I want to know how long it takes to show the preview for longer files with graphs and tables. Could you figure out how the tablet works in the upright mode while reading and making notes in pdfs? Thanks a lot!

Is there any way you can test for PWM dimming (pulse width modulation)? If you lower the brightness to its lowest setting and view the screen through a cell or ipod camera (with a high shutter speed), you'll see scrolling bands.

Yes, the TrackPoint can be replaced. I think you can get like 3 for $10
