Your story sounds exactly like mine. I'm still questioning, but I also present masculine (except my hair, still looking for a good short haircut for me) and nearly all my friends are guys, and I love football. There were hard times and jokes about me, but at the moment it's okay.

Middle school: I'm so bi
First hear of high school: I'm very gay.
The rest of high school: I'm pan ace! (dated the same cishet ace guy for three years)
Now, second year of college: lesbian flags in my dorm, a bi flag with a big question mark on it in my brain, and rainbow flags on as many things as I can own and still hide from my mother.
Still not sure if I was ever really in love with that guy or if I was in love with the validation and sensuality. I thought I was attracted to him, but was I just horny? Was I glued to him physically and digitally because I needed a comforting figure? I keep getting what I think are crushes on guys, but are they compulsory, am I just obsessed with the fact that I'm desirable, am i just turned on by a few specific characteristics separate from who they are as a person and not actually attracted to them, do i just get excited that i might find somebody i can be sensual with? Why do I keep having little friends to lovers fantasies about my female friends? Why do some things about guys still turn me on? Dude, I don't know what's going on.

when I was 7 or 8 I remember that one day after school me and my girl best friend ( i'm a girl) went to her house and since no one was there and we were at a stupid age we were wondering how it feels to kiss or make out so we kinda did it and in the middle of this whole thing were we were making out her mother came in she just looked at us and got out of the room saing nothing 😂 idk why I'm writing this but yea.....

I have the same issue. I think that I'm gay but male validation is so important to me. I'm with this one guy and have been with him for a year and a half. I love him romantically but, i just dont feel the spark anymore. I love that he loves me but i have a major interest in women. Im scared to tell him this because this is my longest relationship so far and I'm terrified that no one will treat me as well as he did. He's my best friend but i domt feel like he should be my boyfriend..
Elementary: had a few boyfriends but felt nothing, js didn't want to ruin friendships, so played along with it. Crushed on a girl for 1 year
Middle: continued to crush on the same girl, 7th I confessed and she was straight and told our whole school. So I'm single now, but I like this other straight girl that I think I'm losing feelings for. Oh and I'm masc too. I want to cut my hair short and my parents won't let me😊. Have a good day

Maybe you could say "oh I saw it online and think it looks cool" or try to find actor/someone famous with the haircut you want and say "I thought they looked cool with it and wanted it" those are my ideas for you (ps sorry if it's bad advice)
