Grace I love that you do in depth wear tests with products and can present reasons for preferring these concealers. This is much more important to me than simply moving on to the next new thing and never revisiting the performance of a product over time. Thank you. Edit: I’m 61 so I find that I can use the Real Skin for all concealing except for my under eye.
Hi Grace! I use many different concealers as well! What brush did you use to apply your Cle de Peau concealer. It seems to cover a larger area than a typical concealer brush, which is what I need since I use it to cover quite a bit of melasma. Thank you for your comprehensive reviews!!
I have always wanted to ask but I just assumed you try so many different products you’ve found the ones that work for you! I purchased the cle de peau concealer after watching several of your videos. I do skincare treatments all day and my face is in steam several times throughout the day so I typically just wear tinted spf and concealer. Every concealer I’ve tried until now has come off. I am so happy I picked this one up!! It does NOT move!! Wish I had tried it sooner!! Thank you! 😘
hello grace, thank you for this superb video, you know how to make your complexion perfectly and I find that it is the most important. i love your makeup
I really love and appreciate your concealers tips and tricks! I've got some darkness in the inner and outer corners too, I will try these tips with what I have and see what it does! Thank you!!
This was such an informative video. It also reminded me that the Chantecaille Perfect Blur Finishing Powder has been on my "need to get" list for a while now. I also use the Cle de Peau concealer stick. I put it on my sun spots, which I find are almost impossible to hide without looking like I have thick makeup on my face, and it does the best job of any concealer I've tried. Agree that a little goes a long way with that product.
Love everything you applied. How do I pick the right shade for the clé de Peau concealer? I wear medium of the water fresh tint of Chanel. Could you swatch the three shades of the concealer, please? Thanks ❤
Hi, I love your videos! Yes, I can see the difference using concealers for some areas and how well you explain and show the importance of each and the difference in texture.
Thank you so much for this video. I think I finally understand why I need different concealers. I have chantecaille and cle de pear but I am absolutely ordering the other 2 right now!
Thank you for sharing this! I thought I was alone in my perfectionist daydreams, lucky you to find the combo! I always try the most popular concealer of the year, Dior was very nice, for the 4 months after opening it. I could do everything with it: when it was about spot concealing I applied it with my fingertips and tapped it hard, then tapped loose powder with my fingers over it and it didn't budge all day. For the under eyes I found it worked best with a blender brush super lightly applied with no powder. Approximately 5 hours in, it would settle in the lines, but could be tapped away. It did, however always break into pigment spots around that nasty dark corner of my eyes as well. I use the YSL, which oxidizes after 4-6 hours, depending on the weather/my activity, too. This one is perfect for undereye light reflection and I use a shade warmer than the rest of my skin, because I have very dark undereyes (super thin skin there, all my purple veins are visible). I can only every fully cover it up, by putting foundation over it. I sometimes still use the Maybelline one (that popular tube with the sponge on top), as it is very hydrating but high coverage and wears well. Unfortunately in a heavily air conditioned environment it dries apart, much like the Dior, doesn't feel dry, just looks like it. This concealer can function as a foundation, too it is very flexible and powerful, sadly I would need to own three different shades to use it on my whole face, so I just own the lightest that matches me and target areas that i would bring forward. My best spot concealer has been Bare Minerals stick. It has some salicylic acid in it, so two birds with one stone (this saying is starting to sound worse and worse :( poor birds... ) but it can be so dry, it flakes off by the edges which you'd try to blend away. Oh well. I just ordered the Chantecaille stick, to touch up my undereyes and now seeing how perfect it is for a light base, I am looking forward to use it as much as I can. Hopefully the shade I ordered will match at least some parts of my face ... I am super fair with an olive undertone, also neutral with thin skin. Technically I can blend away anything that's not pinkish. My biggest challenge is however finding a foundation or concealer to cover the area around my mouth: my skin is straight out green here and depending on my hormones can be paler, or more than usually saturated with pigmentation, thanks to the contraception pills. My guess is after watching this video, the solution is to splurge on that Cle de Peau stick. I just am afraid I might need to mix two shades.... Anyways, thanks again, I have saved this video in my Forever Useful playlist : )
This is a wonderful video🎉❤💁♀️! Thank you! I used to use the La Prairie Piwdwr Foundation (old formula) and since they reformulated that and doubled the price I was looking to try something else. I haven’t worn foundation now for over 2 years and each time I try a foundation I feel overwhelmed as if I have too much makeup on 😰. I think I’ll try to use a bit more spot concealing like you have shown in this video❤. I read that the Cle de Peau concealer was reformulated, do you still like the new reformulated one?
Grace, I can see the difference with the La Prarie it’s more brightening. And I totally understand having to use various concealers for different areas on my face. What works on dark spots on my cheeks will not work on under eye. I need something thicker. Have you tried a lighter shade of Chanel concealer? It prob doesn’t have the brightening technology like the La Prarie. I think you have to use what products that work for you and I can tell you’ve done a lot of research. 😊❤️
Excellent video! Tomorrow I'm gonna use my cle de peau concealer stick on the areas you mentioned and experiment with my concealers to work the way yours have. Thanks and blessings to you and your family
Excellent video Grace. I appreciate you explaining which concealers work best for specific areas. It makes a lot of sense. I agree that concealer is more important than foundation. I also have a few targeted areas that definitely need brightening but my skin is overall pretty much balanced. I love the Cle de peau and really need to save for the Sisley. I usually end up buying things for my daughters instead, which also makes me happy 😊
Hi Nice Video! For Sisley concealer under the eye, which color shall we choose? Shall we choose darker tone than our skin tone ? Or I heard some said can select orangie color to lighten our dark circle or eye puffiness is that true ? Kindly advise
Hello Grace! Thank you for this video! I have pretty fair skin with pink undertone, is Chantecaille perfect blur finishing powder will work for me ? Thank you ! Have a good day! 🌸
So glad you did this video! I finally bought the Sisley one 🤦♀️ Hahaha and am so happy with it specially the shade but somehow I cant seem to apply it as well as you do… 👍🏻 I was going to request for a demo so was excited when I saw this … as usual, your make up is so natural and flawless… cross my fingers I can get that under eye look of yours hahaha … by the way, any concealer application tips on eyes with a lot of lines in the the under eye area 🤔
grace... can you please tell me if the medium matte brown in the new Giraffe palette is a dupe for Java? I love Java but I don't want to buy it if it can be duped with the new palette that I already own. Thanks so much! 💕💕💕
Is the La Prairie a re-purchase for you? Awhile back I had the impression it was a "using it up" situation? I have it, and as expensive as it is, the packaging contains a lot of product, that’s for sure!
It would had been nice if on the other side you had just used a foundation and 1 concealer like most of us do, just to see what the real difference would had been!! The reason why I said this is because most of us hardly have time in the morning so we try to do the minimal,

I so appreciate you taking the time to explain and demonstrate the concealers ❤️
Grace, excellent video. Love your focus on the details.
Your techniques are terrific: no powder or sponge involved, and the concealers look melted into your skin with zero cakiness.
Thanks, was good to see all the differences, I learned a lot
Half face was so helpful! Thank u!

Hi! I love your concealer routine, looks so good and covers the darkness. Has La Prairie conceal been discontinued? Please let me know. Thanks ❤
I love the video! Thank you very much! Helps a lot! A lot! ❤️
This is exactly what I was looking for a long time. Thank you so much

This is a great video. Thank you so much. I was wondering what lipstick/gloss you are wearing in this video?
Can you do a more detailed video on that bronzer. Very intrigued!!
💕 thanks for the request! I don’t know how detailed the info is on the bronzer - but I posted a GRWM using it today 🌟

Expert level concealer use!
I have heard the cle de peau concealer formula has changed and it is drier and less creamy now. Have you found that to be true?
New subbie here, thanks for the great content! Do you remember the thick brush you used to buff out your lid concealer?
Hello Grace! Thank you for this video! I have pretty fair skin with pink undertone, is Chantecaille perfect blur finishing powder will work for me ?

Wow. First time then I see real difference. You’re witch (in a good meaning, who knows beauty secrets)
I can’t understand the product names.
