My favourite asymmetrical style game was a last stand/city defence. Both players started with 2000pts, but every time the attacking army lost a unit it could be set back up at the start of the next turn. The game ended when the defenders were all dead. The defender scoring 1 campaign point for every turn they lasted.
When you brought up the old Generals Handbook I audibly went, “oh, that old book!” Looking over to my shelf. I always thought it was a nice open ended campaign system I’m glad to see it be even more accessible for any game system you want!

I was about to start a Path to Glory campaign with some friends. This is an amazing resource! Thank you!
The very first General Handbook. Damn, that bring me back.
This is awesome. Very simple flexible template. Have literally been trying to create a more narrative structure for my Kill Team campaigns.
You’re always so helpful, thanks for stuff like this :)
Hoping to use this with my Infinity group. Been looking for more depth for the skirmishes we've been doing.
So what happens if the Bonesplitterz win surround the horde? Does it go back to Line in the Sand?
This template would be fun for warcry
Google Sheets IS a spreadsheet!
what the hell was that :((
