Think it's just the phone audio quality, it sounds like a n54 I can tell from hearing one in person, but the nice tones aren't captured by whatever he's recording with.

I have to say this is by far better sounding than the setup that budget bimmer had. For me this is the best sound ever in an n54 135/335i. Please make some flyby's and outside sounds. It s SICK

Did you just use a saw to cut the bumper then like a grinder wheel to get it smooth?
I need this on my B58... Drone is easy to fix we know this now. I don't get the dual exhaust thing halfway back with the B58. It's got one fat downpipe, why divorce it? dual tip muffler fine. May end up being packaging and trying to fit a 4" vs 2 2.5" might be the reason. Idk we'll see when I get it on a lift.

Because it's a single pipe. Even off the twins it would sound much better than duals. Really hated that BMW went with duals makes the car sound wack. Personally think 4" is a bit extensive and not needed and I'd just go get a 328i rear bumper so the exhaust doesn't look so out of place.
What turbo is on there? it sounds so good!

I love your car guys! It's got to be one of the sickest BMW's on the street. So I'm so sorry to say this but it needs to be said. A Fart can on the back of precision high performance work of art is just.....Wrong. I'm sorry but to see one of those big fart cans on the rear of an awesome German machine is like lipstick on a pig. It's a waste. It needs some classy beautiful tips not a big bucket of poo. It sounds great at high speeds or high revs but at lower speeds and idle it sounds like a fart can on any car. Farty. I sincerely believe a lot of the commenters on here are either just being nice or are to excited about the rest of this fantastic build to admit the truth.

What type of muffler is that and from what company?
It's a straight pipe with a small muffler with minimal sound insulation packing. There's no refinement to the sound, it's just loud. Good exhaust is designed to eliminate some frequencies, and accentuate others.
