When you find yourself stuck, apply a little pressure to the throttle and rapidly turn the steering wheel back and forth to gain a little traction. That usually does the trick.
Second car has automatic gearbox with 90/10 - 55/45 front/rear proportions of torque split First one has 55/45 - 45/55 front/rear + low range gears. First is better outside tarmac, second is great on highway
@AWDfreak Thanks for kind words. Those Pirelli Scorpion should do at least decent, much better than the ones on the second car. Would they do better than the first one? I have no idea - never used those Scorpions. On my OBK I use Uniroyal Rally4x4Street and on dry and wet tarmac they outperform Bridgestone Potenza RE050A I use on Civic Type-R, and they outperform those Pirelli on slippery mud, as you can see on the movie.
Thank you so much for uploading this video. It is both entertaining and educating. I'm going to buy myself Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires. Do you believe it would do well in these conditions?
@Mopedwille They are excellent, get them. I use them third or fourth year and will get new set next spring. Very good tires, excellent on wet tarmac as well.
@realdevlin thanks for the quick answer ;) If there are good i think i buy this tires cause the tires who mounted on my outback are really old and there are the baddest tires i ever had XD
if the car doesnt come in manual id suggest in not buying it. i never have and never will buy an automatic. if my choice of car doesnt come with a manual option, i wont buy it, manual transmission give you more control over how your car drives and handles. it also give you more control in mud, dirt and snow since you can control the how much power the wheels have.

Right when the second guy is getting momentum he lets off?????

Awesome, so wish I owned an Outback, I've got a legacy which = limited ground clearance!

Are the uniroyals good tires for light offroad?
I want to buy the tires for my outback
Me neither. Better drive subaru on mountain road without traffic, cause everybody will watch the match :D

All he had to do is stand on the throttle. Would have gotten there eventually.
It's not clear test, 3.0 has more torque on rear axle and was VDC switched off/on?
1 subaru did it like a boss
That second driver should have tried a little presure on brakes so tires would not slip so much. Needs to go to an off road class somewhere.
@AWDfreak get some mohave Kuhmo AT's instead....they are better then pirelli and do wonderful in all conditions and very smooth on street.
the second driver had a different engine and was an automatic...
Driving lessons would help more than the tires!
2nd guy doesn't have anti skid off does he?
2nd. driver doesn't know how to drive in mud, that's for sure.
When there isn't offering on Manual, what do you suggest people should drive regardless of your comment... hmmm?!?!?
i agree with you :)
That sound at 0:47 doesnt sound good....
indeed. Got of the throttle when he crucially should have been on it.

no, its Automatic. Manuals are way more capable.
las llanta influyen, pero falta chofer...
Rush jay 2121, that's no excuse.
@realdevlin Ya wet for sure,,what about dry?..lol
Second driver was very bad.... Fabia for him :D
Don't go driving with the bald guy!
Ouch.... nice bottoming out fest.

I tak z wami wygramy.
I'm not watching footbal. Better ride motocross...
Second driver sucked
