Absolutely horrible all this hard work on the ducati panigale v4 to choose a 2025 panigale v4 that not everyone has heard about or proven on the road with most of your followers.
Having a hard time comprehending this. We've ridden the 2025, it is a great step forward. Especially on comfort levels, which is a huge positive for a road bike. It has not lost any of the great character of the 2024 V4 models.

The only Fireblade you can purchase in USA costs $29K. The S1000RR starts from $20K, the V4 starts from 25K. Judging by the sales figures, the actual consumer also agrees with us, as there are far more V4's and S1000's sold than the Fireblade.

Maybe it's just me but much of the industry (e.g., magazines) don't seem to include value/price as part of the criteria which seems odd because it's an objective measure.

Basing the Best Superbike test on which Superbike you'd pick to ride to the coffee shop is the antithesis of why one would buy a superbike. The test should be "which one would you pick to do a track day." That said, the answer is probably the same...I'd likely pick the 2025 Panigale V4S to go to the track. So, wrong test but correct answer. That's my $0.02.
99% of buyers of these Superbike's use it on the road. Just like the 99% of Ferrari's and other super competent exotic cars. Also not our place to chose the best on their track behavior, we also street ride 99% of the time.

Mr Solo, if the bike is sold and delivered in 2024, it does qualify to be in the 2024 award. It would have been the same for any other bike that was labelled as 2025 but was available to be purchased and delivered in 2024.
A hypernaked shootout without including a 1290 SDR is not a hypernaked shootout, but the Tuono is still the winner (my opinion) and I have both. My SDR is my touring bike and the Tuono 1100 factory is for everything else.
A 1290 is the out dated model. The 1390 is the newer model. 1290 would never be considered for 2024. Go ride it, buy it, own it, live with it then revisit your comment. We have had just about every bike we have mentioned in this video. Panigale V4 has one of the highest reliability ratings of all modern superbikes. The only Superbike in the top 10 list of sold motorcycles in USA for 2024.
