Day Zero Tauck Tour Grand Alaska Royal Princess Cruise Trip July 2022

This is the first in a series of 17 videos documenting our July 2022, 17 day trip to Alaska. In this video, we prep and travel from Strafford, NH to Anchorage, Alaska. Future videos will document each day in our adventure.
The Tauck Tour parallels the Princess Cruise Alaskan tour and uses the same Princess lodging and Royal Princess ship. While the Tauck Tour is more expensive than the similar Princess Tour, we chose Tauck because the entire trip with Tauck is pre-planned and paid for, including all excursions, lodgings, meals, tips, etc. In addition, Tauck provides a dedicated experienced tour director who oversees all of the trip, provides historical context and makes alternate arrangements for the group if something in the schedule unexpectedly changes. While some people would not like all of the pre-planned activities and would prefer to do their own planning, the Tauck model works best for us. So here we go...
