Honestly Hiro's dumbness is so out there that it's not that strange to think it must be an act. Of course the truth is that he really is that dumb. (to the point where I'm pretty sure it's how he made it to the end. The guy's literally too dumb to die, because he makes too perfect a patsy/narrative distraction for other cases. (I mean the guy ended up at least a minor possible suspect in three of the five cases. (his crystal ball could have implicated him in case 1, he was the primary set-up in case 3, and he was the first fake-out suspect in case 4)
Just you wait until the next instalment where it reveals Hiro was the *true* mastermind behind all the other masterminds!

Fun fact: in the early development of the original game, they had actually planned to have Hagakure be the mastermind, but later in development changed it to Junko.

Dude, SungWon's mom is really sharp. She's nailing this. Even with no reference whatsoever for Danganronpa, she is making good guesses about both the characters talents and their personalities. I'm impressed.
Edit: i just want to add that SungWon having to artfully dodge around explicitly describing what doujinshi is is amazing.

To be honest, it's pretty easy to guess most of them. I mean, their drawings are supposed to tell you what their ultimate talent is.

Honestly, there’s something kind of warm and nostalgic when people describe the eyes of the characters. Even when I wasn’t apart of the franchise, those hypnotizing eyes assured me that those characters were from Daganronpa.

Impressive--even if only 1 out of 4 picks killed someone as part of the killing game, 3 out of 4 have technically killed at some point. And Byakuya certainly *could* have gone down that path.
I was curious if he was gonna mention anything to her about Chihiro, but I suppose it is pretty complicated to explain.
Here's the easiest way to explain it. Chihiro is a boy, but growing up they were often mistaken for a girl and bullied for how they looked so they decided it was easier to just pretend to be a girl. Chihiro wants to get stronger so they can show who they really are.

@@rob98000 Not in their playthrough, no. They used she/her before the reveal and they/them after, explaining it was just to be safe. I'm not saying anything for one side or another here, just that there is a debate about Chihiro's gender that gets pretty heated and would take a long time to cover.
It is also a bit of a spoiler for the story.

aw, I wish you guys were in-person for this, the delay makes things feel a bit more disjointed.
The issue is the official artwork isn't always what they're wearing in the game, it can make things a bit confusing. Some of them are fitting and some of them I feel like they just drew something they wanted to draw.
