You're about to connect 50 metres of antenna to the card and run it throughout a building filled with other electronic circuits including air-conditioners and fridges.
@@andrew2004sydney Thank you for your insight Andrew however you are missing the point. The antenna will be connected after installing the expansion card and will therefore cause no ESD risk to the card as the card is safely grounded to the chassis of the console. No matter how much fridges. However, when the card is not yet installed an ESD can easily occur and damage the electronics. You don't have to agree with me but then at least check the manual. There is a clear Caution message about this in bold.⚠
Hi Drew, thank you so much for all your time and hard work in preparing these videos for us. One task I'd like to see you cover is how to take a number of drum mics, combine them into a single stereo group for easy mixing and adding to in-ear mixes, and send that drum mix in mono to a single channel of the P16-M Ultranet (so as to only take up one of the 16 available channels on the P16). I guess you would use a "user" virtual channel to convert the stereo to mono?
Thanks @Drew! Can you please elaborate about the master clock? I have the Dante card in my Wing. Behringer's documentation is thin - at best. I want my Wing to run internal clock master as you have described. But what settings need to be applied to the Brooklyn II card? 'Preferred leader'? What about 'External Clock'? Does that setting sync the Dante network to the internal clock of the Wing? I have not used that setting and all seems to be well. But what is best practice?
Great video! I'd be interested in watching you take the Dante daughter board and install in inside the WING console. I know this is possible, and it would be nice to see how to do this so that the expansion port could still be used for something else. Thanks!
Yes, it can be done. After installing the card inside the PCI slot. You need to go into the setup and add the MOD-DANTE label. Note that you may lose remote control of the console via Wing Q.
Hi Drew, one situation: i have 2 wing, one foh and another broadcast. The wing on broadcast have the clock slave to aes50 connected to wing foh. I need to put a dante card on wing broadcast. And connect to an existing dante network. How can i do to the clock ? Because i cannot set the clock to dante card because i lost the connection with the foh wing... How can i have the wing broadcast connect with the wing foh and the network dante simultanneasly? Can you help me please? Thanks
Is it possible to use a Wing full-size as the main FOH board. Then using a Dante card, send 64 different sources into a wing compact? Then mix down for live stream from the compact?
Hi I have a question. how would I go about setting it up? for example I have 50 xlr inputs coming from the stage. how would I connect the xlr to the dante network? do I connect the Behringer digital stage box to the aes50 port? and also how do I route it? sorry for the complicated question.
Good evening my friends, I am connecting the Mac directly to the Behringer wing table, it is not being recognized on the Dante controller, I checked the cable, everything is ok. Can anyone help me why it is not being recognized in DANTE CONTROLLER?
On the Behringer website it states that the MADI expansion card is available for the Wing, but I cannot find it anywhere online, can you confirm whether a MADI expansion card is available for the Wing? It would be really disappointing if Behringer has a MADI expansion for the X32 but not for the Wing. Thanks.
Nice Video's always brought me through every Behringer drama Question? When Dante is connected its 64x64 but the wings has 48 stereo channels so how will you be able to handle let's say channel 49 through 64 and how does the wing see this? I know like on the x32 channel 33 through 40 is like aux in with limited processing
Hi, Drew. Do you have any future plans to create a Channel Presets Library for the Behringer Wing? I would be really interested in purchasing that to use for my team.
hey Drew, I'm looking forward to you making a video about installing the Dante card in the internal slot. We did that at our church, however I found very little and inconclusive info on how to do it. And even though the Dante card is working as an internal module, we have it greyed out in the routing section. :)) How to make the console recognise the module "officially"?
@@3DSa5ha you don't need to extract the card to have remote control available. Just set the Dante module to "independent" so that the Wing has two networks: one for dante, one for remote control

I tried all the buffer settings And from DVC tried all the settings like 4 ms 6 ms and 10 latency also but thr problem remains same only all the cabel are correct using m1 mac mini ethernet port . For broadcast mixing im using Studio one DAW. How can i fix this issue
@@arjunsaroj14 Have you tried to check your Master clock, which device is the master? When we had Pop and click issues it was because we had the wrong device as the master clock. We have a very odd configuration and when we started adding devices something got misconfigured. We did a whole service with annoying popping and clicking until we figured out the issue.
I believe the Dante card can be installed in a slot inside the Wing, allowing you to keep the existing expansion card. Is this right? Long live the Chicken Wing!
Great Video Drew! I’m always going to ask to do a series on the SQ line 😊
Great video. I would suggest ESD safe working by wearing an ESD wristband connected to ground.
