Im blown away how good game looks, im using the rog ally with z1 xtreme, and even with out frame generation it looks amd plays amazing dont mind it hoovers on the 50s fps my eyes dont really see a difference in a small screen
You can go ultra settings on everything as long as you only choose low ray tracing. As long as you DO NOT ENABLE lighting or Path, the performance is actually amazing
It's crazy that PS4 is just 11 years old. The game is barely able to run on it after all the updates at 30fps. 12 years later you can play 3 hours on mobile gaming console with 60fps hard capped and ultra graphic settings. It's going to be crazy in 2030 with sequel and them fine tuning stuff like loading areas, police chases, combat, more bosses etc...
well, certainly those aren't ultra settings, but besides that: you are totally right. it's crazy what current handhelds are capable of - especially the ally x! and all of us have high hopes for the next upcoming Z2 chip. so yeah...let's see where we are heading towards to!
somebody in the internet in the gaming committee had a code for FSR 3.1 which I got but then Windows did an update and took it out I had it in already and Armory crate for the Rog AllyFSR3.1
i know, especially considering the fact that 3.1 is already fully out and they could have just skipped 3. theres mods coming out that will implement real FSR 3.1
@@isaiahwolf666 you can run turbo mode. Thats just 25w handheld and 30w plugged in. I always specify in the video what I am testing and overlay shows wattage.
Hey, I downloaded Cyberpunk on my rog ally x but it says your drivers are out of date when to start the game. I've checked and updated everything but it still somehow shows "your drivers are out of date" prompt. Is there any way to fix this
With the additional ram, newer drivers, vrr screen and better cooling the Ally X performance is slightly better but this game is older and doesn’t rly need the additional ram and stuff and with ingame frame generation both the Legion Go and Ally X are great options. I wouldn’t base such a decision on what handheld to have based off one game tho or its performance. Theres to many other factors to consider. The devices are drastically different.
@kyber6632 Got the solution. Reduce your screen size to 900p before launching the game. The shortcut to reduce the Ally scren size is in your amory settings where you choose your power profile. You can get there with the button opposite the armory crate button.
While geforce now is a fine option for home use, the main point of a handheld is to play on the go - you aren't getting 4k 120 over geforce now on the go. Also, latency will be better no matter what. Also, I wouldnt call 80FPS on a smaller screen "trying to play". Its absolutely playable.

Game has come a long way and rly runs great in so much hardware

Yesterday I got my Asus Rog Ally X and I play Cyberpunk on Turbo and 45 FPS and it was smooth.
Congrats on the Ally X. I love the device
How long the battery last?
FrameGen won’t allow full screen. When I do window mode and select 900p, I get a mini screen and nothing to fill my screen up.
same problem here. still looking for a solution.

This is magic.
My Ally X sits at around 40-60 fps with all of your settings and amds frame generation 3.0… what am I doing wrong?
The fact that its 3.0 and not 3.1 is wild fuck em

Do you run turbo operating mode? What are the settings within crate software?

Same
Seems like it slowed my game down, it was weird. 2.1 works better to me
Odd. But hey do what works lol.
Which one is better legion go or ally X for this game

Does FG create input lag?
yes.
Help when running 900p on windows borderless it doesnt fill the screen.
I have the same issue 😢

how is bro using frame gen when it literally says it only works with a 40 series card? does FSR 3 allow for this?
@@jfrench0879 yes it does. Many games allow ingame frame gen with fsr or xess. Depends on what the devs put in the game.
@@GameTechPlanet so the mention of the 40 series is just general flavor text then?
@jfrench0879 that's for nvidia DLSS.
I'd rather play at 30 fps than with such a jagged and blurry image on FSR
Better use gaming cloud ( Geforce now ) than trying to play with the bad hardware.. I get 120 fps at 4k on this display with good internet.
Yea I use GFN everyday its great

what's your concern with what he chooses to play on? some people are just sad.
No thanks.. my ally X does the job
@@ThienNguyen-k1m no use Geforce now, Ally X cant max out graphic with 120fps.. cloud can and will drain 3x slower your battrry. Wake up dude
