Constructive criticism. I don't really understand his complaint/argument at the 10:20 - 10:40 mark. CDs (not DVDs, and yes the discs shown are CDs) can only hold up to 700MB each, which means 4 CDs can only hold a maximum of 2.73GB of data. So, to me, a 2.53GB game taking up 4 CDs makes absolute sense. Maybe he's complaining about the lack of compression on the install files versus the game files but I've encountered several games with very little to no compression at all. If True Review is reading this I would be interested to hear your take on this.
Hi mklashnikov1947. Thanks for the comment. While I am aware that only some CDs can hold up to 700MB, they tend to be the CDs that are used at home such as re-writable CDs. A lot of these types were indeed used for video games, though the technology for CDs with more space had been introduced in the years before. For example, Unreal Tournament 2003 has 3 CDs but the next installment only has 1 despite being twice as big in content, as this game came out the same year as Leisure Suit Larry. With some massive games it's understandable such as Rome: Total War needing 3 discs, but Leisure Suit Larry is actually a small game, so 4 discs to me doesn't make any sense at all. It is possible that the developers didn't compress the game, which to me suggests that they couldn't be bothered. I hope this has helped and if you need to know anything else then don't hesitate to ask :)

I can agree with it being some right buggery that you are insta detected when you fire in SE;V2, but it is possible to mask your shots with ambient sound
You make a valid point about Sniper Elite, since I've been in that type of situation many times when I played it. Either way, I still found it enjoyable.
He's wrong about CM, when he says the character dies in the movie I believe he is referring to Micheal Biehn's character. His character does NOT die in the movie Aliens (the second one) and CM takes place right after it. While he does die in the third, CM retcons it as he survives the crash (btw the third one was the worst in the series, second was best). The only other character he can be referring to is Bishop the android but he doesn't die either he just gets ripped apart but is still functional.
I thought "Don't shoot the puppy" was amazing. And I beat it. Took me, like 10 tries, but I beat it. Some really tricky levels. Also, re the bus simulator game... That's kind of the point of simulators. They're not really usually "games" as such. It was just that the "Sim" series (Sim City, Sim Tower, Sim Ant, etc culminating in "The Sims") sort of blurs that line between sim and game (and many sports games simulate a GAME) so I can see why people are confused about it. That bus thing is just a pure sim.
I agree with you on Sniper V2 , I personally enjoyed the game but the AI is far too aware. You get spotted or bust one shot at the wrong time and all the Nazis know where you are no matter if you are not in their visible sight or move to a new location. Overall fun game but that is the major criticism of the game.
You should probably slap a part 1 in the title mate :) I value Desciple's opinion highly, but I've witnessed the power of Hawkeye-clone bad guys in sniping games before - Ghost Warrior had them out sniping you with pistols and AKs!

I can see people not enjoying SE Elite, but I actually like it because it's not easy. Everything I've read about snipers involve difficulty in staying hidden, and moving in the right area, long reload times, and slow movement... yeah it goes against game design and theory, and I think the game isn't the best (because of those issues), but it's not the worst sniper game I played, and while I think the controls can be TOO clunky at times, other times, they feel right on for what I've heard described. So, yeah, I can see why you dislike it. It has problems, but I personally think it has some saving grace to it.

about WWF Wrestlemania 2000, its not submission, its pinning. you dont need to push your opponent into submission, just pinning is another way. which is what is in the game.

While I thoroughly enjoyed Sniper Elite V2, I have to agree with him about the enemies. Somehow they know your exact location if your shot isn't perfectly concealed. On top of that, somehow non-high-precision guns (meaning anything other than sniper rifles) have the accuracy and distance to hit you from about 250 feet away in the game, and that's talking about guns from World War II (almost all of the sub-machine guns from that era are nowhere near that accurate in reality, especially when aiming at a prone sniper). Other than that, the game was pretty damn good.

If you still haven't played Box Office Bust, don't bother. It's one of the most boring games out there. Nearly no redeeming qualities or interesting ideas, next to nothing interesting to offer players. Or, at least, that's how IGN puts it.
Sniper Elite V3 is great imo; and the problem you mention in this vid is solved ;) The enemy start looking for you at the first shot, and then IF they spot you, the alert moves up a level...also you are very able to relocate, and it is an integral part of winning the game (props to Rebellion!)
