The California Spider all day long. I took my boys to the Technik Museum in Sinsheim, Germany last summer and in there they have the only factory RHD California Spider. I would happily offer up a kidney and an eyeball to take that car home. I recommend a trip to Sinsheim if you find yourself in Germany.
He's so passionate he doesn't let her finish any sentence before he starts talking. For some people that might be considered rude, but for him I just see the joy busting out of him
Max is like a fizzing bottle of car knowledge, you open it and it just explodes as a fountain of knowledge. What a guy and what a line of work to have built and created. Hats off indeed. Well done Jodie, great discussion indeed.
What a truly awesome sweet shop. I’ve heard of Max previously, but didn’t appreciate the extent of his collection or his impeccable taste and infectious passion. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hello Jodie! What a wonderful, live history lesson you - and Max - have given us all.. An amazing garage I'd love to be "locked up" in, with not only cars to drool over but rows of books there to read! Seeing the 'Daytona' convertible reminds me of watching The Gumball Rally at the ABC Cinema as a youngster... It outran the chasing helicopter! At around that time - the mid 70's - there was a local Edgware neighbour who's daily 'smoke' was another beauty in Max's collection; a Maserati Mistral.. although not quite in the same condition. As for "what car I (we) would take for a drive"... Well, a quick "blast" of that 333SP would be a dream come true.. and I'd risk the jail time too!! After reading your "comment" section, it's wonderful to read how much your many viewers, myself included, missed you and your unique work: And having just finished reading about the great Michelle Mouton's victory on the Acropolis Rally from 40+ years ago, the "Kidd in the Sweetshop" notifying me was like.. Manna from Heaven in my books!! Thank you - and Max - so much.
Thank you Jodie and Max for showing us these true remarkable cars each with a history were all jealous about. I do know the previous owner of the Lancia S4 Stradale and for me this is the icon in Max's collection, like the CLK GTR super rare and hard to find. Love how Max is so passionate about all the cars and he all knows from each car the details and facts. I'd love to visit this epic place if that ever would be possible and admire these stunning cars that are there.....
It is always wonderful to see the cars and collections on wheels. Though after watching this, my true respect came from the library! After years of helping in several libraries and being a novice librarian myself, my respect really came from the photo library. Truly impressive and thankful someone is keeping the history.
Wow wow wow! What a collection, what passion for the product! They are the best cars of an era ive ever seen! Amazing to have you back Jodie! Love your content
I love Max. I used to make sure to watch the auctions when he was auctioneer...... he also often popped up in auctions on Chasing Classic Cars......where I first came across Max
Glad your back and what a entrance! I'm drawn to the white C Type Jaaaaaaag. My grandfather owned an XK120 and an XK150 from new and the C Type fits that era nicely.
Jodie's back! I kept complaining to UA-cam that they were blocking my content! Great vid and can't wait for Part 2. Max is living in all of our dream world, but he deserves it. Anyone who would sell his Ferrari Daytona to fund his new business is the man! And what a terrific new facility. I'd pay to work and live there! Thanks!
Great to see you back Jodie I must say your channel is the best car channel on you tube your knowledge is outstanding and the people and places you visit are awesome .fantastic content please don’t leave it so long next time 😂😂
Wow. Wow. Wow. That was an amazing. Thanks for making this video Jodie and Max, and for letting us see these art works, and to learn a bit about them. Mega.
Glad to be back Jodie! Another awesome show. The garage isn’t too bad either. What a dream place. Out in the country. This is my favorite era of cars. Not even remotely interested in modern super cars. Don’t care about their rarity either. They are so wonderfully designed.
What a collection of automotive art, such a wide range … I don’t have a solid number one, but in my top 3 was the one I already spotted on the thumbnail: the Dino 206S. Going shopping in that showroom, I could easily settle with my 2nd, 3rd, … choice. Good to have you back.
Wow, I can't wait to watch this video. One of my favourite dealers and a man who inspired me to pursue my dream of working in this niche. Still haven't achieved the goal, but I'm knocking on the doors and pulling sleeves! Thanks for this Jodie, it's been a while.
My fascination with cars began in Southport at the age of 5. In the early days of motorways there was a stretch of dual carriageway somewhere on the outskirts. Playing with some pals ( 5 yr olds were allowed out back then ), I heard this incredible engine noise and turned around to see what I know to be a 275 GTB accelerating hard away from a set of lights. Goosebumps, beyond logic but it began there.
That road from Chorley to Southport is fantastic. Starts with a mini Eau Rouge, through the villages then the humpback into long high speed curves through the fields and finishing with the dual carriageway. Superb drive, traffic permitting.
Amazing! Great presentation, the library photo image collection was actually the most impressive thing and financially it makes so much sense in that rarified world of car sales, it's like owning the song rights
Just the best. The ultimate Kid in a Sweet Shop! Amazing cars and the passion that goes into everyone of them is so revealing of the perfection that Max Girardo stands for. Well done Jodie for bringing this fabulous collection of cars to us. Thank you.
Glad to see you back. This place is just something else. My pick is the CLK GTR, just this mythic surrounding it. And those glossy green tiles look magnificent. Oh and that archive. Historic archives with documents and pictures most have never seen is just astonishing. A dream job would be to work at something like the Porsche archive.or this. Well done
Brilliant! After watching this I watched Dirtfish interview with the legend Michele Mouton and every still picture that was used in the interview had Girardo and co on it!
That’s JUST a ridiculously good collection, labor of love, the GTO made me gasp, from the car collection to the photo archives, and just the whole atmosphere of the place, I don’t need a vacation if I lived there,is Max open for a volunteer? 😂
I love fantasy vids like this; it's just a wonderful and blessed relief from the utter triteness of stuff like global warming, social justice and the cost of living crisis which weighs so heavily on weaker minds. Everything about this vid is so aspirational. Just another world.
What an anazing collection, I'm so intrigued to see those legendary cars stowed in the showroom and the racing cars that I like the most were the Aston DBR9 alongside the Ferrari 550 GTS 2003 Le Mans class winner, the ultramodern 458 GT2 with the inclusion of Marcus Grönholm's Peugeot 206 WRC.
Yay!! Great to have you back jodie I have so missed your videos .its not been the same.so happy your back with more awesome amazing super car videos and looking around super car showrooms and dealerships .you're the best super car youtuber.great to see you back jodie .looking forward to many more awesome videos and content.from Dan.m🚘🚘🚘🚘🚘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great to see you back Jody. I know I've mentioned it before but if you ever need someone to carry your bags on these visits. . . In how many rooms is the GT2 Porcshe the least intereting car? WHAT!
@@KiddinaSweetShop It's such a unicorn! But I really wish VJM drove it a bit after acquiring it from the Brunei collection. They deserve to be driven! I'm sure the tag of being the only Roadster in RHD means values really wouldn't budge even if it had a few hundred km on the odo.
And about time too Jodie hehe??😆 And your not wrong about our hideous weather in the UK!!🤮 And WOW what a collection of unbelievable cars & the actual old farm isn't looking too bad either is it Another WOW!!!😃 Great watch as usual Jodie!!👌🏻👍🏻
Glad you're back.....I've missed the style, beauty and elegance on this channel. The cars have always been pretty good, too....😁 I'll take the S4 with a bow on top. Fond memories of marshalling the Lombard RAC when all the group B's were competing.
It's good to be back!! Which of the MANY sweets in this collection would you drive home?? 👇👇
I think the Ferrari 250 GTO 🙂, which I think you also covered with Annette Mason a few years ago. Just class.

Delta S4, but the red one. EPIC!
250 GTO.

Funny, I saw it the exact opposite. She doesn't let him finish a sentence. Great video ans passion from them both.
Either way.... too much jibber jabber. I couldn't get through all of it.
She yaps about nothing and doesn't let him talk
Yeah, intent seems to be thrown out the window these days.. lookin to be offended.

Excellent video, he seems like a great enthusiast, didn't mention figures or values too much, just loves the cars
He just LOVES it!
Great video Jodie, this is collection is what dreams are made of it’s only missing a 250 SWB Cali
There's a Cali Spyder next to the CLK GTR!
@@KiddinaSweetShop I know and I love both cars but it has to be the SWB Cali not LWB imo
I like the way Jodie pronounces Patina correctly, not like many who say it the American way. Great video with so many beautiful cars to choose from.
And he says 'coop'.
Dream machines, especially the Ferraris , great content!
Honestly, one of the best videos I think I’ve ever seen. The 250 gt california lwb was the one for me.
So happy your back. Looking fab as usual. The way these cars are displayed is like going to a high end boutique. CLK Roadster suits my lifestyle...
