- Top Gun Maverick was absolutely AMAZING!
Badd Medicine here and its Top Gun reaction and review time or some will say Top Gun 2 reaction! After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. Training a detachment of graduates for a special assignment, Maverick must confront the ghosts of his past and his deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who choose to fly it. The Cast and Crew did an awesome job with this movie! The nostalgia was just right. The homage was just right. And modern times was just right! Tom Cruise and Miles Teller told a great story! Val Kilmer as the Iceman was special. This movie did a great job of not over doing it! It was great to see them in the f-18 jets again and introduce some new planes as well. The stunts with the jets were out of this world! Damn near perfect if not PERFECT movie! The Top Gun Audience reaction was fantastic at our theater.

Yes. Out today here in France. PHENOMENAL! If I could I would have stayed and watched it again immediately. Absolutely incredible! My only regret is that there isn’t an IMAX theatre nearby. Wonderful experience nevertheless!

I think it will also go down as one of the important movies in terms of what it will do for movie theaters after the pandemic and therefore what it will do for the movie industry.

I highly recommend going to the theater and see it on the big screen! The audience I saw it with yesterday clapped, cried and cheered! It was emotional great story, great cast people where smiling and buzzing as they talked about it to each other going out of the movie with smiles and excitement! Fun, entertaining, action, emotion and gripping! Tom Cruise as Maverick was so great, Ice Man had a great moment with Maverick! Goose has long passed and we love him still and feel like some how he’s still with us in our heart just like he is with Maverick! Going again tonight! 10/10

41 yo here, I used to ask my mom to cut my hair like Maverick, so needless to say, this movie means a lot. Flight scenes, story, characters... epic stuff, go watch this in theatres

I saw the movie yesterday with my bbf in the same cinema we also went 35 years ago at age 11 to see the first one 😁 it was awesome and pure nostalgia mixed with new cool modern filmmaking. We loved it, we had chills several times. Must see!

Saw this at the cinema when it came out and it was absolutely awesome. I'm old enough to have seen the original Top Gun at the cinema and it is one of my favourite films. As you said, though, they somehow managed to make this one even better. Thanks for the review - it's always great to see how someone else feels about the films you love.
I watched the original in the movie theater back in 1986 several times and just loved it. So I was so excited when the sequel finally arrived in theaters and it was everything I hoped for. An amazing experience with great sound, action sequences and emotional as well. Loved it 😍😍😍

Just saw it today and wow this film made me tear up like 4 times, absolutely love rooster too I think he could continue the series if they decide to do a spin off or something😂
It was unlike anything else particularly in theaters and especially if you saw the first as a young child/teen. It's like a lifetime waiting, and a lifetime story arc that hit every beat in the conclusion. Awesome.

I am really glad they didn't use CGI like most movies do now a days.

I agree with everything you said, but just a little correction. They did used CGI, it was just well handled, for example things as the missiles and planes crashing are CGI generated. However, the absolute commitment to make this movie and the flying as real as possible delivers in every single way, and I’m very happy the movie is getting all the appreciation it has.

Watched it three times in the theater because it was so freaking amazing haha. Oh and on the second watch through, I saw it at Star Cinema Grill and had a "Talk to me Goose" vodka cocktail which I highly recommend lol
Been waiting to hear what you thought. I knew you’d love it. Saw it for the second time tonight. Loved it more and got more emotional. I think the depth of emotion in the story was what’s most surprised me. Plus Tom cruise is so good at conveying it all. I’d love to hear your more spoilers thoughts, maybe in a week or two once it’s been out a while.

Haven't seen it yet but I'm going to but I've already heard part of the soundtrack from a couple of places that have posted it already on UA-cam ., and it is literally enough to make a grown man cry, so I can only imagine what the experience was like for you watching it and listening to that

I just saw the movie last night and I can reveal details that aren't spoilers just in how my take was of the movie. I felt understanding what fighter pilots go through putting their lives on the line compared to many of us all who bitch and complain about lifes other stupid problems is just funny. Great movie! 👍

(Please don't come at me) I watched the first movie for the first time one month ago with my parents and right after the first movie I watched this one with them as well. I wanted to watch top gun maverick without watching the first movie but my dad (he's 50) said it was AMAZING so I said "okay, let's watch both movies" BUT I didn't like the first movie, I AM SORRY (don't come at me) I mean, yes the way the movie was made was incredibly good but story-wise I didn't like it at all. THIS MOVIE???!! IT WAS FREAKING EPIC. I was blown away by how much I loved this movie, everything about it is perfect, this movie is one of the best movies there is, period. After I watched it with them I watched it again with my mom the next day and alone the week after that, half the movie a week after that, I went out with some friends, we were at their house and I convinced them to watch top gun maverick and they loved it as well (I'll probably watch it 100 time this month xD). It is not posible to hate or not like this movie because it is perfection. Thanks for this short review!

Is it going to be a full reaction on Patreon like the Harry Potter movies? I would definitely enjoy re-watching that movie again with you guys reaction. It's a great and very unique movie. Also looking forward to the fantastic beasts reactions of course (if it gets voted in the upcoming poll).

It was nice that you mentioned the crew. I threw out 17 years abroad, moved back home (Vancouver, Canada) and went to film school. I had to, as I wasn't happy and my overriding obsessions were film & television. Now, having worked on features and working (currently on summer break) on a superhero show, I couldn't be happier. It's not the same for everyone. For some people, it's a paycheque. It's that, for me, but (on a good show, my current one being the best to date) also a labour of love. I'm seeing this tonight and I reckon it's going to be emotional without the film. The original was so important to my cinematic awakening, that this had to be good. I wish more sequels were like this - not done until they could be done better. 😎 #NeedForSpeed

@@user-yb4dz3oe6y Well it's a positive work place, for a number of reasons, so the people who work on it are usually happy to be there.
The crew are pretty cool people, as are the cast.
The department I am in and, I expect, other departments, is built with the idea of giving people a chance in mind. Some folks who may have personality quirks that make them less liable to fit in elsewhere are welcomed here. They're worked with and channelled, rather than rejected. I don't mean anti-social people. I just mean "different".
I've been able to chat with almost all the cast and they're all thoughtful, decent, people. It's as though everyone realises how lucky we are to be there.
The show isn't better than others by accident, either. It seems to have been put together by learning from the others and wondering how they could be made better. Less episodes and a greater emphasis on writing makes each one count more, for example. Cinematic camera work and colouring boost things and the synergy between cast members is excellent too.
Keep watching. You won't be sorry.
@@enigmachine That’s great that there’s a positive work environment. As a viewer, I can tell it’s a labor of love by the cast and crew. I appreciate the cinematic camera work and fewer episodes unlike other shows. Quality over quantity! The show is a refreshing take that humanizes Superman by focusing on his relationships while still having really cool action sequences. I loved season 1 and am enjoying season 2. I can’t believe it’ll be over soon. I’ll definitely be rewatching the whole season after it ends.

Top Gun second sequel is a great 👍🏻 movie 🎥🍿 and the second sequel is making a million of dollars 💵 and billions of dollars 💵 at the box office and there will be a third sequel of Top Gun and his character is going to be reprised as soon as possible!
