Hands down the best Dino horror out right now, The attention to detail, a realistic plot that does not revolve around cheap supernatural scares, and the wonderfully done custom model work all combined make for a very wonderful series. I Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
This one is actually the best one I have ever seen. It isn't cheesy in any way with the robotic voices or stupid messages and straight up just having the VHS glitch for no apperant reason, instead it uses detailed story to explain what happens. The found footage is awesome. Not only are the graphics stunning, but the way the camera is held and the way light displays is so good, which is comparable with some other really good found footage videos like Spectre's Paranormal Investigation. This one feels real, and the amount of work put into this. Instead of importing a scene from a movie and putting filters on top of it or using photos as background, you create and make every scene with CGI, and it's really good quality! Keep it up. But the best part, you treat the dinosaurs like monsters, as they should be treated in VHS videos. Slowly stalking you, and then appearing out of nowhere with their white eyes to chase after you. 8:26 The way the lights slowly start to light up as the legs of a dinosaur is revealed at the distance is TERRIFYING. Nothing compares to your work on this one. Keep up!
Maybe Sonora's a mommy: that could explain her uncharacteristic aggression: her thoughts predominantly are to drive any possible threats away from any children she's yet to meet of her own that're still unborn babies in their eggs; that'd do it alright for her motives for aggressive conduct- wild animal, trying to defend her children, new mommy; that kind of thing does make female animals aggressive.
@@adalfyre7937 *That* could do it, and it might explain the behavior of the animal: as it appears that this predatory animal is out to clense the land in the region from anything that could do harm to the animal's babies; so this's *nesting* behavior at that... something downright parental in conduct- just about the only logical explaination of the creature's conduct.
@@chissstardestroyer Assuming there are multiple, it could be possible, but considering there was no mention of any other Carnos in the padock, safe to assume she was not breeding....buuuuut there is another thought. Due to gender shifting of the dinosaurs, it is possible Sonora shifted from female to male, causing them to become much more aggressive over their territory while also forcing them into a rut that kept them aggravated. Another possibility if we go off of the novels a bit is that their padock was being breached by either compies or raptors, as there was a excessive amount of both breeding in the novels and using the tunnels for all the internals of the park for travel and breaching the other areas, so Sonora might of been sent into a aggressive state, noticing her territory was being invaded by other predators, and because she is not as large as the Rexes she would not be as much of a threat to them. Last bit, genetic abnormality. In the novels, specifically lost world, there is a pair of them which possess the ability to camouflage. It is possible that Sonora possesses the same genetics BUT due to a issue they are not capable of blending in while also still suffering from the same issue they had with light, also increasing their anxiety in the process as they know they should be able to blend into the background but they are able to notice they are not blending in.
@@funkmantim2661 That'd do it, but also we know from the novels that there were at least a small pack of Carnotaurus on that island; and those animals clearly did have the ability to change their skin color and texture.
@@chissstardestroyer That is what I was referencing in the last theory. While it was confirmed that there was a Carno pack on Isla Sorna, there was never a mention of it on Isla Nublar. What was likely was that around the time period of the novel/movie, there was integration of a new Carno enclosure but their aggression was too much of a problem, so by the time of the novel/movie it was not added to the park tour. Meanwhile, back on Isla Sorna, they would be working to weed up the issues with the Carno genetics, probably leading to the introduction of either cuttlefish DNA (what gives it the changing ability) or just outright more of the DNA. This would also explain why they needed to move her at all. If they were on Isla Sorna there would not be any real reason to relocate them since they are already at the main production island, but if they were on Isla Nublar, where the Park itself is, then it would be required to move them back to Sorna for testing, especially since the Park was built more like a Zoo rather than a lab, with the most expert field member being Harding, who for all intents and purposes is just a vet, not meant to cut open any dinosaurs to figure out what goes wrong.
You have returned and you're still far and away the best JP horror channel. Great plot and major, major props for using the Ingen Isla Sorna variant of carnotaurus from the ps1 lost world game instead of the JW Masrani Carno. It really shows your knowledge of the lore and dedication. Can't wait for more!
Ok definitely this is the best, and a really good analog horror video, it's not a copy of mandela catalogue, it use actual models and not only pngs, it understands how to create create tension and vhs effect is well done.
This is fantastic. The limited use of 3d models works extremely well and the story you put together is on-point. Jurassic Park (and arguably The Lost World) largely center around the consequences that come with thinking you can control a situation with dinosaurs. This _perfectly_ captures that vibe. It feels like canon.
i like this, this one is one of the best ones out there. i love how you can barely see anything sometimes and all you hear are a bunch of sounds, and you don't know who or what is making those sounds. it adds the horror level a lot and it's a nice way to set the stage for what is to come.
Think about it: you don't if you're a natural predator: drive the heads of edible game out of your hunting grounds; no, you drive them *into* your hunting grounds; but if she's trying to protect her *babies*, the whole dynamic changes drastically into "clear the land for the next generation" being a summary of her and her husband's primary motive for their conduct: akin to human parents preparing for what we humans call "the three-foot flood" of a new baby.
The fact the employees really tried to help her is honestly sad. Her and the employee are dead now(if they ended up getting her in the end) and it makes me think that she and the employees hang out as ghosts
Mind you, John Hammond runs Ingen; and he owns the animals; so if I were the employee: I'd try to contact him and get the story "straight from the horses's mouth" so to speak, as in asking him, and I quote "Are you *sure* you want this done with your specimen, Sir? I can do it, but I want to see if thats what *you* want prior to messing around with *your* animal exhibits, and I will not act until I hear back *from you yourself*, Sir." or something along those lines; better even to be fired than to vandalize the boss's assets, or anybody's at that. And nobody would enter the paddock until I get his "okay" on the issue, or he recinds the order himself- but if it is to be done: it'd be a sniper-shot from a helocopter for safety's sake, on the precise animal; lest either the wrong target die, or some human die; especially when completely unnecessary.
Not very smart of byosin to put their names on equipement meant for industrial spies... and outright evil for them to use comic sans in their letters. That being said, great work! I like where you are going with this series
Maybe I'm just jaded to analog horror or something, but the dinosaur ones always make me laugh and I literally can't tell you why because it still sends chills down my spine every once in a while.
People usually use them like a generic monster rather than an unexpectedly intelligent animal. If they don't follow actual rules it's just kinda goofy.
Man, what great about this, not just the 90s style tech from the first film, but also the corporate genetic sabotage, which is what caused the first disaster. Good stuff, true to form.
So that Guy wanted easy money, goes in a Dino Fence with a Syringe, in the middle of the night, to take a sample, only to find out that the Carnotaurus is not so sedated enough and goes after him for a midnight snack. (insert Dumb ways to die Song here)😉
I really wanna see a prequel series set before The Lost World! Imagine it the workers are still making the dinos and they get word of a Catagory 5 Hurricane on the way to Sorna. And the plot focuses on the workers evacuating over the course of the episodes. Madness ensues as the storm gets closer the dinos sense it and some go nuts as Tricertops and Raptors and The Rexes are banging against thier cages slowly breaking them over time. One of the workers our main character who would be a female lead would be studying the dinos and how they behave during bad weather. Unfortanetlly for her that was a very bad idea to stay on Sorna as the hurricane gets closer by the hour and its a ace against time for her studies and her life.
I liked this one as it had a short story behind it that was plausable. And it didn't have a jump scare. A giant carnivor chasing you is scary enough without cheap effects.
Seeing how hyper aggressive the carno is, it definitely considers the workers intruding into its territory I think it’s protecting its eggs. At 1:38 it says Sonora Crtsas-002 implying she’s the second one. I believe it had the sex change to male and mated with a female one and it laid eggs. OK so I'm kinda late to the party on praising this thing, so I wasn't going to bother. But one detail was bugging me until I realized it was fan theory material. That syringe with the Biosyn label makes no sense if this is a Biosyn operation. Why would you give an enemy employee something that could incriminate you, even if you think they'll get the sample you want for you? It makes a bit more sense if there's some third company involved that just wants this to look like Biosyn's dirty work. Maybe I missed something that disproves this idea, or maybe the creator just wanted to reference Biosyn, logic be damned. Either way, this might be a neat detail to speculate on.

Man, I'd love it if they'd take a break from Jurassic World and make a big budget analog horror style movie
that carno roar is from the isle hehe
Carnotaurus still didn’t poop in his box yet
Dam that much noise to change in the CDs 😂😂
Awesome
U should do a VHS tape with the abandoned Village from the second jp movie btw i quite enjoy ur videos since not many ppl actually do jp tapes and even the ones that do, they dont have animated dinosaurs like that one trex in San Diego vhs
More scary than the trilogy of JW
Totally the best analog horrors to come than those kids shows
You mean to tell me that a guy went out with a camera film some footage and then press it into a VHS tape in the wild before he was attacked
naughty carno
Sounds like sonora was either in heat or had babies, would explain the aggression and restlessness. That guy was also a massive idiot, he knew the thing wasnt sedated and still went in🤦
Oh I recognize that roar anywhere. Thats the roar from 'The Isle' Carnotaurus
Fabulous! There's more! This is Jurassic Park, not "save the animals"
2-CB, eh? Yes I’ll take a handful
lol the isle carnotaur scream
Well done 👍😊😃
that isle noise oohrah

i bite my hand from the fear. my finger has teeth marks.
the raor at the start i was like is that the carno roar from the isle?
then carno padock appeared and i was like correct dino!
were did the roar originat?
OK so I'm kinda late to the party on praising this thing, so I wasn't going to bother. But one detail was bugging me until I realized it was fan theory material. That syringe with the Biosyn label makes no sense if this is a Biosyn operation. Why would you give an enemy employee something that could incriminate you, even if you think they'll get the sample you want for you? It makes a bit more sense if there's some third company involved that just wants this to look like Biosyn's dirty work. Maybe I missed something that disproves this idea, or maybe the creator just wanted to reference Biosyn, logic be damned. Either way, this might be a neat detail to speculate on.
bro i fuckin love this, keep it up :D
