I leaned the game while doing time, it helped me evolve into a better person; the game can be compared to our life; the game we play to survive, its a gangsters game or a game of life. Every day we make moves that effect things around us which in turn effect the out come of our lives. Chess develops your mind, it makes it sharp, stronger and so on. In prison it helps many to develop their minds, keeping it occupied. If you never have played it I would recommend you learn this beautiful game of life, you will love it and will never stop playing it.
Word brother word..it helped me not go crazy. I started getting good too.. I ran out of guys who could beat me..for the most part. But yeah it helped me get threw
@@21rstImporter Don't know, I was there a year ago, in the summer, and he was there. Though, it did seem like he was there often, from talking w/ him, etc.
I used to play with a fellow computer repairman in our shop after hours. I think the kid had a genius IQ and I rarely beat him. Playing seasoned chess players is very hard. But great fun too.
Anyone else finds it dangerous to play rugby/American football in such a crowded area with people sitting for chess? What if the ball hits right at the back of a chess player.
Lol im 38yrs old and i still don't know know how to play this game. Ive asked people but nobody has ever had the time or patience to show me. So i just chalk it up to being a bullshit game anyway
My 9 year old son played with him today. He taught my son so many aspects of the game in such a short period of time. An incredible experience.
We need more people like him. So good that he teaches youngsters the game.
A wonderful way to invest in our youth! Outstanding bro!
