Just joined. I think the jars are cool and have some unusual and unique finds. Some of your viewers are so judgmental and negative though. I will never understand why people feel the need to criticize how others spend their hard earned money. It's really nobody else's business. Why come here if they only plan to complain. It was disheartening and annoying reading comments on this an another jar reveal. I just want to say thank you for sharing your unjarrings with us. I thoroughly enjoy them. Don't let the negativity dissuade you. Keep doing you. There are those of us who appreciate it. ❤️
Terri Boyd thank you so much, I think I am in a very comfortable place were I don't mind what other's say or think. They can say what they think but is how we respond to others that really matters. Thank you for stoping by 😄 xoxox
Makeup_Zombie Yes you're absolutely right and I can tell by your replies to them that you have a warm, caring and joyful heart. Thanks again for sharing and replying. Have a great rest of the week.
One silly but effective way to know if a Crystal or stone are real is by placing them close to your cheek and if they feel cold they most likely are real.
That tower-like pendant with the dark stones that you showed about 2/3 of the way through is a slide pendant. The chain goes through the side openings at or near the top.
Rose the ladder was an awesome find was 14k 😄 Bravo! My fav was the crysatal heart with the footsteps. Ty Rose I have been takeing good care of myself is a slow recovery but we are getting there xoxoxo
Major treasures!! You really should get a tester! It is sad that valuable things get donated...what happens often, is when people pass, loved ones donate the bulk of things as it is hard emotionally to go through so many things. So often, there really are valuables...and I think you found some
You can use a magnet to determine if an item is gold or silver. Often as well though costume pieces...like vintage Avon for example can be worth quite a bit as well. Fun video! I wish our Goodwill did this.
Check the back of the lion buckle, it might be a early piece by Ann Klein and very collectable. Just an FYI: 100 yrs and older are antiques and mid to late 1800's are Victorian items. 50 yrs to 100 years are vintage typically with 50 years to the end of the Century collectables. New year and older are contemporary jewelry and will sell if still in style or by designers that are well known.
Thank you! I open it with the help of 2 people it was hard lol, but when we did we found a tiny watch pretty cool. xoxoxo stay blessed and have an awesome week
Found your channel....liked....watched several of your videos...gave thumbs up on all so far...subscribed, yay! First) Heart attack!? I hope you are feeling better, please, please never forget the meds and take care of yourself, I will say a prayer for you. Second) Thank you for being so sweet to us cancer survivors (9 years, this year for me), I appreciate that so much. Third) You sound so much like my cousins (most of them, ha, ha), it's crazy. Fourth) Your love of snowflakes tickles me, I wish I could send you many real ones from here - Nebraska. Finally, Thank you so much for sharing and God Bless!!!
Very interesting finds, you should also show us noisy people how all your jewelry looks l im ke after you untangled them...or if you find some gold, silver, real stones, another fact is the second time I'm watching your videos while watching my X-Files shows!! Kind of funny paradox a mystery jar and a TV series.
Do the magnet test: run a magnet over the jewelry if it sticks is fake, if I doesn't it's real and the jewelry with the holes in back, is also real! I would take it to a jeweler and see what they say about it, and if all else's fails then Google it. Lol that's my go to!✌️👍 Love your videos !!
Suggestion ... get some ziplock tubs to hold the different categories as you sort (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, watches, misc ...) then show how much of each category was in the jar . Would also make it easier to find matching earrings later...
These are awesome chicka! I’d love to find things like this. Lol remember some are very much antique and could be worth even more than you know. Pat closer attention to the very detailed items..silver 925 with designer names. 😉💯
Also looks like u get slot of labradorite Moonstone pearls you should go on jewelry tv.com and look up the stones because there's all different kinds and you could get a whole lesson on all the different Stones by looking them up you may have key items that you're not aware of
I am new here...I love watching your videos coz I love jewelries, there is so much art there...you are never boring to watch especially your mumbling...I do that often...most of the time my friends find it entertaining...they said they find hidden wisdom on it, I guess it is the same with you if people are intently listening. Thanks for saving us on sleepless nights and boring days, it's fun watching you, you're FUN. I am Bless from the Philippines.
Most of the second hand store employees will pocket the valuables and put a huge price tag on the trash.....the goodwill...salvation army and st pauls have become a haven for dishonest people......your fortunate you can purchase those jewelery jars.....i would be so excited to sort through stuff like that...🍇🍇🍇🍇
Let people be negative you never know some of that stuff can be more valuable than any thing you can ever buy new. Plus some of that stuff looks like some art deco from back from back in the day which could possibly be worth a lot of money so don't just sale them research and you may find a gold mind YAH blessing and good luck
+Makeup_Zombie I been putting wish app jewelry on there my latest one was the fake gold Pandora .I be doing more when my new jewelry come so keep watching thank u for always watching my videos
I didn't even know Goodwill did jewelry jars is it just in certain states or do you have to ask to look at them or is it something they just started doing I think it's cool and I enjoy watching them thank you
I am the ring girl I dont buy the bags at salvation army, here they are not very good but the jewlery in display is nice. I find most of my silver rings 😊
Makeup_Zombie ya I gave up buying the bags here....all junk lol. no rings ever in their showcase. my goodwill doesn't do the jars either. I need to move lol
I am the ring girl here most of the big goodwills have them, they are expensive but they are hit and miss. I love jewlery so they are worth it for me 😊😋 Long time ago you could find gold or silver now is rare to come by.
I never buy used earings even after I thought I cleaned them well I got a nasty infection and it was traced right back to the used earings. no way I buy any used earings again.
Just so you know the bags would Not be more “eco” friendly they might be more convenient for you to just throw away when you’re done but that’s the opposite definition of eco friendly. Try using the glass vase that’s worth almost as much as you paid for the whole thing for something else like your make up brushes or hair combs.
hi.loved th video & ur rings.do they hav alot of jars.i want to buy some.happy that ur feeling better.i hav alot of jewlery to trade or sell.my other friend had 1 of her friends send her a bag of jewlery an she made a video of it.im a vintage jewlery collector.love u 2 til next time stay safe😀💝🌹
They do have a lot of jars in the summer now they are far and wide but I do travel far to like 6 different goodwill and I know were to get good stuff, We can do a swap video if you like I think it will be fun :)
Just occurred to me, I had a piece of glass I tested diamonds on if I thought I had one. Broken with taped edges did fine for me or old clean jars. Also if a bracelet has a safety chain or other type of safety device it is most likely real. The purple one with the safety chain may be amethysts and silver
I worked for Goodwill for a short period and one thing you learn right off the bat at training is that everything that's donated - especially jewelry - is examined very closely. They train you at the distribution center and when they find something of value, they keep it and lock it away for online sales or whatever. In other words, you won't find a treasure at Goodwill in jewelry.
I guess is the luck of each person I have found at goodwill higher gold not so much in jars but the jewelry that is place outside for sale. also few good pieces in jars is always fun to see what you will find :)
Victoria Broatch I worked at Goodwill for 4 years and I can tell you that you can absolutely still find treasure. It all depends on the person sorting the jewelry and their abilities. Most of the people filling this role aren't necessarily the most qualified. At least in my experience. I have found great treasures in these jars.
you are right, you still finds , a lot of good treasures at goodwill, i myself found a lot of gold and silver !! Been doing it for 15 years, and having fun with it !! thanks for sharing Miss Makeup- Zombie !!!
I love those silver Round Earrings with scroll work inside you pulled out one in the beginning then when you pulled more out second one to make the pair... would you be willing to sell?
Do you ever sell any of your stuff? Would love to fix and buy the “antique “ bracelet... the one broken on your second pull leaves and purple/garnet stones and the octopus
I started a showcase on Sunday's and I do sell some of the stuff I find in the jars and some other stuff we do it at 1:30 pm pacific time Thank you :) xoxo
I like watching this kind of stuff and I collect jewelry myself. Do you ever sell this kind of stuff? The pieces you’re not interested in or just to earn a little money on eBay or something? In several of your videos I’ve seen pieces I would actually purchase myself if I saw them on eBay or they were for sale online somewhere. I noticed the little breast cancer tag. My mother is currently going through radiation treatment for breast cancer. Also, my sister’s name is Sally!
I love these jars, I make jewelry and this would be a gold mine for me!
Oh my gosh, buy one for me and send it to Australia! This looks like so much fun!
@Taylor haha no way, I'd pay for it!
@@zoejuster5906 check on ebay, maybe someone is selling it.
I love the sound of the jewelry hitting the jar and counter! It’s so soothing!
The cool thing about this is all these items have a story. Makes you wonder about the life and story of the women who wore the pieces.
that is very true :)
Oo my favorite thing to do. Love searching for jewelry in lots of places.

You can use a magnet to determine if an item is gold or silver. Often as well though costume pieces...like vintage Avon for example can be worth quite a bit as well. Fun video! I wish our Goodwill did this.
I use magnets but don't trust them that much a lot of things are so well made that they don't stick to a magnet :) Thank you!
