One of the things I love about your mic reviews is that you give us a sample of the audio quality, and it's not a short sample... it makes it so much easier to shop! (I did notice your regular mic is only on the left channel for this video, but it didn't stop this video from being extremely informative.)
mine seems to have a noticeable amount of self noise, and nothing I do seemed to be able to clean it up without post processing it. I wanted to use this live, but as is I'm considering returning it. I'm pretty disappointed so far, but not sure if I just got a bad copy or they're all like this.
@Ramy Reviews an update to this is that I've bought samsons sound deck. It's the only thing that's helped reduce the noise properly. And it has to be the paid version, the basic version for free does not work. Luckily it's only 5 bucks. But I'd say it's a must. The mic is still quiet however, but a lil boost via voice meter and cranking it on sound deck will mostly get a decent volume.
Hi, is there any way to adjust the monitoring level through the headphones from the mic? I know that you can do it through windows with a blue yeti and I was wondering if it was the same with this
Is there a way we can connect this mic to a smartphone. I would like it to is for karoake Smule Sing app. I already have 48v Phantom Power. Is this sufficient or audio interface is mandatory???
but when i plug earphone jack on mic samson and start recording, i just feel music sound is not good, like jack earphone is not suitable with the mic. can you gime me the solusion?

Being USB this would plug directly into the computer and interface with the sound system internally. I've never heard of an external audio interface accepting USB (but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist somewhere). The purpose of an audio interface, in terms of inputs and outputs, is to allow computer-independent (i.e. non-USB) audio instruments to interact with the computer. Therefore, a USB mic like this bypasses the need for an audio interface. So that's a No to both questions. Hope that helps.

I liked the Samson sound better than the sound from the rest of the video. lol As others have pointed out, the left side is quite dominant... :/

I haven’t tried connecting it to a phone. You don’t need an audio interface or 48v phantom power to use it. You might need a otg usb adapter.

My screw-on mic adapter 0:32 has a silver thing in it so I am unable to attach it to the stand, how do i remove it?
You will have to unscrew and remove the silver insert using a screwdriver. Then the adapter will fit on a mic stand
