Thank you for the feedback! If the PintV with a Quart is this good, I figure the PintXV must be crazy good! Standard X is 100% better than it used to be though.
PXV is sooooo damn good. Also if you REALLY want to level it up, throw the XR sized 'Lil Duro' on there. Makes it my favorite board of all time and I've had a ton of em! Crazy what the PXV can climb, right?! And Tony (Floatwheel) dropping the 84v battery upgrade next spring is going to make this a monster. Can't wait! Happy riding!
Hi Ty! Thanks for stopping by. The PXV is crazy! I did not know the Lil Duro fit the Pint frame. Neither board is mine but when they need a tire change I'll def recommend that. Thanks!
@@p0rtugeek yea dude! Only thing to know is fenders won’t work as there is not enough room. Fender deletes do but you have to very slightly sand it down a smidge (very easy to do). Please paaalease trust me on this, this will change your world. Best combo ever. ;)
Nice video! I'm currently working on a video to compare the GT vs GTV as well as the Pint x w/update vs the pint v quart. The VESC kits are crazy good. 🤙
if thats just a pint with a V kit I can't imagine what a pintX/S with the larger battery would do with a V-kit. Love my pintX now with the new software but either gonna buy a floatwheel adv2 or maybe just buy a V-kit and upgrade it. Love the small form factor feel, but also heard floatwheel is releasing a pint sized 92V board in 2025, and that shit will be crazy.
The fact that the Quart (1P battery) still outperformed a stock Pint X battery is a good indicator that the PintX with the V kit is probably crazier. The new firmware is still pretty good though.
Hey, thanks for the video. My pint dropped me yesterday because the motor was overloaded from a small bump during quite normal carves. I don't want to go much faster but would like to have the board to have more power to increase safety margin while riding. Would the v kit help there with stock battery?
The kit would increase low speed torque, yes. However I don't think the kit is recommended with the stock Pint battery because the extra performance would kill your range pretty fast. I would not drop $500 on a Pint, I would sell it and get either a new PintX or a used Pint X. This new firmware is a lot of fun.
@@froggerc625 You can get a different battery, you will just need a new BMS for bigger voltage. Fungineers sells a 20S2P 84V battery with BMS for $600 that fits the stock XR frame.
It depends. If you keep cruising at normal speed and accelerate as always range should be the same. However the available torque and power will encourage you to change the way you ride and you will end up using up the battery faster.
Great question! The Pint S is essentially the same as the Pint X. The kit would upgrade the top end speed and low end torque. My own personal opinion is that the current stock software is pretty darned good and fun. If I had just bought a Pint S I would wait for the warranty period to be over before considering VESCing it. Even after the warranty period is over I would wait until the board breaks (controller or BMS) because I live outside of the USA anyways and if it ain't broke... If you want to install custom rails that would be a different story. The kit allows to relevel to any new set of angled rails. Also the kit + the Pint S gets you close to brand new GT price so if you care about range and faster charging you should also consider that.
Nice job! The irony that I stumbled across this video after releasing pint x versus pint x s.
Thanks for the video dude, i've had the Pint XV for about a month now and it's mad how much better it is than standard X

They are ridiculous. They make absolutely no sense. So much performance out of a 63V battery.

The tony stark edith glasses are so cool looking.
Thank you! Best birthday gift ever.
Nice video. That pint v is also a fair bit lighter as it has a smaller battery than the pintx. The pintx-v would perform even better than that pint v.

Can't wait for his 84v battery!
It's going to be bonkers.

Great time to be a onewheel rider, so many options it's tough to choose. Still don't know what route to take with my XR vs save and buy an ADV2.
I would personally wait for both the ADV2 and XRV kit to be out before making a decision.
@@p0rtugeek Yes no rush. I worry about limited battery upgrade options with the XRV.

Better cells will make ur pint v a monster
What does the battery life look like on the Pint V compared to the Pint x, assuming they are the same stock battery.
It depends. If you keep cruising at normal speed and accelerate as always range should be the same. However the available torque and power will encourage you to change the way you ride and you will end up using up the battery faster.
Would it make sense to upgrade a Pint S with the VESC kit on the stock battery?

Without watching i can reasonaly preduct the pintv kit destr9ys abything Fm can do
@@MrDmadness keep watching! It’s not as far as you’d think!
And this PintV has one of the weakest battery packs out there. It's like a baby or beginner VESC 😄. It's ridiculous when you think about it.
It's honestly perplexing.
