(AOD is a darker Lara and acts much different than her previous adventures. Core Design said so themselves. As a side note.) Some may differ, but I disagree. The first three games weren't about Lara herself as much as it was about her adventures. So it left room for interpretation who Lara is. I think seeing Lara's character being flesh-out has brought contradictions to their original idea of her. In fact, Toby Gard worked on Legend-Underworld games and got the opportunity to flesh Lara out for the first time due to technology and people are saying that his interpretation is wrong! I'll only give them this: Lara's written background has changed throughout the series.
I think this was the best Lara of the Legend Trilogy. Energetic, witted, has humor and confident. Keely Hawes will always be my favorite Lara Voice actress!

I can kind of relate to what you thought of the rebooted games in the series. I’ve played most of the games, but the latest one was “Rise of the Tomb Raider” and “Shadow” they were my least favorites. Which was a shame, cause the scenery and gameplay was really good, but the story was very forgettable.

I hate how Amanda justified everything and said that Lara's mother went where she wanted to go, even though all Lara's life, Amanda was the reason Lara's mother died. She could have easily said: "Lara, take out the sword, or it will explode!" But instead she made Lara's mom think that she was in danger. And so Amanda caused Lara's mom's death, again.
But she was in danger. If she had said that and present day Lara pulled out the sword while past Amelia didn't, then the past sword would have exploded and potentially killed them both in the past and created a paradox since of Lara got blown up as a child she couldn't be there in the future with Amanda

Legend cutscenes were the best from the trilogy. They were both badass and funny. If someone knows if soundtrack from this cutscene 1:02:36 is available to download somewhere please let me know. I haven't found it anywhere and it's soooo amazing!

As a fan from when the games came out when I was just a little girl: I prefer the old TRI, II & II, but these aren't so bad either. Sometimes I think they talk way too much, but then Lara delivers an awesome line and I am laughing. Just don't mention AOD..... I can't comprehend how the F many think it's a masterpiece: it was the last botched game that ruined the franchise...... Everything about that game was botched: the controls in themselves were horrible.
