I like my bluegill, the old-fashioned way, the whole fish minus the head. Fileting a fish that small you're losing a lot of meat. Bluegill and cheese grits for the win !

I use clear bubble bobbers so the fish doesn't get spooked by the bobber with no split shot. I just let the bait naturally float down. I use crickets.

I got caught in a storm on a lake in Kentucky, it was downright frightening. The lightning was popping all around I just headed straight for the bank got out of that aluminum boat

Get a longer rope and tie one end to back of truck and back boat in water until boat comes off then no walking on traailer tongue

Fish and waffles do sound good, I'm gonna have to try it and you know when your fish flowt to the top of your oil they are done. I would have pulled them out just a little sooner than you did so they wouldn't take the chance of getting dried out. Looks good though

I fish through thunderstorms tornado warnings theres nothing to get me off the lake when im on those bluegill bedding or crappie beds. In july i wade in the river and fish for steelhead.

I'll go through anything and everything to get them big fish especially bluegills and crappie. I love the taste of them fish especially when theres a waffle involved lol cause i love waffles to lol. If you take kids nowadays and they had to fish hunt and grow their food like us og's do they would starve to death. These kids don't know anything about our passion and what we love to do. When my daughters and son was 6 months old i started taking them fishing and hunting with me and i got them in the garden to. Their grown now my son has 6 daughters and he's doing what i did with him with his daughters. They love to fish and hunt all the time. My daughters are in college now and they take time off during hunting season to go hunting. I love the fact that i taught them what i know and they love it to. I raised them by myself and they turned out to be great kids.
Bruh did I not hear You say before that You were in The Navy before? What are You doing drinking bug juice? We use to clean deck plates and brass with that stuff so I can't drink kool-aid or any of that stuff after what we used to do with it. The meal looked great tho.😂
I keep the tails and fry them up nice and crunchy. I fry mine in cornmeal and peanut oil is the best oil to use.
