I came back to compare i like tims better however this is impressive. I had no idea they could play that many instraments. Much respect.👏👏👏

Now the sunk cost has set in, and the leftist media has completely shunned him, so he has no where else to go now.
He was a goony skater boy before he got political. I can't see him as anything other than that Sanders supporting soycialist, even if he hits all the conservative "talking points" now.
Why is this actually good? I did not expect either of these men to have this level of musical ability. Both great, just not people you’d expect to be this good at singing
Michael is actually a pretty versatile musician. Ben once said he was the Andy Bernard of the DW offices. It fits.

I love how much each of the costumed sections in the video represent the music world so well - Beatles stuff, an outfit straight from Elton John, the sleeves outfits that look like the Mamas and the Papas, the set that looks like Queen from "Bohemian Rhapsody", it's just so brilliant. And I can't even imagine trying to record all that stuff and do all the overdubbing - it's immense.
This does look and sound like straight out of the 60'2 and 70's music. They really did a good job.

As a musician I highly appreciate all of the work they put into this. It must have taken months of work to pull off this video. All while running a multimedia brand, multiple podcasts, a movie production company, declaring war with Harry's, etc... These guys work their asses off.
And have fun working them off. 😁
they literally did this in under a week..its wild. the turtles refused to give them the rights to sing their song so they had to put this together last minute for the show. super impressive. they literally finished the video for the backdrop 4 hours before the show haha. its even more impressive when you know the truth! pulled it off nicely!

He just told the story on Timcast, they tried getting the rights to cover a song and wrote this and threw it together in under a week.

I've heard the chorus of this song on Michael's show but never knew what it was or the back story until he talked about Tim's cover. The DW is so innovative. If they can't get what they want, they'll make it themselves, hence this song. Brilliant, gents, brilliant.

As a musician, you actually have to appreciate the homage they are paying and the formula they are following. Additionally, the performance is actually not that bad….they actually stayed on key, which is a rarity, these days.
Yeah I didn’t know Mike Knowles was a guitarist-pretty good stuff. I play a little guitar-piano and accordion but am too chicken to get up in front of any one. I give huge kudos to any person that can.

Man, I havn't heard this song for at least 45 years. So glad that modern technology keeps these classics available at our fingertips. Every generation needs to have a chance to hear this song.

I think the backing singers deserve a lot more credit than they get. The cast of dozens of backers adds a lot of depth and character to the song.
Smokey Mike and the God-King look a lot like Michael Knowles and Jeremy Boering from the Daily Wire. I wonder if I'm the first to see this! Wow!

I don't see the resemblance. Smokey the King are both wearing sunglasses and comb their hair differently than Knowles and Boring. Obviously these are different people. Plus Boring was probably a child and Knowles wasn't born when their first single was released.
These guys are incredible. Pushing cultural discourse forward and correcting course on important political/cultural issues, but also able to rock out, have fun, and laugh at themselves

Wow, I did not expect to have this song stuck in my head. Very catchy. Jeremy's voice with that hook leads it. Keeps you wanting more. Minus the hokey stuff in the background, Michael has strong stage presence.

The Beatles were going to be a six man band, but these 2 got kicked out. Then they joined The Beach Boys, but you only heard their voices because The Beach Boys already had 43 members in the band. Smokey Mike finally broke off and did his own thing, but never went very far until he got with The God King in '68. I'm just glad this escaped the archives, and that The God King can still remember '65 after all the iced tea going around back then. Talk about taking the Lipton plunge! But seriously...this is genius.
