that an m3 bumper?
On a cold motor nice dude

Smer Oner it is really loud on the outside but its pretty quiet on the inside
Ariel Oroz yeaa bro you should put intakes on your car it will sound a lot deeper i love how mine sounds like a V8 even doe its not but got the power to beat a few haha
Needs a 12" resonator where the stock muffler goes then it'll sound perfect
Name song in the beginning
After party - burzy
Aye hows the reliabilty of the N54?.
icebruner so far I haven’t had any motor problems at all. It’s honestly rare for the n54 to break. What breaks are the components around it. So far I have only spent about $700 on maintenance parts (injectors). Mine still worked but they were leaky. This is two years into ownership and I would say it’s reliable.
Ariel Oroz aye thanks bro, looking into buying a 328 or 335, my friend has a 335is and his went in to limp mode twice and had the coils replaced
icebruner coils are a small price to pay for how much more fun the 335i is. I’ve driven both and it’s a huge difference. I would consider coils as regular maintenance and not parts breaking.
Ariel Oroz I had genuine spark plugs and coils BMW and I had no problems at all in last 12k miles in 16 month
At 70k miles on a n54. Biggest headache thus far was a blown charge pipe at 49k miles and oil filter housing gasket at 68k miles. All DIY so far.
