Hi Guys Welcome to my channel!! I am wife, mom and grandmother! Seems like as my kids are getting older life gets a little more hectic around here. From trying to keep to my daily schedule, planning the kids extracurricular activities, chores, errands...OH MY.. and having dinner ready on the table!
I am a stay a housewife and working mom who loves cooking, baking, planning videos, grocery shopping, meal planning and shopping..basically anything that will help my daily life a breeze! Although, my videos will not always be the same , it shows how my life can be crazy busy! From time to time I will throw in a fun vlog!
Also, as a stay at home mom I believe that no matter how busy life gets we should always makes time for the simple pleasures! :)

Looks great! I suggest superheating your pan and doing the meat in small batches, even dry the meat with a paper towel first then the meat will sear and brown adding a new depth of flavor and you won’t get any liquid you have to evaporate. When you put in all the meat at once it cools the pan and causes the meat to stew not fry. Try a Dutch oven too, you might be able to fry more meat that way and the pan can handle the quantity. I’m going to try your recipe this week.
Mini Iron, I endorse your ideas. Better not to lose those meat juices.

The secret to great carne quisada is to toast the flour to almost the point of burning it. Then add the water, it makes a hugh difference. Great video!

We have a local restaurant , Amarillo Texas called La Frontera, that sells a 3 burrito dinner with rice & beans and the stuffing is Carne Guisada. They put melted cheddar cheese on top of the burritos and will add gravy on top too if you ask for it. They are so delicious and I am so addicted to them that I am here learning to make Carne Guisada so that I may make my own incredible burritos. Thank you so much for this.

Yes I’m so sorry I did get your ingredients and made the carne guisada. My family loved it. It’s the closest recipe I’ve found to match that of a favorite resturant around here that closedown. I’m sorry it was another Chanel that didn’t give the ingredients. Yours was the third recipe I had found and I I’m happy to announce that my search is over and this is what I’m staying with. It's funny because up here they don't know what that is,and I've even asked alot of Mexican people from Mexico and they don't neither, everyone always says do you mean carne asada? Lol

How long do you let it simmer for? Also, does the chili pepper make it spicy? I ate this at a restaurant before that closed and I’ve been searching for this recipe for so long but didn’t know what it was called and no one knew what I was talking about🤣 but don’t remember it being spicy.
i simmer for 45 minutes (the longer you simmer the more tender the meat will be) i dont think the way i make it is spicy! its perfect. you can add more heat. 😊

vegetable oil, butter-need an oil to fry the meat. Hope this helps.
What kind of flour did you use?
all purpose
I cooked it that way before and it turned out to be chewy so how do you get your meat to be so tender
Simmer it on low until desired tenderness. Hope this works!

Hi! 😊 Yes I did say in the beginning of the video when I’m going over all the ingredients. 😊
Now lets grab the flour with hand and sprinkle like bae for effect... gotta get your hands messy so your wife/husband get turned up by watching u get dirty and cook... Do Not pour flour with just the plate or else you don't look like a chef....
Then proceed to make the best Carne Guisada and get tons of love 😉 after you cook....
Seriously this dish got me points with the wife 1st time making it 🙂
