Odell is honestly the reason I got into concrete 👍🏾
Right on Optimus
Watching your videos gets me day dreaming about what I want to do on my property in the future. It also will help me know if my concrete contractor knows what he is doing and if he is doing it correctly. Thank you for that knowledge sir.
Best of luck!
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the finishing look.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another great video Odell!
Glad you enjoyed it!
As always, tremendous work Mr. Odell 👍👍👍
TY

Good stuff
Can't wait for the pour

Glad you enjoy it!

Thanks 👍
It's already looking like a beautiful job.

TY

TY
love your work. been following you for years.
Much appreciated!
Another great job.
TY
Cool video. Looking forward to the next video
Thanks!
Great job you guys
TY
Wow huge job
I concur
Good stuff. A mini excavator with a grading bucket and digging bucket would make you life and your guys life so much better
yes
@@OdellCompleteConcrete make sure when you do decide to invest in a mini excavator. Look for excavator that can open and close your tracks. I can not express how this has saved me time and time again. We use a jcb 8018 mini. With the tracks closed completely and blade extensions closed I can squeeze through a 43” entrance
Does GREAT concrete, likes yard sales, what a man! Wow David so glad to see this awesome video it's just a joy to watch you guys work! Much appreciation always! You guys are the BEST!!!
Thanks 👍
Good video glad to see you back on site also like your talking over the video sort of know what you were thinking
Cool, thanks
Best concrete contractor on UA-cam & the West Coast for sure!
Wow, thanks!
My 44th birthday today. Awesome to end the great day with a graet video! Thanks David!
Happy Birthday
Love the descriptive narration. 👍👍👍👍

TY
Yep another great video
Thanks again!
Loves your work, would be mad for you to come out to Australia and come on some pours just to get a feel on how we do the same job but in such a different way!
Keep up the vids can’t wait for part 2!
yes that would be interesting
I like that pink bar you use, good stuff
I concur
I have some of those levels(4', 6', 8') IIRC, I purchased them from Juniors Tools(RIP) around 1990+. If you look at the level, there are two screws, one on each side of the level bubble. Those are there for re-adjusting the bubble.
Wow they're old models. but sound solid.
Thanks
Damn Good 👍
LOVE IT 👍
TY
Drummer
Drone short was nice.👌👌
TY
👌badass Dave!
TY
looks like a big job.. good luck with it
TY
Thats a great size yard
Yes it is
Haven’t been here in a while, like the drone that your using!
The drone is a beauty.
TY
You’re getting great at the camera work, including the drone shots.
TY
That Milwaukee tool cuts through that pipe so nicely
Yes that's true
Very enjoyable. You should get a soil sifter and sell on the soil as top soil.
Yes it's good stuff
Your videos inspire so many ppl David keep it up you seem so humble man!
One day I’d love to you use you on my property!
Probably gotta save up some more I’d rather pay for quality not some Offer up fly by night.
Keep it up!!!
Much love from Chino Hills!
Sounds good I'll be on standby
That’s the perfect back yard for having a big family with kids.
yes
Watching these timelapsed jobs with your narration, would shurly make me hire you guys :-) Must be good pr, this channel? Relaxing to watch too.
Great
TY
So amazing video 😍😍😍😍😍
TY
Love your videos, my only comment is that it would be nice if they were videos in a series were more clearly number for binge watching, other than that love it, all the best!
Good point
Excelente vídeo 💯💯💯👌👌👌
Thank you
Now that’s a big project and space. I wonder if the owner plans on building a fire pit , bbq island with a palapa . That would look great.
I wouldn't be surprised, Thats what I would do
Hope to see you at WOC !
Me too
TY
Hey man. A healthy tip for ya. First. Love the tie gun. I love mine witch brings me to my next point. If your doing a big field you can tie the outsides 100% and then 50% in the field. Little fast and your not wasting so much line. But. Give it a try
The fiberglass rods are to flexible for that
Man that looks like an awesome place for a putting green. You should have talked to him into a putting green.
Yes and a little chipping and a couple of sand traps
Hello, i am from israel and i can tell that never knew about the company😊 i realy enjoy to watch your videos.thx.
Thanks for watching!
Not one bit of concrete! 😂 This is gonna be epic, waiting for episode 2👍
TY
They supposed to put warning tape 2 feet above the pipe. WOW . Glad y’all didn’t blowup
And no tracer wire
LOVEEEEEEEEEE👌
TY
Ah this is one of the jobs you did a short on about a month ago or so, near the pool equipment. I forget what the short was for tho off the top of my head.
This lot is huge.
The footprint of concrete and house is only 30%
That was the video on how to set screed pins.
Hi,
Very grateful for you. How much the per square foot for the total?
Thank you
The good old straight edge spirit level!
Plenty of those around! Ones made in Israel maybe a different story!
First I've seen
One of the tricks I use to locate drains, waste, leech or similar is to shove an electrician's metal fish tape down it and then attach a wire locator to it and trace it that way. Sure, ya gotta make sure to clean the tape really well after locating a septic line......
Good idea
Been watching these for awhile and after questioning some of the methods on my 1000 sqft patio forms this morning the guy straight up grabbed his stuff, pulled the forms, and quit. I guess he has enough work it was easier to leave🤔😆
It's not the first time.

Greeting from Ireland ☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘
Hello Ireland
I poured a 88 yrd deck /pool deck . turned homeowners backyard to a parking lot really lol
Sweet
I love your channel but since you mentioned the gas line issue, why are you not having utilities come out and mark before you dig? We’re in AZ and call 811 to have all lines marked. No judgement - just curious. Thanks!
No way to trace plastic without a tracer line
What is a wet joint that you poured over the expansion foam? Is that to waterseal the foundation?
Expansion foam
Are you able to hammer dowels into holes with the fiberglass rebar or does it shatter?
Drill and drive works on these
What plate compactor are you running now ? I remember seeing a tomahawk?
This is MQ
What is the name of that fiberglass rebar ad where do u get it? That's u do a awesome job
Pink bar
Owen's Corning
thoughts on using a good gravel bed instead of rebar ?
I think I would go with the reiforcement if I had to choose, but it really depends where you are located.
done.
I find his voice quite soothing, haha
TY
I know it's your thing, but that's just too much concrete surrounding the house for my tastes. I always enjoy your videos! Thanks! I'll be getting my whole back yard fully excavated (approx 3000 sq ft) by the end of the month in preparation for home improvements!
Right on
GL
David I’ve been meaning to ask a question. How far ahead in advance do you guys have to order concrete delivery?
1 to 2 weeks
Actually, I got lucky with this one and got three loads back-to-back in two days' notice
Just curious why didn't they put down gravel and compact it before laying out the rebar?
No need in Southern CA
@@OdellCompleteConcreteAwesome. Thank you for the reply Mr. Odell. Love the videos. I'm subscribing to you guys now. Keep up the great work.
TY
Where can I rent one of those Vermeer tractors the one you stand up on and what’s the name of that rebar you’re using
Pink bar from Owens Corning.
Any tool rental has something similar.
👍💯
When will be uploading the puppies and finish on this job??
What are you charging per square foot on something like this ? I’m trying to figure out what some prices are like in different states. I’d be around $10 - $14 a foot on somthing like this with all the prep and trucking plus forming and pouring.
Sounds about right
Awesome… really appreciate the reply. Love the channel
What kind of wheel did you use on the grinder to cut pvc?
Probably a diamond blade
Amazing video
Which country
This USA, Southern CALIFORNIA
TY
How many tons does your dump trailer carry and does it lift with the max capacity?
3.5 tons. Yes it dumps with this load
For the RV parking, is the existing slab deep enough to support it? Are you also pouring a thicker slab under the RV area?
LMAO - Or put the dog over there, whatever! That cracked me up.
Yes the pour averaged 4.5".
4" will do the trick with a good hard base.
If I was a owner and I owned that house I would've made a 50 by 40' garage with a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 and a 1/2 bath on top with roll up doors and up doors and still had room for a rv parking
Still space for that
👍👍😎
That yard is massive!! What city is this if you don't mind?
yorba Linda
@@OdellCompleteConcrete great job! I watched every part to see how it turned out and I wasn't disappointed. 👍
My friend gave me and old lazer level and it had a level like that with it
Nice
14:06 That's not siding. It looks like the cheaper version of Trex decking material which the two big box hardware/lumber stores sell. 40 bucks a stick sounds about right.
yes cheaper trex
Watching these videos makes me realize how bad my yards are 😂😂😂
I hear that
Odell I need concrete work in New Mexico, when can you do it?
As soon as you want
@@OdellCompleteConcrete I thought you were in CA?
@@chaseoes New Mexico
@@manolocalifas6488 His website and Instagram both say that they only serve Orange County and Los Angeles, CA, and this video says it was filmed in Yorba Linda, CA. I'm not seeing New Mexico anywhere.
@@chaseoes ok
Like👍👍👍
Is this the only jobs you do or do you have other crews doing other jobs?
This is it
What did that job cost if you don't mind me asking?
20000
how much are you charging per foot now ?, trying to keep up with new cost
9.00
@@OdellCompleteConcrete thank you , it is what i am at right now, I guess I am good, I underbid another job at 8 at it was a very small profit margin
Did part 2 get uploaded?
Yes
@@OdellCompleteConcrete thanks I found it.
Why don't you use a water spear to locate things in ground, faster and much less intrusive and less physical input ?
I'll give it a try on the next one
The homeowner could have moved some of the junk! I moved 1/2 ton of gravel yesterday so my concrete guys could pour a 12x25 patio today!
Get it on
Marine
How much does it cost to remove the dirt ??
Wow that's expensive around here because there is so much of it. if I could ship it to the desert, it would be like gold.
Mr. O'Dell it's risky to top off the trucks because if he overloads it and the chp weights him I bet you my virgen corn hole, that will be the last time he makes that mistake. Overloaded tickets are extremely expensive and they go to the driver. Good work Sir.
These trucks are designed to be filled to the top or they would be shorter.
Thank you
With the rebar, is your standard 2 foot on center? I ask because for a patio it seems excessive personally I would be 3 to 4 foot grid.
It's optional.
I just like it
Around how much will a job like this cost?
15000
