I think it's fine if the art is just there to go with the song and nothing more, but when it comes to producing original content, A.I. art has garnered a bad rep and understandably so.
I kinda liked the old thumbnail, though. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted....
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with AI art using actual art references, without giving any proper credit. Could be totally wrong on that though.
Funny how the Mega man x sound font is used here as that series is also based around a blue protagonist who fights a mad doctor that makes evil robots.

this kinda reminds me of a terrible nostalgia critic joke, where he insinuated that tails was sonic's pet dog, roll was megaman's girlfriend, (and apparently, there is SOME level of canonical robo-incest, possibly one sided on roll’s end… ew) that sonic and amy are a couple (HAHAHA- NO), and that nobody likes battle network.

It's awesome that you went back to fix some things, but I've wondered since the original why this (and several other of your SNES covers) are off-key.
In those days we didn't seem to process the higher, harsher notes much to soften them as we do now and didn't have the experience with the tools we had. We just shifted the notes down or up an octave. Sometimes they can sound odd because of the slight tuning the SNES instruments have. Nowadays its unlikely to happen as the software and experience has improved.

Have you ever considered utilizing the Super Metroid or Final Fantasy VI (III in America) soundfont? The main instruments are rather diminished in potency in comparison to what they should be.
I agree there are a lot more samples available with more accuracy. Metroid is one of the best.
