(Maybe in another life I'm a photographer and not a script-writer/recorder/whatever I'm doing now. Apologies again to everyone who knows what they're doing with a camera because I sure don't. His art project sounds a little silly in practice maybe but I bet there's a way to make it work.
The thumbnail for this one is very cherry. Big red cherry. I wish I could make all of my thumbnails blue and purple but then they would all look the same. The way he kept asking for consent and letting us know what he was doing while still trying to scare and intimidate gave me literal butterflies. The contradiction gave it this creepy yet comforting feeling I couldn't stop listening I just had to know more
I thought a plot twist was about to happen omg 😭 I got nervous when you started asking those alarming questions. Me personally if I was in that situation and you asked me "Where will you be when the sun comes up" I would immediately start throwing hands lmao. I enjoyed this audio a lot, thank you Tanuki ❤
I'm sitting here, listening with my eyes closed, he said that and they shot open. In no reality would I still be there and his nose still be intact
I literally felt my heart drop to my ass when he said that like ion even care after that it was for the “dramatic effect” my trust issues would be sounding 1000 alarms, definitely would’ve thrown hands or ran💀💀

I was panicking when the character got really close and started talking about how I might regret coming to his home.
The naive line especially got me because I didn't even think about the safety issues of it until the character told me and I tend to be a really naive and gullible person like that 😅
I think my breathing actually got quicker during that photoshoot - I thought something bad would happen but then I remembered this is an audio and not only that but Tanuki's audio !!! Dont be scared, silly! ☝️
Even though you say you weren't extremely familiar with photography you still sounded really convincing and I love what the character said about learning to observe better via doing photography, and about how the camera is honest - it's something I've thought about before so I was excited when I heard it in the audio.
And the wind down at the end was much needed for me at least. I felt myself relaxing and trusting the person again.
Anyway I didn't mean for this comment to be so long, I kinda just blurted out my thoughts ig. Thank you for the great audio as always Tanuki, you're very skilled!❤
@Catnonymouse Hehe yeah it's just an audio. I'm sure you'd hear the alarm bells if someone actually said all that to you. This dude is kinda creepy. Ahh I'm sure other channels would go all the way but I couldn't help making him chill out at the end there. It was fun either way though to try to make this one more tense.

I KNEW ITTT! He really was just pretendingggg! Although I still wasn't able to fully guess how it'll go and end, I knew the guy was pretending at some points! But yeah, the note at the end, that indeed is so true. The world can be so evil soo many times. Be careful out there!
And the photography part in the script! Actually, you're making sense in a really good way, for someone who's not well-versed in photography! Making the exposure higher and prolonging the shutter speed does capture the haunting-ish features of anything white or bright when it's moving in the dark.
One more thing, I like how the music you chose was very timing to the flow of the story! It starts off very mysterious, haunting, scary, but as the notes progress, you find it's actually really nice. Flat notes tend to do that to people in the first few seconds until you get to somewhere near the middle. Aight stopping myself from rambling more in here lololol

I liked the suspense! I definitely thought the listener was going to die for a bit there. So the fact that they didn’t is nice. Your ending note from your legal team was also very funny.
I genuinely enjoy your outros, I kinda wait and anticipate them and when I didn’t hear it in the first part I almost cried ngl 🥲. also the part were you kinda get in the listeners face and scare them I genuinely thought this was gonna turn yandere 😭. keep up the good work tho ❣️

im gonna be so honest. my artist self loves the idea of this, and i may be a lil crazy for this but. the way it was made to be creepy was effective but also so damn endearing.
When he said "wear all white" on the last video i though "huh this might not end well" and this video was unsettling but like great story telling

This started as a pendulum, constantly swinging between excitement and worry.
Getting that wonderful jolt of electricity when a person you’re attracted to stands very close or touches you.
Then a worrying thought of being alone in a strange place with a strange person. A very intense and not necessarily a safe person. At 2AM.
But then again that close whisper, smiling remark or a slight touch. Not being sure how to take it.
How curious.
Long exposure photography was a great addition. The project sounds very interesting. The pictures would be soft with multiple exposures overlapping. Movement staying in the image as ghostlike echoes. Only few details captured in clearly, maybe the dark staring eyes. With the white clothes it would look a bit historical. Victorian. Haunted. Thunder working well as a backdrop for that atmosphere.
This also proves that tea instantly makes everything more relaxing :) The tension eases in the end. When someone talks about something they are very passionate about you can hear that in their voice.
It sounded like you know a lot about photography :) Except for a tiny little detail. There are two clicks. First when you push the shutter open and again when it closes. Normally it happens so quickly that it sounds like one click. But with long exposure it takes a long time, half a minute or more. So you hear them both.
Heh. Just a photography nerdy version of seeing people play guitar in the movies without moving their other hand. So nobody really cares :)

I don't know why I watched both of the videos more than once but I really didn't feel intimidated. I guess it's the voice that is soothing so I can't help but keep smiling while listening (am I the weird one?) He starts as a tease and eventually turns to a relieved softie.
I liked that he is threatening us in a way but also he doesn't push us like there are consent checks randomly. It has a natural flow when you are in the moment, it doesn't seem like it would be a one in a million random encounter, it doesn't seem made up. (I know some parts aren't like realistic but you know it sounds natural)
And I really liked the places he took me, we don't really stop and think about some thinks.
I liked how you make it seem like you know your stuff about photography, I almost believed it. I would expect more than one shot for the same pose.
I liked how this one ended with fading away I thing it was a good choice leaving it like that you wouldn't just cut it out like that, I liked the rambles. Also I really like the disclaimer at the end lol

god this.. WOW it blew my mind. i know everybody else already said this but i felt SO TENSE and it felt like the character was in the room with me and that i was in danger. (obviously knowing it’s just an audio, but still. a whooole other level of immersion!!) i don’t usually like the bordering-on-yandere characters or scenes, but i thoroughly enjoyed this entire thing. AMAZING job developing this and with the incredible quality as usual, it felt like a movie!! i’m excited to see if this will continue :D

WOW this was excellent, that first half had my heart racing. your voice is perfect for the binaural parts in there. I think the inclusion of the ending bit helped the tense beginning be a little more palatable, I wasn't expecting to enjoy that tense kind of setting so much, but the kind of wind-down part definitely helped. I'd love to see this character again, obviously the next morning is already set up but it would be cool to see his future photography projects from time to time. Incredible work as always!

I don't know what it is about yout voice but when the character was being intimidating and intimate I was more flushed than anything! The shift completely took me off guard
Holy fuck. The first half of the audio was unsettling, scary even.
The sound of the kettle gradually getting louder kind of felt like ( I ) the listener was still uneasy and nervous despite the shoot being over. My heart was still racing, gawd damn 💀 (If you ever make a horror/scary series, you would definitely pull it off.
All in all, phenomenal and greatly executed audio. My admiration for you and your work just skyrocketed even more. It was already at moon last I checked, maybe it's near Pluto now.
@lllemon_wmei I didn't think I'd ever write an audio with thinly veiled threats of murder in it that actually sound genuine but here we are. It was an odd one to write for me I think, a little past my comfort zone to act. But I guess that's good exercise as a VA. No I wouldn't trust this guy even after the shoot. Because if that part was an act, who's to say the rest of it isn't as well?? Hehe maybe around halloween I'll give something like this another go. @ameera You would've preferred if it stayed tense and creepy throughout? Y'know part of me wanted to commit to that or like...cut the audio short right after the shoot ended and leave it more ambiguous. But the other part of me is too soft hehe. I think part of my issue is that I overshot my goal and made him sound a little murderous rather than just sarcastic and flirty. If I ever do more of like a horror-themed audio though at least I know I have something to work with now.
Seriously though, I envy photographers and visual artists who are able to tell stories with just a picture. I need a microphone and fifteen minutes at least. I had an idea of what his project would look like after it's finished but I don't know if the methods he talked about could actually make it real. They just sounded sophisticated enough to make him seem like he knows his stuff. Your haiku this time sounds so defensive and bitter, I love it. Thanks as always for listening

That honestly gave me the chills, it kind of reminds you of those scenes from murder mystery shows right before the big bad thing happens. I love the automatic shift after you were done, the way it was just a way to play into the energy of the shoot. Ohhhhhhhh my i cant wait for this i love the sound of digital camera shutters (if there arent any in this audio then pardon me for sounding silly). Reminds me of my sister when we used to go on family vacations and she'd bring her digital camera and i would use it to snap everything. Thanks for triggering that memory, Tanuki ( ◜‿◝ )♡ it's thundering now and the lightning is flashing really brightly and scaring me a little. But this somehow calms me down a little. Ill go listen to your old audios while i wait ❤️

The way the kettle kept rising and then unleashed that almost human scream is so unsettling. I don't think I can trust this guy, I feel like there's something wrong with him. Even the way described where I might be tomorrow made me wonder if I'd end up dead. Him allowing me to walk out might just be his way of saying "I can get rid of the evidence easily anyways".
He can definitely be played for horror, there's just something so off about him.
Oh and I forgot to mention, I found it amusing that he said to show up in all white so I thought "does he want me to act like a ghost or something" and then when he said the thing about wanting it to look more super natural, it suddenly made more sense.
He kills me so that's just him preserving my ghost or something lol.

Quite a nice wrap up, I must say, Tanuki. I love the character and the subtleties of him. I also like how your voice seemed to shift a bit throughout both the first and second video. Quality was wonderful as always and I expected nothing else.
I hope the shift in frequency of audio uploads doesn’t burn you out or anything. Please remember to value yourself first; though you may enjoy creating these audios, make sure it doesn’t hurt you, mentally or physically. Get some good sleep as often as you can (I could tell myself that).
I also appreciate the four and half minutes of outro, it was wonderful to listen to. The more of your soothing voice the better in my opinion. I don’t know if I’ve expressed it before, but I have a few sources of solace I like to retreat to when I’m stressed or sad or anything of the sort. @ThighHighs Aw thank you. Oh for sure though, when I have a little more free time, it's a fun challenge to try to keep up with more frequent uploads. But as soon as everything else starts picking up again, it stresses me out too much to keep recording. That happened to me right after I started the channel and it burned me out then so I'm trying to be more aware of it this time. I was going to cut the outro more for this one, just like I was going to cut the second half of the audio but after a certain point, I just couldn't think of what I wanted to remove to get it tighter. To be fair though, the outro was originally like eight minutes hehe. I ramble too much. I'm so happy to be able to help you relax. That's what I'm here for!!
