I love my dewalt battery ratchet. Works amazing. Never had issues charging my dewalt batteries unless it’s well below freezing. I’ve also seen all brands have charging issues when cold but I’ve also been around a lot of job sites
Lithium batteries, like anything below zero, are adversely affected. If those batteries are charged, they are essentially destroying themselves due to the nature of that battery chemistry.
@@SyilxMechanical Kinda like saying you like a certain car because the seat-belts don't work, Charging Li-Pos under 0°C will damage the chemistry, I understand that the job has to be done and f it let's do it anyway but the safety is just doing it's job.
So, as far as if the battery is cold if you place it on the tool and run the tool wide open for just a couple seconds it will warm that battery up and charge me all the time

My buddies Milwaukee does the same thing with the batteries not charging when it's under 10 degrees
I have seen it with milwaukee in extreme cold but -8c is really nothing my few milwaukees do charge in -10 as I found out today
I think everyone has different luck with tools
I'm looking at picking this up looks like a good tool.
@Johndeere60 I use it every day up here. The torque is great and I've adjusted to keeping the batteries in the cab

That actually was impressive.
A lot of folks are running up to 3/8" bolts, what you ran there looked like 5/8" (15mm?)
That thing is at least 24 mm lmao, his finger can fit in it
@@filipevieira6052socket says 30mm on it!

Makita just breaks for good in the cold
All good if you are not in the great plains, I guess😂
Hi! Can this tool be used manually, like a regular ratchet, or only automatically?
It will work like a normal ratchet.
No point in using a nylock if you are going to run it down that far
Just used what was there.
