I completely understand wanting your clothes to feel like pajamas. That's why I work at a hospital. I get to wear pajamas everyday lol.

Sam Wagner I wear kitanica rsp navy blue with a scrub top. So I can wear a belt and my gun doesn't pull my pants down after work. I hate the price but have been trying to buy American. They are bomb proof but also $150
curtis9188 I work in a sterile corridor so all our scrubs have to be laundered in a special way so we can't bring our own scrubs. We just have the crappy scrubs with the draw strings and one pocket.

We only have two and a half seasons here in Arizona. That means Tru-Spec shorts for the summers and 5.11 pants during the winter. Specifically 5.11 Stryke pants as per recommendation by two members of the local SRT.
Both have rip-stop technology, stain resistance, odor control and *stretchable qualities. Important things to consider in the Arizona desert where everything sticks, stings, burns, bites and burrows its way into your skin.
Happy to give Vertx a try in these harsh conditions. Most fail from tearing fabric or lack of moisture wicking capabilities so this should be fun.

Props to you brother. I wear my pants at least several day usually and up to a week depending on the smell factor. If they begin to smell then they get washed. For some reason I'm just not a smelly guy and it takes A LOT for me to really stink. I've even asked my own kids and other kids if I stink at various times after days or not cleaning up and or working outside hard or in the gym and they are as honest as they day is long! So I'm with you John, keep up the good work!!!

Duluth trading firehose pants. Three years of every day use and just recently got a hole in them. They are my favorite.

h them. Not only that but the only thing I remove from my pants at night is my gun and cell to charge. All my other EDC gear stays in my pockets with my pants in the floor staged like firefighters do to where when I get out of bed I step in , pull them up and buckle up .
bryan faulkenburg I do the same thing, mainly because I don't like getting up any earlier than I have to so all my stuff is ready to go haha.

How much you wash your pants really depends on your job and activity level. As an office worker, I can easily wear my pants a whole week without washing them and they don't hardly get dirty at all, because I am not sweating in them and the environment is clean. I do the same thing with my pants when I go to bed (keep a lot of stuff in them) so I am ready to go when I get up.
They give new meaning to "pocket dump". I do like the drawers though. Thanks John

I have a pair of the Vertx delta stretch pants, I like them, they are a little skinnier so I can blend in with hipsters. I plan on buying more.

I'd like to thank you for your service and for what you do to help bring firearms safety and the warrior poet mindset to the masses. Your channel is one of the few that brings a realistic approach to self defense and the lifestyle that comes with living responsibly and safely.
I was recently married and live near a college campus that has a ban on firearms anywhere near the school, so I was wondering if you would consider making a video covering some options for those of us that want to defend ourselves and our loved ones who may not have the privilege to own and carry firearms at home and on our person (ex. college students). I feel that most UA-cam channels involving firearms exclude a huge portion of their viewership that would benefit greatly from learning some alternative ways to defend themselves and their families. Any information would be greatly appreciated, as I want to do anything within my rights to ensure the safety of my wife and myself. Again, thank you for doing what you do and I look forward to seeing more videos in the future!

Jerry McCrimmons yo but those pants are legit. I have one pair I've tortured them by shooting, crawling, ducking, running and being generally rough and they still hold up. I want a pair in green so I can run that with some multicam or woodland.

I have the Defiance Jeans by Vertx. I carry an extra AR mag because I able to.
I really like the original Vertx pants. I would prefer they would make them without the cargo pockets (low profile as they are). I may have to check these out.
I am a big fan of the Vertx Delta stretch pants.
+Mark robbins I like them a good bit, but they heat up, so south ga in the summer wasn't great
Hey guy. Checkout the Vertex delta stretch pants, they're more a khaki material, but plenty of stretch, I too don't wear non stretchy things, and I could easily go squat in these with no issue. Also, they do not look tacticool, have deep front pockets and the belt loops are spaced more than those- an appendix rig should fit within them easily. Reinforced front pocket lines, not as many of the larger "mag" pockets you have there, but if you had to sacrifice those for appropriate loops. Idk just another option Vertex Delta stretch.

Front pockets and belt loops are my main gripe with these pants. Other than that they are great. Have been rockin mine since they dropped.

Old video but good.they are on clearance on vortex website .limited sizes & colors.thing is I personally have ever owned a pair of sretch pants.tried Levi,Columbia,& a few others at local department store.COMFORTABLE!!! doubt I'll start with tactical but vertex is at top of "to try list"in tactical realm.peace

Sad thing is I do carry about that much stuff, - the ar mags and + a few other things. I use the 5.11 pants which have basically the same pocket setup.

It's not gross. My favorite pair of jeans I'll wear off and on all week. Granted I don't wear them to work and it's usually only a few hours at a time.. but they don't get funky.

I have some 511's that I almost never wash, I only wear them when I go shooting in the Mohave desert, they are really gross but I always shoot well in the desert and don't want to jinx them by washing them

Do you have to use any special soap when you wash them? Some gear from places like REI require special soap to maintain rain shedding ability.

I use pocket carry, and those look like they would print pretty bad. Any pants with elastic material tend to print.

Unless you're a farmer or some other blue collar worker who soils his pants and dirt and car oil, there is no need to wash your pants every 4 days or every week.

I work in construction, and typically wear my pants at LEAST 3 days at a time. If I get home covered in insulation or sheet rock dust, or they start smelling like week old pancake batter, they get a washing. other than that... I mean, they're just gonna get dirty again, and all that washing will just wear them out faster and run my water bill up. and yes, I'm single.
Jeans shouldn't be regularly washed. That's the whole point of underwear anyways. It gets washed everyday, so your pants don't have to.
Unfortunately in construction, mine are done after a day 😂 Not putting jeans back on with fiberglass insulation all over them.

After my disappointment with Tactical Distributors Carlos Rey pants, I've been searching and trying to find a pair of pants like this that aren't tapered in the leg or "skinny jean" feeling.
