Do you think you can get a laptop in that space where the Hydration pack goes? Trying to work out if I can get dual use out of this. I have a bigger CP18L and laptop storage, while there, is a bit of a pain unless you forgo a slip case to protect it.
I just grabbed my 15" MBP and was able to slide it into the hydration compartment. It fits and it isn't too snug. The compartment couldn't fit a laptop that is too much bigger than that, though.
Thanks for watching! I still have the bag and it has held up well. I only use it on my big mountain bike trips (4+ hour rides). I only use a fanny pack for shorter rides. I'm trying to think of some complaints about the bag but nothing comes to mind. It's comfortable, fits a limited amount of camera gear and has held up well to the elements.
@@AustinLiberato Awesome! That’s great to hear, now I feel more assured and confident I made the right purchase. Thanks for the reply after all these years lol.
I don’t own the 70-200 anymore otherwise I would test this for you. The lower camera pack area can hold a lens/camera body combo at a maximum of about 9.5 inches. I do know that the 70-200 lens will fit in the big upper compartment laying sideways. Hope this helps!
good review! I'm thinking about buying this backpack.
Thanks for this review. Let me know if you have found other options!
good review

Hi there, great review! How do you rate the bag now after long term use?
I’m planning to get this myself for short hikes and cycling!
