Very informative and balanced. I’m Jamaican, living in the diaspora, born in Trench Town but our family moved to another area when I was a baby. I have never been back there and left Jamaica 59 years ago. I have visited Jamaica numerous times but never Trench Town. I will try and visit next time I’m in Jamaica but will no doubt be warned about the possibility of violence by my family.
Been a fan since Covid and this brother finally came to our country. 🇯🇲 ❤

I am so proud of my Jamaicans.the way in which they answered and explain them self.
As a Jamaican, it was nice to see Jamaica painted in a positive light. Thank you!
Yet people are leaving there. Jamaicans need to kick out all invaders. They outnumber them 10 to 1.
@TheIndependentCollective your not jamaican your African Ancestors were taken there..

This was such a great video. I'm so glad you made this. I just so happened to stumble across it too. As a young black American from the DC area I'd like to visit Jamaica one of these days. Big ups to you my friend.
I'm from Portland, and I'm from the most peaceful and beautiful parish on the island. ❤🇯🇲
Welcome to Jamaica Tayo Aina, help us tell our story to the world. We are coining a phrase as of today. Jamaica, the Afrikan Outpost Of the World. 🇯🇲
LOVe it❤🎉❤🎉❤
Tayo never disappoints.
Who else agrees???
He definitely brings his own flavor! One love❤️
not me
Africa needs to freaking WAKEEEEE UPPPPP. We are amazing in every way
LOL.. You keep electing Black people to run your country.. that is why 99% of African countries are in disrepair. I am being honest and truthful and it will hurt you. But Black people is too much about Power and Greed.. Unless they are poor but when they get some money they think Greed.
Why you have to have some attachment. Jamaican is Jamaican. Why u still stuck on the 500 years ago history. Africa is beautiful but the vid is about Jamaica. Save them comment for when he touring Gambia, Ghana , Kenya etc. Africans always got to remind everyone like they feel left out cos we get so much love

Tayo I've been waiting for you to drop this. I know you would bring your amazing editing , drone and journalistic approach to the finished product. One love my brother Tayo!
Thank you. I guess im a journalistic now 😅. Im Glad you loved it
@TayoAinaFilms love all your work, but this was dear to my heart because that's my birth land. That said, you are indeed a journalist as you reported facts as they actually were on the ground, in your view. Other than the 'Bombo****t' after eating jerk chicken, your journalistic credit is definitely in order..lol
I'm a Jamaican born and raised in Kingston until the age of 11 i now live in Toronto Canada but I'll always be a Jamaican. I still remember going to Coronation market with my aunt as a young boy, glad to see it's still around.
Tayo I been so busy the past couple of months didn't get a chance to see this video until tonight. I've always watched your videos and love them you are one of my fave UA-camrs. I am Jamaican and to see you visit my country and go to places that you would be cautioned not to visit warms my heart. I cried a few times watching the video. That lady who stopped you because of your accent was genuine that is how we are as Jamaicans. We are one of the sweetest people you can ever meet on this planet. Few days was just not enough. we have 14 parishes and every parish is unique with it's own version of patwah mixed with English and parish customs. Kingston is beautiful next time make sure you visit the waterfalls which can be found in St Ann Portland and St Andrew. Thanks again for showcasing our beautiful Island and it's people. We are praying that God heals our land from crime and violence. Love from Jamaica.

Watching this after Tyler Olivera's video and you clearly see the power of STORYTELLING!!!! Africans need to continue to tell thier on side of the story. Good Job TAYO!
Tyler’s video was clear sensationalism and negative stereotyping. He always portrays black people in a negative light and would do anything for clicks and views.
Tayo you are definitely like one of the guys I grew up with in Jamaica. Hello young cousin! 🇯🇲🇳🇬
*_Inspirational video! Thanks for sharing, AJ_* 🌟
I’m from the states but I’ve gone to Jamaica since I was a child. My step dad was Jamaican. Anyone who plans to visit jam rock I tell you this. The love is insane especially for my brothers and sisters, they say it’s the most beautiful place in the world. I’m convinced I will live there when I can make money online to sustain because it felt like home truly.
Tayo Aina is the perfect bubbly personality to make these videos. I don’t think there’s a better person on UA-cam for this. Great work!

Maybe instead of blaming the government Jamaican people should help themselves too. Music can feed just few of them.
Thank you for making this video!! I’m Jamaican and just came back yesterday from there. The amount of people that were worried for my safety was funny. I had to tell them the crime in the US is 10 times worse!! I had a blast and can’t wait to go back home!

24:03 This Stone is amazing to be in Jamaica. And Poignant to be with the People. You can tell, Jamaican's ALL have a respect, love and connection with home-base. And it is just 'fitting' that this stone be there as it is and represent "Alkebulan" (Africa) so tangibly, also being the Continent herself, is just NOT very close. So as the WE flow through the veins of the Earth. As the Elders did for thousands of years. It's an Energy a Spirit (not visible to the eye) is an absolute "VIBE" to see in motion.
BTW .. O' Girl in the Thumbnail .. is "MAAD-BAD" dude! Good looking out! Can't imagine how you made it through man Jamaica .. Maddening! Too BAD for me. But she BAD. Mad THINGS!
