I've been using the Sisley concealer for years. It's expensive but keep in mind that: a- you get plenty of product and you need the tiniest amount. b - this doubles as a corrector. One tube lasts me for about 3 years and I use it daily. Definitely worth the investment. No other concealer comes close!
Totally agree. Like better made clothes that are cheaper on a "cost per wear" basis though up front costs can be higher, I have been amazed at not only how little of the better product I need to use but also its effectiveness meaning I don't have a shelf full of alternates etc.
I am so glad you picked Sisley eyeshadow #2 Copper. You look so beautiful! It makes your eyes pop! I use the Sisley concealer. It works well on my mature skin. Yes if you are young you do not need to spend a lot on a concealer. I wanted to share with you my dermatologist recommended that I layer a hyaluronic acid product between moisturizer for best results to minimize lines and it works. He said moisturize your skin, then add a simple hyaluronic acid product, then add another light layer of moisturizer on top. Then add concealer. This works everywhere ( eyes; face, hands feet body). The lines almost disappear and make up looks wonderful. He said hyaluronic acid absorbs moisture so if you do not moisturize your skin properly, it can feel drying. The effect last most of the day.
Sisley costs me a fortune but it is my absolute favourite - for mature skin. The Ecological Compound Emulsion is everything. (scent and viscosity is so light)
Hi Angela! The Sisley eyeshadow is beautiful on you. The Sisley concealer is my absolute favorite. I also love the foundation. I have been using Sisley for decades - makeup and skin care as well as Sisley’s Eau du Soir EDP, a very elegant fragrance, which always elicits many compliments from men (I don’t know) every time I wear it (and one of 2 fragrances I was able to wear when I was pregnant). Glad to hear that your beau is getting better.
So happy that you like your new Sisley products. Sisley is the only under eye concealer that I’ve used for the last year. It’s not irritating, doesn’t crease and blends beautifully. I apply only three dots under my eye, use that splendid brush to distribute it and pat it in with my finger. The metal applicator is very cooling, but I find that I have less control over where the product goes. Equally wonderful is the liquid eyeshadow, which looks wonderful on you. I dot it in the center, quite close to the lash line, then use my finger to distribute. If I need more, I’ll add some more. I also enjoy the Sisley bronzer, which is one of my favorites. Your finished look is perfectly lovely! By the way, the Sisley cushion foundation is absolutely the best I’ve ever used.

Your skin is beautiful and you look great even without makeup. I have approximately 6-7 concealers and didn’t like any of them except Kosas (which doesn’t give me enough coverage). I finally broke down and bought the Sisley! I LOVE 💕 it! It doesn’t settle or crease under my eyes and as you mentioned, it actually smooths my under eyes. It is the only concealer I’ll ever wear. I also use the Sisley foundation you used, along with the Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting foundation. Take care 🦋

I love Sisley and a very little does an awful lot for me. 2 quick tips: Foundation: any place it might settle I use a lot less - essentially a very light touch with the brush as I put the foundation on, compared to the rest of my face; Second I only use the Sisley brush for the inner corner of my eyes where the skin does not move at all. I use a very slim lip brush and place the concealer in the lines proper - then tap in. Finally as with the foundation I go very very lightly with any setting powder (used very rarely mostly for evenings) under the eyes etc. My other favorite brand is of course Chanel. The eyeshadow is lovely on you

I am a longtime watcher but I have never commented before. I use the Sisley and don’t set it (usually). I have hereditary dark circles (tear trough as well, although corrected with restylane) and it does cover nicely without being too bad in lines. I’d love to try the Chanel but am afraid of making a poor investment :-)

I hated this concealer at first. I had my reasons, but I kept giving it a chance and now I have to admit it really doesn't settle into any lines. My favourite two mascaras are MAC and Elizabeth Arden. I use MAC when I want a lot of volume and Arden when I just want a bit of length on a natural make up day look.
I have no2 of the concealer and I just love how it acts both as a color corrector and a concealer at the same time for me👌🏻I love the finish of that foundation as well but I need a better color match unfortunately 😬 mine looks a bit too peachy
Hello Dora, Yes, the colors of this foundation are not the best. I had buy a second bottle to get a better match. I like to apply a thin layer and somehow it blends well into my skin in the summer (probably because I get a bit of tan). Thank you so much for watching! @@Frenchforaday I totally agree with you on the concealer (on the foundation as well), a little goes a long way and though initially pricey, it’s good for 12 months and has much more product in it than a regular concealer and us 35+ gals do need help just like you said 😄😘
I use the Sicily concealer and really like it. Also you may want to try Georgio Armani concealer its also very good. I may try the Sicily foundation you used, I like the feeling of not wearing foundation.
Sisley concealer is the only one concealer I use under my eyes. I am 49 and my under eye area is very dry which demands a rich cream and suitable concealer, and Sisley is the only one that works for me, others are too drying. And this is my go to foundation in summer months. The odd thing is that even though my skin is quite oily and I live in hot humid climate, I can use it only in summer, when there is a humidity, otherwise it's too drying. Another thing which puzzles me: how it is possible that you, Angela, wear shade 1 and I wear 0+...And I am not as pale as you...
Thank you for noticing Ella, I made a mistake with the shade name. I think it must be the linking platform that use. It pulled out the wrong shade. I wear 0 Porcelaine Tres Claire which right now is a little pale on my skin because I have a bit of color. I corrected the description. xoxo

Hi Jess, My Sisley concealer is now too old and I decluttered it but I will repurchase for sure. I love it. It's one of the best concealers that I have used. I don't like the packaging of Chanel Sublimage concealer but it's a very good concealer for dry skin. Sisley's foundation has natural finish. It is comparable to the old version of Chanel les beiges foundation that was changed a few years ago. I currently can't think of another foundation that is similar to this one. If you have dry skin, it may not be the best option for the winter time. xoxo

Hi Kara ❤️ Both are gorgeous concealers and in terms of coverage they are similar. Both cover dark circles well and they don't crease. The downside of Chanel's foundation is that it has a jar packaging. Sisley has a peachy color so it covers dark circles better in my opinion. Also I really love the brush of the Sisley concealer.
