Good video and an honest review. I think using two different types of media, first the plastic jug and then a cardboard milk carton might have yielded different results. I've had great success with the 1.75 and next FALL I'll be trying the 2.0 ROBUSTO crossbow heads. If you check out John Lusk, Lusk Outdoors he said that the .175 was the highest-scoring head he'd ever tested!

I think they are a really well built broadhead. I have not used them in a personal level but I know they would be good. I just love G5 Megameats too much to leave them.

My friend uses the 1.5 with 100% positive results. One thing he does is really sharpen the little notch where the o-ring rides. He uses those dental latex rubber bands to keep the blades in the closed position during flight. He normally has around 290+ fps off a 70 # draw bow. Results are that everything he shoots has deployed blade cut marks on the entering side at full width. Before he did his modifications there were some hits that showed the blades not fully open. Just saying this trick works great for him anyway. 👍👍

I shoot the sevr 1.5 overall great head and the locking pivoting blades do awesome on game and really keeps deflection in the animals to minimal.. The rage 1.5 that they discontinued with shock collar I believe penetrated better and probably was the best penetrating mechanical I have seen. While not as bad as the rage 2.0 the 1.5 still deflected on game.. Sevrs do take more effort to open then a rage shock collar or even the old school and my personal favorite ones used a rubber o ring..I am going to play with different o rings on the sevr to open more easily.. A mechanically head shouldn’t be rated for both crossbows and compounds with a o ring involved.,

Just sharpen the notch on the blades a little.

I have tried that. I am thinking about going the shwacker route and making custom diameter shrink tubing rings to sit down where o ring goes.the shrink tube won’t stretch like the o ring and the blades are plenty sharp to cut it easily..

That sevr will beat the pants off the G5 iv shot both and those G5 have some shitty weak blades iv never bent a sevr blade and I shot them through a shoulders hit leg bones and a car hood one time to see just how tough they were. G5 blades bend when they hit fur!!
