I agree, AoStH Robotnik was one of his most entertaining iterations imo, back when i was a kid i started watching the cartoon because it was "The Sonic cartoon" nowdays i rewatch the episodes mostly to see Robotnik, at this point i consider him the true main character of the cartoon lol
Movie Eggman had the most intelligence. Game Eggman had the legions and legions of troops. Aosth Eggman had the most incredible inventions (such as a pocket pistol roboticiser). Together... They'll get that hedgehog!
I can imagine this playing in Mean Bean Machine when Robotnik discusses how to stop the player from getting in the way of his plans with Scratch and Grounder.
@@angelbeas9137 the real version of Robotnik’s theme from AoStH didn’t have the harpsichord/string intro and it didn’t have those as backing instruments in the first section of the song. Instead there was a pizzicato section walking slowly up the scale and a bassoon playing a strange rhythm. Also the ending 3 notes were not “high-low-high” but were “low-mid-high”. Also there were no grace notes, they all start and stop at their destination.

every time i hear this theme, it reminds me of some fangame. Sonic classic i think. It has something like this as a boss theme. Also remember that game being very buggy sometimes
I stumbled on this mix and its really cool, but I realize, the tune is also exactly like two songs from Final Fantasy 6, (3 on SNES). City of Zozo, (Slam Shuffle) and Gogo's theme. Just looked up release dates and Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog came out October 93 with FF6 (Japan) April 94. I wouldn't think that Nobuo Uematsu heard it and wrote it in Final Fantasy copying Sonic....odd coincidence I guess......and maybe more musical mashups mixes to be made.......
