So very sad. I attended in 1992. My cousin Kim and I went together from NY. Our roomate was from Maine and she ended up going home after a couple weeks. I remember the rooms and the main lobby. Thank you for sharing this video.
I attended Southeastern Academy in April-June 1982. SEA6-1. I loved it there, and have so many wonderful memories! It is so sad to see it's gone now. Thanks for sharing, especially the video from your time there. I found my room!
Wow, what great memories SAD to see such an awesome Academy GONE and the entire location in DISPARE! I was there for the full (3) months in 1990 my bestie Cassandra F. and Joy; we all got jobs in the travel industry and it gave me my start in NYC where I remained there for over 30+ years. I loved working at Doral Park Hotel in mid-town and TWA for over a decade. All who graduated from there BLESSINGS and to the Staff and SEA Blessings too!!! THANK YOU TONY EZZO for this brief amazing journey!!!
I appreciated this video. I graduated in 1990, wow. It rook me down memory lane. Reminded me of how hot it was and we had to wear suits almost everyday. I'm currently a retired Persian Gulf Veteran. Thanks and Salute. Btw, the only teacher I remember is Mrs. Prasse.
I went there in 84 and loved it. I'm sad they closed down it really helped me get a job back then before everyone had a college degree. They didn't hand out money for college like they did now.
spent 6 wks there in July/Aug 81, remember when we had to study at home first and mail in tests? I remember my room which I shared with 2 others girl was in the 2's and directly looking at the pool
Attended there Fall of 85. Great times with folks all over the US! It was an awesome 3 months of friendships and partying I will never forget! Peace to all the former grads! Mike Savage AKA GO GO GOMEZ!

I just visited the site and am finishing up my video. Thought it was just an old hotel until I came upon some Academy material. Loved your video. Do you mind if I direct people who watch my video over to yours?
The guy in the suit early in after the young lady walking to the back of the car.. his name is Tony and Jeff and John were in that room with Tony... Jeff went home early because he missed Tina John is holding a notebook out the door!
It's always so sad to see places that were once functional, tended, and loved fall to decay and squalor. So much waste. Many of them could have been used again or saved if not for the savages who break in, steal wiring, spray paint, set fires, and just generally wreak havoc. Sorry you had to see your old school fall to ruin.
Greg and I went to Southeastern in January/Febuary 82 also. Do you have anymore pictures?, We would love to see them. I loved seeing your video, it brought back some really good memories. Thanks:-)
