- My cousin and I walking through the remaining buildings of Parmadale Orphanage Facility. They are going to be tearing this structure down very soon. The cottages next to the building have already been demolished. I believe they will be leaving the main buildings tower structure in place but the rest of it and the other remaining structures will be destroyed for the new park.
I worked thr one summer, . Rite in that building that the pile of mattresses were piled up. . It was the Kitchen, .we prepared and delivered food to the cottages, . We wld back the truck in rite where those mattresses were. . . I lived up in the neighborhood just south of the property.
I was just there running those wooden ramps haha
its a cool area! i wish they kept the clock tower like promised but the people running this town are a bunch of shady cats unfortunately
I "lived" in Parmadale for 2 years. I can honestly say it turned my life around simply because my home life was far worse than this place.

Yes the police are here a lot now. An uniformed officer in undercover pickup truck caught me here once trying to make a new drone video. He was cool tho just gave me warning not to come back and stuff. When I made these videos it was a lot less hot then it is now

It wasn't an orphanage tho. . It was a home for troubled youth. . Like a DH for Kids with problems.
It used to be an orphanage when it was created until the liberals legalized abortion and the supply of orphans dried up. After that they converted to serving the troubled youth for the last 4 or so decades of its existence

@@AlexanderSimic Some advice… when you do old schools, check out and record the items on the walls. Slower your movement of the camera.
I was a teacher at Parmadale for one year, ‘75. Your video was very interesting.
Thanks for the advice, I wish it was still there to film some more but now just has the roads left and one of the cottages being used as a drug rehab area. Still go there once in a while with my dog, very interesting area with a dark aura to it
