Gunstar Super Heroes is the sequel to Gunstar Heroes ( tasvideos.org/... ) for the Genesis. Compared to Gunstar Heroes, in this game, you can go much faster. You can also yell and shout more than should be possible in a game!
Warning: Those who experience motion sickness easily might not want to watch the autoshooter segments too closely. You have been warned.

5:03 Am I the only one here who thinks this transition looks incredibly sick for a GBA game?
This looks crazy for a GBA game.
Legit, this looks SICK!
It's awesome, I played it to death growing up. One of the most creative run-&-gun titles ever.
Just a little bit short, but the amount of graphic effects and tricks used make this game look outstanding
"say who-ha ha-ha who say-ha ha who ha ha ha who - ha say who ha" I heard that the whole speedrun
Jeez! This is like "Metal Slug" and "Contra: Shattered Soldier" mixed together and on steroids
Makes sense it was made by treasure which are people that used to work for Konami in the super Nintendo days so they did actually work on Contra As well as Castlevania. And why the levels look so amazing is it was developed under Sega working with people who made the sonic levels and backgrounds this is a masterpiece to play and it is such a good way to split up levels. You get a minigame usually that sets you up infiltrating the enemy base like you saw with the Helicopter then it drops you into a megaman platformer but you can move like strider it is a really good game if you figure out all the kinda bizarre button layout stuff.
4:20 Doing this part flawlessly is the most commendable play of this game in my opinion, since the hitbox of that thing is so ambiguous, every time you get hit by the barrage of shit flying around it knocks you back, and there's no i-frames. This segment alone was what stopped me from clearing the game on Hard difficulty for the longest time
This is the most underrated game I've ever played!
you want a fun ass run and gun shooter? play this!
Treasure was too good for us
I'm getting some sick Castlevania TAS vibes from this...
3:50 I am like 1 of 10 people outside Japan who watched this show, but these guys are a reference to the trio in Nadia: Secret of Blue Water, which originally aired on TV while the first game was being developed.
I remember, how you could trick Green in second battle to just rush forward-backward, making battle so easy. And possible, health save on hardmode
The constant mayhem in this video makes it feel like one of TerminalMontage's animations
TOO-TO-T-T-TOOOO HAH
This game is nuts.
rip treasure
Not dead they just port Ikaruga to everything instead of making new games
3:51 Pinky Roader said "Ho ho ho" in the dialogue which means she's best friends with Santa Claus. :P
Nice slides, bro
I've never seen such a thorough destruction of 7 Force.
Wow, why did this gem fly under everyone's radar?
Because the world was obsessed by early crappy 3D titles.
It's the Treasure Curse.
To make games that only get recognized for how great they are decades later
Damn this game is such a rehash of the first one. Same director of Thunder Force 6 which was a rehash of previous games.
I think it was meant to be more of a reboot as opposed to a full blown sequel, which would explain why it’s so similar overall
This game was really awesome but it's somewhat a missed opportunity for a better sequel. It's basically a retelling of the original. I think the style and graphics are perfect but I would have liked more unique stages. Also even on the hardest difficulty the game is really really easy.
