    Tyler your passion for fishing and teaching others is beautiful and motivates young men like myself to keep fishing and always getting better and to teach the young kids and teens a hobby to keep them out of trouble. You and your love for the sport inspire me and many others. Thank you for working so hard and cranking out these videos cheers

    Thank you Tyler! Been fishing my entire life(30+ years) but just started fishing in tournaments roughly a year ago. Never came close to top 5 until yesterday where I came in 2nd place and everyone went crazy! Most the guys were in boats with sonar, but some of us kayak guys were killing it! Felt really good listening to people I don't even know congratulate me and offer me tips, gear, and whatever. Went with 4 rods, came home with 8 rods and tons of other gifted gear plus $1,000! Saving that money up for my first boat. It helps that I grew up on this lake because it's in my backyard and most of them weren't from here.
    90% of the information I learned came from this guy. If a disabled veteran in a kayak like my myself can compete against $50,000 boat chads then anyone can do it, just have to study and practice a-lot.

    Tyler, I just wanna say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. I watch a couple other guys here and there, but I watch your videos religiously. I don't have fancy electronics, but you have taught me so many things. I can finally go out to any body of water with confidence that I will catch at least a couple fish. No more sitting in one spot all day dragging a worm for 1 or 0 fish. You've given me confidence in multiple new baits, taught me how to cover water and find fish and patterns, and more importantly, I've been catching multiple mondos lol. Thank you for being humble, and sharing your knowledge to an average joe like myself. God Bless.

    You speaking on throwing a glide bait and watching for followers is absolutely a killer tip. I like to pitch a magdraft up under overhanging tree limbs and burn it back to the kayak and i draw some monsters up out of it.... however,im not so sure how to catch these followers. I often will throw a wacky rigged senko up there afterwards and sometimes it works but in my experience,followers can be very big but incredibly hard to catch. Anyways, when your drawing them outta cover like that, following up with a wacky rigged senko might get him but the main thing is to not be discouraged in the face of absolute loss. Dont be put off when you get skunked,bass fishing is freaking hard to do, especially catching quality bass....its incredibly hard to do.

    With Google earth,Im able to see underwater creek channels and being able to take my kayak and fish that channel has turned my lake into a horrible place to fish into one of my favorite places to fish. The value of Google earth can't be understated

    I agree that people need to find their own fish. I have taken people to spots, and the next tournament they would be setting where I took them. I know I do not own the spot, but I would not do that to anyone that took me fishing unless they said I could fish the spot during the tournament.

    Hey brother, would love to see you fish and do a lake break on wolverine Lake in Oakland county Michigan. It's man made and not crazy pressured, but it's a weird lake. It's mostly 5 feet deep with a few 10-30 foot drops... Would be nice to see a pro break it down

    Unfortunately nowadays the “process” to find bass is to just click on the FFS. Sadly. FFS needs to go. It should have no place in fishing. Especially Bass Masters.

    • @cra-bassint.v.5664
      @cra-bassint.v.5664 28 днів тому

      Ffs doesn't help u find fish no more then side imaging, down imaging and 2d.. you still have the process to locate areas that have fish before u can put em on a screen.. and besides if u stand behind the ffs screen your on your trolling motor all day and you won't cover an adequate amount of area doing that.. just like the pros don't use it to locate fish they utilize it once they found fish.. there's a difference that people need to understand.. and besides just because u can see em on the ffs doesn't mean u can force then to bite.. it takes alot of knowledge and practice to understand fish behavior before u start actually catching them on ffs.. js bud 🤷‍♂️
