Young lady, your enthusiasm for the motor sport in genuine! You are absolutely the perfect person for this channel. Well done. The silver and red Testa Rossa, is a replica of serial number 0718, that participated in the 1958 24 hours of Lemans. I knew the gentleman who rescued 718 from the junk heap in Sacramento, around 1970. He paid $1200 for it. His restoration took 12 years. When he was done he took best of class at Pebble Beach, then proceeded to vintage race it for many years. He sold it in the late 1980s. Today , reunited with its original matching engine, it is worth well north of $30 million.
What did it sell for in the 80s? Wonder how it got to Sacramento and junked, thanks for sharing your perspective, she is into it and knew all the nuance on each one
@@GreenCanvasInteriorscape When he bought it , it had a Chevy engine and although running was very rough. The gentleman who owned 718, told me the year before he sold it , that if someone offered him $1M , that he would take it. The deal actually included 4 other cars including a D type, and a Can Am McLaren, plus (as he put it) enough money to put his daughter through college.
Guys I take my hat off! You caught a marvellous idea and grasped a unique niche of unusual scaled replicas! A good starting point for growing kids and grown up men who still stay to be children. I wish your company a great success. Pure artisan in small dimensions. Bravo!👍👍👍👍
Great video! The Little Car Company holds a very special place in our hearts. Spend a day up there on a Scramble and you see their cars pootling around with absolute joy on their driver's faces. We adore the DB5 Junior.
How special is this? Truly wonderful... Jodie, thank you for showcasing the Little Car Company on Kidd in a Sweet Shop. It's incredible to see how this company has managed to capture the essence of classic cars by creating 75% sized works of art that truly reflect the craftsmanship and heritage of Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Bugatti. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the authentic paint to the leather used in these cars. It's a true celebration of engineering and human ingenuity, demonstrating what we can accomplish when we work together toward a higher cause. While some may see them as expensive toys, I believe they are akin to Faberge eggs; beautiful, unique, and a testament to what humans can create. Thank you for recognizing the exhibit's value and sharing it with us. Keep up the excellent work, and I look forward to seeing more fantastic content on your channel! "We capped it, there is a limit to how fast you want to go that close to the ground" I beg to differ kind sir, mach 3 with your hair on fire in a mini type 37......All in, I am 100% all in. These machines are absolutely stellar!
Yet another great video Jodie! Exquisite detail & engineering & what better tribute than the manufacturers being willing to work closely with The Little Car Team! 🙌👏👏👏👏
That was cool, the little kid in was jumping for joy. It would be awesome to have those type of things to race round a track with your mates. I cant wait to see what the future brings. Thanks. All the best to you and your family.....and all the team for their work
At five foot four, I'm a 3/4 scale man, so one of these beauts would fit perfectly! Great creations, amazing talent behind these vehicles, thanks for sharing:)
Thank you Jodie! I've known about the company for a while now. This was very special to see where they are made and speak with the founder of the company!
I expect Jodie is putting in an order for a 125% scale one so that she can get her long legs in. Most of the top drivers in those days were fairly small and light even in the full size cars. Dan Gurney's race cars were always one off or seriously modified. (Remember the GT40 with the helmet bulge?)
The fact that Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Ferrari are all on-board, tells you how good the products from the Little Car Company are. Such an honor. Thank you for featuring this wonderful little company, Jodie. (no pun intended)
I’m surprised no one’s made digital number plates yet. Be useful in certain circumstance when enthusiastic driving meets average speed monitoring devices 😉
Unfortunately he's just moved to France, but there's a guy using military nano technology to create plates that are invisible to cameras. To the naked eye they're normal, to a machine they're plain
Prince (KING) Charles i believe had the first every Bond toy car with most of the gadgets , built... i can still remember seeing it , amongst the Queens children's toy exhibit room when was only 8 years old on a visit to Hampton Court ..amazing scaled classics ...lovely to see ..great work and craftsmen ( and women's) ship ... at the Little car company ... just super !
Absolute works of art , and also tangible proof that Britain still has the craftspeople able to stun the world with what we can do . I really hope they don't build a little orange Muira or I'll have sell an organ or two to have it !!!
I’ve been interested in a Aston Martin for multiple years how fast does the silver 1 go how much money is it and so you know I’d want all the James Bond options available the guns I. The front and smoke screen as well as other options available
What craftsmanship, so pleased it still exists in the UK!
That Ferrari 250 Testarossa is perfect!
☘️
Totally agree
How much for a 100 % scale Ferrari ?
It being electric means it’s not perfect

I don't know what they're for or who can afford them but they are absolutely jewel-like.
Rich little snobby entitled kids of course. Or little people who can afford to purchase one and drive it.
@@BC-kx5zbYour jealousy is showing. Also, generalizing is the easiest way to show ignorance on a topic.
How much?
Bond………half bond

That James Bond Aston Martin is a work of sheer genius and cheekiness🤣🤣🤣
Miniature works of art. So much detail and engineering in a small package, would love to have one
Such a good show. Nothing better getting a notification for a new episode after having a tough day at work. Really enjoyed this episode.
The tyres and wheels make these things look absolutely perfect. Gorgeous.
love they put sound effects to the guns on the aston... so cool

As a gentleman of diminutive stature (5’9” with my mouth fully open), I love this company. Stellar content, good lady.

One of my fav episodes so far. Beautiful little masterpieces!
Would love to see another video showing the stages of production!
Back in the 1960's a little town in Ohio they used to build a 75% Car Called The King Midget a Channel called Cars And Camera's recently rebuilt one
That was cool, the little kid in was jumping for joy.
It would be awesome to have those type of things to race round a track with your mates.
I cant wait to see what the future brings.
Thanks.

you got 40k to drop? in pounds that is
@@godsinbox I haven't got 40 cents to rub together, lol!
I do have a 1"1 scale 68 VW though, and that's good enough!
Thank you Jodie! I've known about the company for a while now. This was very special to see where they are made and speak with the founder of the company!
It looks like the best company in the world to work for. A bit like a Willy Wonka of the auto industry.
literaly a Kidd in a toy shop x amazing !
When I was a kid I always wanted something like this! This is one of the coolest thing I've ever seen hope the company! Great video as well thank you
Gobsmacked! Incredibly cool! I love how the space they’re in looks more like a laboratory than a garage. 🇬🇧✌️Cheers!
Stunning, just stunning. What a fantastic effort!
Now you really have found the sweet shop. Damn, I want one of each! Such little pieces of art. Hope you drive them in the next episode 🙂

I take it then that she can't find clothing to fit?
I love your you tube videos!🎉❤❤😊
Ohhhh Part two Please Jodie.... I want to see you driving one.... And how much??? :-)))) xxxx
Love it, Thanks Jodie for bringing these awesome little cars :)
That IS a Sweet Shop! Fabulous! But, Miss Jodie, you're about 6'15", would you fit in one of these little jewels???
Perfect cars for Richard Hammond 😂
Excellent. Thanks Jodie. ❤️🇮🇪☘️

You're building your dream toy car that you can drive and that just blows my freaking mind. What a cool job
Wonder how many of these AREN'T going to the Middle East....? Absolutely amazing, I've been a huge fan forever of 75% items - like Colt 1911's, etc...
Absolutely amazing
Does someone know what the silver and red colour combination is called on the Ferrari?
Insane!!! Their beautiful. If I could I'd get them to make me a 1954 or 1970 Corvette.
I’m surprised no one’s made digital number plates yet. Be useful in certain circumstance when enthusiastic driving meets average speed monitoring devices 😉

I think the prototype for the small DB5 was made at RML Group Northamptonshire. I was there at the time. Lovely little thing.

Great craftmanship but all the artistry belongs to the original designers.
As a big dude, I'd also appreciate a "Big Car Company"....like 150% scale? I'd love to fit in a Lamborghini😅
Wow the cars are absolutely fantastic love to see more just Beautiful
Pricey but absolutely stunningly Kool
AMAAAAAZING REVIEW & CARS, all the right questions so properly answered
"That's fantastic!" Not as fantastic as seeing gorgeous Jodie looking like a beautiful giantess standing next to those little cars! :)
Such fabulous little cars, thanks so much Jodie ❤
I'd love to see them doing a Blower Bentley.
My gosh my daughter is 3 months old and this could be a nice treat for me I mean for her when she is old enough 😊😊

Incredible workmanship.
These are cars what absolutely no one needs but everyone wants.
Jodie . It's nomally "big boys toys " but l think in this instance it has to be "Kidd in a sweet shop" 🤗🤗🤗🥰
Truly amazing British innovation and engineering at its finest…. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
What a wonderful video. I love this idea. I want one (or two) as well! ☺
Truly amazing work.
Absolutely bloody amazing.

Are they hiring for assemblers? Sign me up haha Nice stuff :)
But you didnt include video of you driving it.
The steering wheel is on the right and peddles look off to the left on the Bugatti?
Do you guys do E-Types?? Would love to see one of those ❤️❤️❤️
Works of art, nice to see that craftsmanship is alive and well, in grey souless world.
That’s some serious talent there.
Amazing Works!
Totally amazing Well Done
8:35 Someone's been shredding, just look at the tire fragments on the side!
Yep, when Ferrari say you can use their badges, you've got it right.
What's the purpose of the large passenger seat bolsters?
Kidd in a Sweetshop indeed - it's definitely a Kidd's car!
Really cool little cars, especially the bond db5
How about a Mercedes 300 SL "gullwing", a Jaguar E-Type or a Porsche 550 Spyder? Congratulations! Excellent job!
Wow. So cool. “Ok now take me to the basement where the full size replicas are” 😉
Should do 60’s and 70’s Mopars
Just amazing I had no idea ! Men and their toys, price doesn't matter, make it a great day, jw
I wonder what tamiya rc car they are going to do?
Fantastic creations.
They better have good locks on their door's! I'm going to steal that Testarossa!
Does that mean they could take a 992 and make it normal sized?
An unusual motor manufacturer, fascinating 😮
Almost 100 years ago the original Bebe Bugatti electric car was introduced in 1927. Great heritage 💙👍💙
