Lyrics:
Baby, baby
I'm taken with the notion
To love you with the sweetest of devotion
Baby, baby
My tender love will flow from
The bluest sky to the deepest ocean
Stop for a minute
Baby I'm so glad you're mine, yeah
You're mine
Baby, baby
The stars are shining for you
And just like me I'm sure that they adore you
Baby, baby
Go walking through the forest
The birds above a' singing you a chorus
Stop for a minute
Baby they're so glad you're mine, oh yeah
And ever since the day you put my heart in motion
Baby I realize that there's just no getting over you
Baby, baby
In any kind of weather
I'm here for you always and forever
Baby, baby
No muscle man could sever
My love for you is true and it will never
Stop for a minute
Baby I'm so glad you're mine
And ever since the day you put my heart in motion
Baby I realize that there's just no getting over you
And ever since the day you put my heart in motion
Baby I realize that there's just no getting over you
Over you
Baby, baby
Always and forever
Baby I'm so glad that
Here for you baby
So glad you're mine
Baby I'm so glad that
When I think about you it makes me smile
Baby, baby be mine
Baby, I'm so glad that
Don't stop giving love
Don't stop, no
Baby I'm so glad that you're mine
Baby I'm so glad
Baby I'm so glad that
When I think about you it makes me smile

Growing up in the 90s was really a blessing. This is a classic
Yes I’m 39 and remember hearing this hit always on the radio singing along not a care in the world 😂
80s and EARLY 90s.
Late 90s sucked. It started to become evil, satanic, and depressing.
80s as well
@@user-wk8mw6to2gThat's wrong in my opinion, the late 90s were also the best of times. Up until the mid 2010s where things started to get worse.
I totally disagree. The mid 1990's was when things in America started to get really dark and depressive culturally, socially, and economically. The music quality fell off significantly and the music being put out had dark, depressive, evil vibes. The current opioid crisis and mass shootings also started way back in the late 90's. Again... for me 1980's to EARLY 1990's (1990 - 1993) was one of the best eras of America. But your entitled to your opinion. I just respectfully disagree.@@quanashiab.9620
Nothing can ever top growing up listening to the 80's and 90's music
70s bud no comparison
Depends on the person. I grew up in the 80s, but most people older I spoke to about which era they preferred, they said the 80s. t@@armandoserna2128
@@armandoserna2128 80s is the best. Better than both 70s and 90s.
70's trumps them all!
Me either!!
What a time to be alive.
Loved life as a teen and my family until social media brought us hate.
This is so light and uplifting.
If you grew up in the 90s you know this song well. What a jam! 🙌🏾
Oh my goodness what a beautiful story thank you for sharing that so much with me your mother was beautiful just as you are and I they're just not in the fridge right now my father just passed away so I feel your pain and my heart goes out to you thank you so much

Nice song from AMY !
Cant believe Amy Grant is 60 now, wow!
These two have the cutest chemistry 😅
Hello Vivian.. how are you doing?
Just reached 50. Iim not ashamed to say my musical tastes can span the Universe. I could as easily be in the the mood to listen to this, or Public Enemy, Nirvana, Miles Davis, The Rolling Stones or Marvin Gaye. Music is a God given joy. 🙏🏿
I’m a 34 year old black guy that loves this song!
Ronald, glad to know you like this song. It's a good song.
& why shouldn't you? It shows you have great taste. ♥️
Love hearing that. Music most certainly does not discriminate my friend. God bless
What has age got to do with it Ronald. I'm 50 years old.Ronald..I feel like I am discriminated Ronald? ;-) haha....From The Netherlands, Merry Christmas Ronald! ;-)
You good honey 👍. I like this song too.
My mom dedicated this song to me. She told me that when she got in the car after leaving the hospital and finding out she was pregnant with me, this was the song playing on the radio. She would sing it all the time throughout my childhood. She was my world. The most amazing woman I've ever know. It broke me when she passed away in 2009 when I was 16. Hearing this song though... It helps. Ill never stop missing her and ill always be her baby.
beautiful and sad. God is with her (your precious mom )
Oww..i send you lots of hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗
So sad god with u
What a sweet story. I am so sorry to hear you lost your mom. I’ve lost mine back in 2002 and it has left this huge hole in my soul. God bless and keep you.
Your mom is in Heaven. God bless you. I'm a guy, but I sang this song when my son was born in 2003.
This song has had me in a chokehold all of my life. I'm 39 now and every now and then this will pop right back in my head. This song is just a perfect storm.
me too
I'm 57 and it does the same with me
Pretty much the reason I came here. It'll invade every once in a while just to reassert dominance.
❤😂😂 it is isn't it, I never stopped listening to it. It's like happiness in a song, just play it and happiness comes..
I feel this, born in 84’ 😎
No surgery, no Auto-Tune, no cussing, no one is naked, simple plain music The Good Old Days
Yeah very simple times...
We truly had real music back then in the 80s & 90s
Not true, Amy is showing way too much ankle, this very inappropriate HAHA!!!
You know what's crazy is that no one remembers the new music.
ha, didn't stop my 6th grade teacher at my christian school condemning this song for being unchristian
39 year old black girl from the hood! 🤷🏽♀️ Mama loved her some Amy Grant and I do too! (Chicago, Phil Collins Peter Cetera solos, and the list goes on). 😉 Sitting here singing this to our 9 week old twins. Smiles all around and rave reviews! Baby...80s are better...but any grant is a superior creature...in every way
My own personal opinion the 80s as well
it's odd what you can say the same about any decade before, but not after. maybe Y2K really did happen.
@@arefriendsaseptic shut up !!!!!/ you are old!!!!/ etc......
This song came out out 30 years ago and still sounds as fresh as it did when it was released.
Yep. Def holds up!. Excellent production.
Gas was under $1. Social media didn't run people lives. We were much happier and full of love. Great times!
Actually in 1991 gas was over $1 a gallon in large part due to supply interruptions due to the invasion of Kuwait(pre desert storm)
I was 14 when this beautiful song was released. Never stopped loving it! Thank you Amy!
She was the first female Christian singer to score a hit #1 with her crossover “Baby Baby” a song that she actually wrote for her first baby❤️🙏
Actually the song was inspired by her second child, daughter Gloria Mills Chapman (Millie). Amy’s first child was a boy, son Matthew Chapman.
She was crossing over...I was having bottles thrown at me in SF's Tenderloin as I preached the Gospel!
"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."
Hebrews 12:14!
"For it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:16!
I couldn't afford any confusion. I absolutely KNOW who the enemy is!
JESUS IS RETURNING SOON!
ST JOHN 3:16! ❤️
HALLELUJAH! ✝️❤️✝️
Excuse me this person was Married to Gary Chapman both couples were friends. Now, Grant and Gill Divorced and Married. Strange timing you can't have it one way then the other. Read what Chapman said. Now you bring up Scripture? Sorry that dog don't hunt. Clean thy self up . That is like Reba who actually got her Husband through buying him from his Wife then that man divorced her. We as People got to stand for something or fall for anything. Let's embrace right and keep the Sabbath give God the Glory and call out who is wrong don't just go along. Prayers for all. These kids wouldn't even know who Amy Grant is. Like I was on a Linda Ronstadt kick the other day at work and this kid came in about the same age as me (27), and they didn't know who the hell it was. Like really. Who are the parents and why are they FAILING these kids?!

@Amy Grant I reckon I don't mind
This video has early 90s written all over it. So wholesome! I also love the first couple shots: the first one with Amy in her hat and then her dancing kinda like a dork in the second one, makes her all the more endearing
Amy Grant has the voice of an Angel and listen to this song all the time to lift me up. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
Even the lighting in the video is amazing. I want to go back so bad. Leave this friggin nightmare that is reality today

Amy has such a charming lovable demeanor! I'm so glad to have grown up to this music.
The chemistry between these two in the video and the other is what I want on life! ❤
Ah yes, back when music used to excite me. Sometimes I regret that I'm 40 now, but if I were younger, then I wouldn't have grown up with such great music.
Me, I'll be almost 25 next month, and I'm already regretting having to live in an era where there are crappy musicians : Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and all of the rest of the sorry excuses for artists.
Ariana Grande is a douche bag, claiming this song for herself. Amy Grant is one of the BEST ARTISTS on my list!
I am 55 and feel the same way about 1960's and 1970's music.
Mackenzie Ferry Amen to that. Amy co wrote this song in 1991 and released as a single and on her album in 1991.
Hey I'm 33 and I used to hear this on the bus and driving around with my mother all the time when I was 10. And boy does time fly, listening to this remind's me of all the thing's I used to do in those day's.
Yes, we are most fortunate to have grown up when artists performed music with good melodies, good lyrics, genuine up lifting emotions and vocal talent.
These days are the dark ages for the kids growing up and they will never relive their Gaga, Bieber, current top 40 corporate created soulless depressing decadent pop singers with electronically altered voices in 5, 10, 20 years.
I for one will continue to listen to the good music that I grew up on till my twilight years. Nothing comes close to the positive vibe in the late 80s, early 90s music.
She was so rad cute here!
I'm friends with anyone who loves their mom. My mother is slowly fading. I'm trying to spend as much time with her as possible before it's too late. This song was always playing in the car when she would drive me to school. When I was young, this song this song seemed to be always playing in the car when she would drive me to school. It reminds me how much she did for me while I was growing up. I guess that's what songs are for. Love you mom.
Much love to you and your Mother 💙

I go back to "Find a Way" in 1985, Amy's first tentative steps into pop music after making her mark as a teenager in Christian music circles. Always liked her songs, and she kind of struggled in pop until she met up with Keith Thomas, who worked on her best records. Vince Gill, you are still one of the luckiest, and most deserving, dudes on the planet, though it's not you in the video!

I'm also 35 now and feel exactly as you do Levi Bond 🙂 this song is timeless
I know! It's a bit weird hearing it on the radio at work. Weird as in "I remember this but what's the context?" This and Steve Winwood--"Higher Love."
@@Shamyrl This is awesome! I’m glad you can relate! ☺️
@@imme4416 And another one! I’m glad you understand! This song makes me feel soooooooo good! It’s a classic and such a upbeat song! 😇
I'm absolutely In love with 80s and 90s music
Heather Tillett where you born in the 80s or 90s or milluinuim? Well I was born in the late 80s I grew up with 90s music. Such a great mix of authentic music, rhythm & songs. Everything was better in the 90s. We were blessed ❤ we love you 90s 😙
Heather Tillett bingo
I wish I was back in the 80s.
80s and 90s had real music and now we got crap like Bieber hurting our ears

My favorite part is 2:23, that little instrumental part is amazing.
Wow this brings back so many memories. I love it! I feel extremely blessed to have been born in 1978, I got to grow up when the world still seemed so innocent.
I hope Jesus comes and gets us soon.
