Why in the hell did it take me 60 years to suddenly realize Country music is the greatest. 50 years of my playing a guitar in rock bands and now all I wanna do is play in a country band!!!!! And I will. !!!!
I dedicate this great song to my sweet Late Ex-wife Phyllis from when we separated & got back together in 1979. We'd married in 1977 at only 16. We had rocky times being so young!!!
This song in memory of Buck, he dead March 25, 2006 - (For me, this live recording is very nice, great, in the "real country music spirit". - Where on lead electric guitar (not show) ?)
This one sounds a lot like "Don't bogart me" from Fraternity of Man, 1969, on Easy Rider soundtrack also. Other way around I guess since Buck was first.
Doyle Curtsinger was 2nd only to Don Rich!! With anyone else, his harmony would have been 1st! Just couldn't beat Don but then again.....who was trying!!?
Agree 100% Denzell. I had been wondering the same thing as the one with Don Rich is harder to find on youtube. Maybe the old copyright deal. But I was thinking the EXACT same thing to myself right before I saw your comment.
Doyle Curtsinger(bass) was Buck's right hand man for a long time i think he more or less took over for Don Rich after Buck lost Don, Doyle was great also
True... i remember trying to sneek into like.. the Louis Talley club along Edison Hwy.. to hear Buck and the original band when i was in high school.. they just had a certain magic..that no one seems to have .. even those that try to copy him from nashville...

One of the greats, he did so much for Country music and his community. He was one of my hero's for sure!
Recently adopted two dogs ale and female siblings rescued. Had two take them both, their “TOGETHER AGAIN”. Perfect

When country music was REAL country music....Not the garbage today!

Buck has to feel the loss of Don every time he sings this.
Yes.
Dwight Yoakum got Buck back out after Don died, they were great friends.
Don's harmony was incomperable, he and Buck's voices blended perfectly! Phenomenal picker too!! 💙

I feel bad for Buck he lost a good friend.
But who the hell puts his great friend behind, (in the background, not this video) him when he sings. Total Ego Blowout. I'd never do that
Doyle Curtsinger singing harmony and playing bass
Thanks, he did a GREAT job!!!
@@brasspick he was Buck's Right hand ,man for a long time, i think he sort of took Don Rich's spot after Buck lost him

All true. Nice guy.
This song is best interpreted as a duet by Filipino singers Nora Aunor & Tirso Cruz lll. Check it out!
