oh my woah! i promised myself i'd be on time for this and i'm still a few hours late, whoops. but i really enjoyed this! i've only seen like one movie of twilight and two seasons of the vampire diaries lol but that honestly told me a little that vampires are supposed to be "serious" and "brooding" and such. however, in this video, you made him feel.. real? if that makes sense? even if he's a vampire, he feels so much like a human, and that's what i enjoy! and i also love how the listener in this situation was a little more of someone who teased and was bold, and was secretly super rich (holy shit!) another thing is that your acting honestly gave me some chills. like your characters feel more realistic and i can picture exactly what they would look like talking, (expressions and suchc) and it makes it so much easier to picture. especially in the scene where he cried! i really don't mean to compare as there are a lot of talented voice actors out there too, but some of the ones i've come across were a little bit half-assed. i love, love, love it when i feel like i'm having a real conversation. this one was a lot of fun, thank you so much, tanuki! and i hope your week was great! ❤

Serious and brooding vampires are fun and those kinds of characters can hold a lot of interest, but it just didn't feel right for this guy. I get what you mean about the acting, too. A lot of channels like mine do just 'read' the script and it doesn't keep my attention very well. I've always liked the acting that feels a little more cinematic. There are some that do acting soooo well but they still don't feel real. And sometimes I wish I could do that as well because the over-acting style is just so engaging and entertaining. But also I'm so much more comfortable just trying to get these guys to sound real. Like real conversations. It means a lot to know that it shows through. Thank YOU for listening, you're wonderful. The backstory to how he became a vampire and how his life changed was really interesting (and sad), I was really immersed in that part of the audio. As always thank you Tanuki for another amazing video ❤
If and when you decide to write and perform that scene, I'll be delighted to hear it. I used to do my homework under a pear tree when it was nice out, so that particular scene really unlocked a lot of pleasant memories. You can really feel how he mourns the pure contentedness of such a simple joy. No rush though; it's easy to tell you put a lot of heart and soul into this audio. Whatever you're doing is clearly working 😊

Alternate Title: Sad vampire breaks down and finds a sugar mommy. Jokes aside I think the struggle was worth it because I really enjoyed these 2 parts. Even though you said it'll be a long while before you ever revisit this, know that future parts will be greatly anticipated and looked forward to. Also just the implications of his brand of vampirism in a modern setting where vampirism is apparently not a topic of conversation (at least to our knowledge) is wild. It makes me wonder about Neil. Either he's taking him at his word (if he believes him... alright fair, but if he doesn't then that means he hasn't raised any medical questions about how this man is just not eating food) or he knows something. Vampirism in any setting raises all sorts of medical and scientific questions and it's wild that nothing has happened yet. I know he said he woke up in the hospital but he doesn't remember much. Does that mean medically he's operating like a normal human being? 😂 I'm deeply curious about this.

Yep i found my new favorite "asmr" rp audio creator someone who doesn't just outright whisper (it ticks at me really quickly and i hate it) AND actually gives a full shott story to immerse myself into, not just "rar I'm a (insert such and such here) and I'm dominant you're mine now" or "I'm a soft boyo who wants loving come get me" proper well thought out story, not annoying to listen to, and in the same vein, an actually really good voice with clear mic quality so it actually hits and isn't distracting absolutely want a part 3 (and/or more) with further story development or even just slice of life stuff, this has amazing potential! absolutely an instant subscribe
As someone who has the same problem with finding good audio creators may I recommend Magebunkshelf, he has really well thought out audios with amazing storytelling and good audio quality.
Might I recommend a few more? Obsidian lantern, sj.audios, good boy audios and siren's son are a few that come to mind (also yes magebunkshelf is great)
i love coming back to this to find people actually commented more creators to look into between this one here, and yuurivoice (just about everyone knows him) ((I'm a sucker for his Sidon)) i haven't personally found any others so this is nice

29:06 ah, this is so funny! Made me think of the time when I used to live with an extremely rich family while studying abroad and at that time my reaction to their place was practically the same. hello Tanuki!! i hope you are doing well!! honestly i feel so happy that every weekend i can see your new upload notification!! i enjoy these 2 parts of our new vampire guy very much. i have listened to so many vampire guys before but this guy is so new to what i expect about, and then i think, of course he's different, he is Tanuki you little dork :> i always adore the way you build each character with a little bit of "Tanuki" in them. this vampire gentleman makes me want to hug him so much when he talks about himself and his story. imagine just having fun with friends, then waking up with some weird marks on the neck, and bam, you are a vampire. it is so hard to accept that you are not “normal” anymore, and so sad when everyone start leaving. it’s really hurt… but hey, at least, he has meet the listener who constantly wants him to bite them and be friend with him hehe Also Tanukii, the listener in this audio is so cute, they are emotional at first time and become so quirky when they realize him as vampire later (the kiss tho) and thennn, SUPER RICH with the apartment at 58th floor, and and and our vampire's reaction, omg, the ending just makes me crack up so damn hard!! i didn't see that coming, i was so emotional you know!!! Just how I gotta write, but I like how all my scripts actually feel like mine. Mm, mhm his story is so tragic but I wanted to give him some redemption! Or at least show that he's capable of changing and persevering even if he has so much that he regrets. Growth is important! Y'know the ending caught ME off-guard while I was writing it, I was just going and going and smiling at the idea of it because it felt so silly. Some of the comments on the video have definitely given me ideas on how I'd be able to explain it in fun ways as well, it's exciting. If a part three does come, I promise it'll be a fun one. Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh this was so good. I was asleep during the premiere but watched this after I woke up. This came out so good Tanuki. My heart went out to this speaker when he was calling himself a monster and also talking about what he missed from before he got turned. I can't imagine how rough things have been for him and I very badly wish to be his friend. He's so sweet and kind and deserves that kindness in return. If you've decide to keep this a two parter series I completely understand, but I can say I wouldn't say no to another part. I am curious about what the listener's deal is with the whole being extremely rich thing and why they were so calm about the whole speaker being a vampire thing.

Ok I honestly love your depiction of a vampire. Most audios make them either flirty or aggressive but yours was chef’s kiss. You made his problems so authentic which fleshed out his character so well! Your scripts and characters are seriously masterpieces ❤

aww shy scaredy-cat vampire is my fave. I love this two parter so much. I really enjoyed the ending, and the idea that the vampire is the one who's just doing fine, but isn't ostentatiously wealthy, is such a good break from the stereotype. It's also really nice to see someone who's a vampire, but isn't an "old" vampire. Really enjoy the characters you come up with, they always feel so alive rather than like a set stereotype and that's a difficult thing to do in an audio only format, so you should be very proud of that. Also - the piano is always such a soft and gentle sound and I genuinely adore hearing it at the end of videos. paired with the outros it always puts me in a good mood, so thank you for that =)

i've only seen like one movie of twilight and two seasons of the vampire diaries lol but that honestly told me a little that vampires are supposed to be "serious" and "brooding" and such. however, in this video, you made him feel.. real? if that makes sense? even if he's a vampire, he feels so much like a human, and that's what i enjoy! and i also love how the listener in this situation was a little more of someone who teased and was bold, and was secretly super rich (holy shit!)
another thing is that your acting honestly gave me some chills. like your characters feel more realistic and i can picture exactly what they would look like talking, (expressions and suchc) and it makes it so much easier to picture. especially in the scene where he cried! i really don't mean to compare as there are a lot of talented voice actors out there too, but some of the ones i've come across were a little bit half-assed. i love, love, love it when i feel like i'm having a real conversation.

I get what you mean about the acting, too. A lot of channels like mine do just 'read' the script and it doesn't keep my attention very well. I've always liked the acting that feels a little more cinematic. There are some that do acting soooo well but they still don't feel real. And sometimes I wish I could do that as well because the over-acting style is just so engaging and entertaining. But also I'm so much more comfortable just trying to get these guys to sound real. I used to do my homework under a pear tree when it was nice out, so that particular scene really unlocked a lot of pleasant memories. You can really feel how he mourns the pure contentedness of such a simple joy. No rush though; it's easy to tell you put a lot of heart and soul into this audio. Whatever you're doing is clearly working 😊

Jokes aside I think the struggle was worth it because I really enjoyed these 2 parts. Even though you said it'll be a long while before you ever revisit this, know that future parts will be greatly anticipated and looked forward to. Also just the implications of his brand of vampirism in a modern setting where vampirism is apparently not a topic of conversation (at least to our knowledge) is wild. It makes me wonder about Neil. Either he's taking him at his word (if he believes him... alright fair, but if he doesn't then that means he hasn't raised any medical questions about how this man is just not eating food) or he knows something. Vampirism in any setting raises all sorts of medical and scientific questions and it's wild that nothing has happened yet. I know he said he woke up in the hospital but he doesn't remember much. Does that mean medically he's operating like a normal human being? 😂 I'm deeply curious about this.

Yep i found my new favorite "asmr" rp audio creator
someone who doesn't just outright whisper (it ticks at me really quickly and i hate it) AND actually gives a full shott story to immerse myself into, not just "rar I'm a (insert such and such here) and I'm dominant you're mine now" or "I'm a soft boyo who wants loving come get me"
proper well thought out story, not annoying to listen to, and in the same vein, an actually really good voice with clear mic quality so it actually hits and isn't distracting
absolutely want a part 3 (and/or more) with further story development or even just slice of life stuff, this has amazing potential!

I loved these series so much, so (bitter)sweet and melancholic, and unique too, considering how delicate and thoughtful your character turned out to be - well, honestly, I've never seen vampires like this before, and I've had my fair share of vampire fiction (oh, the embarrassing high school memories of watching yet another Twilight movie at the local cinema)... And now I'm pretty sure this right here is a perfect example of the cutest vampire in the whole world, haha.

i enjoy these 2 parts of our new vampire guy very much. i have listened to so many vampire guys before but this guy is so new to what i expect about, and then i think, of course he's different, he is Tanuki you little dork :>
i always adore the way you build each character with a little bit of "Tanuki" in them. this vampire gentleman makes me want to hug him so much when he talks about himself and his story. imagine just having fun with friends, then waking up with some weird marks on the neck, and bam, you are a vampire. it is so hard to accept that you are not “normal” anymore, and so sad when everyone start leaving. it’s really hurt… but hey, at least, he has meet the listener who constantly wants him to bite them and be friend with him hehe
Also Tanukii, the listener in this audio is so cute, they are emotional at first time and become so quirky when they realize him as vampire later (the kiss tho) and thennn, SUPER RICH with the apartment at 58th floor, and and and our vampire's reaction, omg, the ending just makes me crack up so damn hard!! i didn't see that coming, i was so emotional you know!!! @allyn1004 "a little bit of 'Tanuki' in them" hehe I love that. I can't NOT put myself in my characters and still act them out in a convincing way! Just how I gotta write, but I like how all my scripts actually feel like mine.
Mm, mhm his story is so tragic but I wanted to give him some redemption! Or at least show that he's capable of changing and persevering even if he has so much that he regrets. Growth is important! Y'know the ending caught ME off-guard while I was writing it, I was just going and going and smiling at the idea of it because it felt so silly. Some of the comments on the video have definitely given me ideas on how I'd be able to explain it in fun ways as well, it's exciting. If a part three does come, I promise it'll be a fun one.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh this was so good. I was asleep during the premiere but watched this after I woke up. This came out so good Tanuki. My heart went out to this speaker when he was calling himself a monster and also talking about what he missed from before he got turned. I can't imagine how rough things have been for him and I very badly wish to be his friend. He's so sweet and kind and deserves that kindness in return.
If you've decide to keep this a two parter series I completely understand, but I can say I wouldn't say no to another part. I am curious about what the listener's deal is with the whole being extremely rich thing and why they were so calm about the whole speaker being a vampire thing.

aww shy scaredy-cat vampire is my fave. I love this two parter so much. I really enjoyed the ending, and the idea that the vampire is the one who's just doing fine, but isn't ostentatiously wealthy, is such a good break from the stereotype. It's also really nice to see someone who's a vampire, but isn't an "old" vampire.
Really enjoy the characters you come up with, they always feel so alive rather than like a set stereotype and that's a difficult thing to do in an audio only format, so you should be very proud of that.
Also - the piano is always such a soft and gentle sound and I genuinely adore hearing it at the end of videos. paired with the outros it always puts me in a good mood, so thank you for that =)
