PFoZ is an international internet based Led Zeppelin tribute band. We record and film our own versions of Led Zeppelin songs and post them to UA-cam for entertainment and educational purposes. Special guests include Professor Obs-Tweedle, keyboardists, the occasional rock star, and of course Nola and Zuzu.
We are:
Ivan Jakic - Guitar
George Fludas - Drums
Pete Etxenike - Bass
Not to be confused with The Zeppelin People's Front.
Like the harmonica substitute.
Mr. Fludas and company keeping music alive from the best band that ever lived. Those Paiste 2002's sound extra crispy here. Boost up the level on the toms a bit and it's a cut boys. Amazing
I know I’m gonna get killed for this but I’m in no hurry for these guys to get a singer, you watch two hrs of any Led Zeppelin footage on UA-cam and you might see two minutes of John Bonham and even less of JPJ. I think it’s kind of cool to see what’s going on with the instruments, especially these guys they are marvelous.
Lynda White...I agree. They are excellent even without a vocalist.
Thanks Lynda, I actually feel like we have hit on something by doing instrumental versions because without vocals, the individual parts really pop. We are still open to having a vocalist, but I'm really enjoying the fact that the focus is on the musical content. The vocals really do obscure a lot of what's happening within the group unless you really pay close attention... and with a band like Zeppelin, the musical parts are so important and layered.
BONZOLOGY with Terry & George I’m so glad I didn’t get in trouble for my two cents LOl but I agree the musicianship is so important to Led Zeppelin and the way you guys represent that is just amazing and we are all thrilled to get a 100 percent accurate view of what’s going on behind the senes. Thank you PFOZ and Bonzology.
I have seen many zep tribute bands in my day and I must say that out of all of them this is the first and only group to get it right. The attention to detail is what sets them apart. They may not be Led Zeppelin but they are as close a facsimile that you're likely to get. My request is to see them recreate OTHAFA from June 23rd 1977. For my money the best version ever recorded.
juxtiphi I concur 100 percent with everything you said, keeping my fingers crossed let’s see what happens next.
I'd pay top dollar to see this lot live
Woahhhhh guys this cover is incredible.
And the harmonic song you've done with a guitar and the pedals?
I have no words bro.
Thank you so much from Brazil. Muito obrigado!!
ah, i did not want that to end!
Love to see you guys do Sick Again but with the Rover Intro Live 77 Style
Stay tuned! 👍🏼😏
this is a song that takes a building in a manner in which our fore fathers were very use too. Eye Thank Que
DIYBIKEGUY I can’t believe you remembered that, I thought I was the only one geekie enough to remember that after 40 years. Lol
Our Fore Fathers......great name for a band right there.........Baaaaaash !!!!
That is awesome! I'd love to hear PFoZ do the Rover. Excellent drum track and one of my top 10 Page studio solos.
It's done for a while, we will post it at some point soon. Thanks !

Vermont Prepper thanks!
Vermont Prepper thanks!
Incredible production on this, and all your other Zep recordings. Hard to distinguish from the original. Well done. Keep them coming...
Thanks very much!
What guitar effects module are you using that replicates Pages' sound so well? I can't get close with my Les Paul :-(
@@rhydianharris What are you using? I used a phaser for the intro. Most probably a Marshall with a treble boost in front for the rest.
@@PeoplesFrontofZeppelin Please consider showing these videos with a split screen with 4 images option. I watch on my big screen in my living room, so it'll be okay.
Killer bruthas!
Maybe most people don't watch to the end of the video, but if you do, you get to hear my vocals! I'm surprised there haven't been more comments about this! LOL.😏
Just, fucking WOW
Bruno Cáceres León Thanks for watching!
People’s Front of Zeppelin, well, Zeppelin’s my favourite band, so I will stick to this channel, not only for zeppelin, also because you play reeeeaaaaally gooooood, I’m amazed, and I was looking for content like this for a long time
@@bruno-nw9qm Thank you!
My God ,this is in fucking credible
Thank you!
This sounds exactly like the live version of the track where john bonham is playing the chrome kit ( the best sounding kit of them all) his drumming style had changed quite a lot from his earlier stuff. More funky but with some earth shattering fills. I think he also sat higher at the kit. He seemed more solid and his fills had more ooomfff some how but he’d definitely evolved from the wild man of the 70s to more of a god of thunder
Put de lime in de coconut
brilliant ....and yeah harmonica guitar : ) Ive got to get me an 8 string bass , sounds gr8 : )
Steve McLaughlin thanks!
I hope you guys are cooking up a hybrid version of Over the Hills. That could get interesting......
Coming soon! 😏
I used to do this with a former band in similar fashion. Guitar solo in place of harmonica solo. It was awesome! Do I spy a Camco pedal there George? Great Cover Gents!
This is too bad ass to be bad ass!🤘🏻🥁
George isn't fooling anyone! Just like Elvis, i know George is John Bonham. #Bonzo is still alive - i knew it.🤘🏻🥁❤
Kurwa, ja pierdole. To jest po prostu zajebiste!..
there is nothing to compare this to unless its something else they do
SWEET MERCIFUL F++K
Killer fucking guitar playing man. George...amazing...always. Pete, ya' got ugly hands but the playing and sound is spot on
Im seriously digging PFoZ and am getting excited about what the next songs u guys approach will be.
I am totally tuned in...
Thank you!
Totally bad-ass!
#Bonzo
Excellent! One question, doesn't the end of the verse end as a G/A instead of an A?
Awesome. One thing. You're missing the low g under the a at the end of the phrase. 😎
Excellent! I love what you guys did in place of the harmonica.
I'm trying to figure out which live version of NFBM this resembles, or if it's a mixture of some shows.
I'm in awe of this! I know that I say that every time I comment on these vids, but I truly mean it!
Thanks! Sort of a stylistic hybrid between live and studio.
Hi, Are you guys using a Kemper profiler for the guitars? Cheers.
Line 6 Helix
"Led Zeppelin? Yeah... he's good."
Find Tortelvis from Dread Zeppelin. He can really sing...
In my version the click-track isn't muted. Weird.
What click track? There is no click...maybe you're hearing hi-hats?
Petition for George as lead vocalist.
👍🏼😂
I think here you should’ve included the chord page uses in the live versions where he just plays the G on the E string and the A on the G string and leaves every other string open. Very good cover tho.
sam C____ Hi Sam, Ivan hits the GSus2 after the harmonica solo. Thanks for watching!
People’s Front of Zeppelin ahh thanks didn’t watch that far. Also never knew what that chord was actually called. Page used it quite a bit.
The harmonica swap here is inspired. Almost prefer it to the real thing. And since finding your channel, I seem inexorably drawn to eBay and a search for a bass. Not bad considering I’ve loved Zeppelin for 20 years, and haven’t played ANY instrument for 25. Just hope I find another channel or you’re going to cost me money I don’t have!! 🤣😂
Rod Stone ha, nice! You can get a decent bass for not that much.
Love your versions! However...the intro riff is slightly wrong. A lot of people play what you’re playing. However JP always plays the minor third (g natural) in bar three of the riff, switching to the major third only for the last bar.
I never could understand why Zeppelin didn't use a flanger for the intro for the live version of this track - Page used a Phase Shifter live instead - maybe a pedal wasn't available at the time. They just don't sound the same. It is unquestionably a flanger being used in the studio. An elecro-hamonix electric mistress could have easily done the job live. Nice job on the track though...
charlesdbruce thanks for watching! There must have been flangers in 77, EVH was sure using one.
I shit my pants
WOW..Awesome....disagree with some subscribers...no vocals please...No one comes close to Robert.
Hey George - when you are setting the levels, please use a computer to check the mix. Bass drum is practically non-existent in this one.
mix tends to be a bit guitar dominated...
