I bought a Luna Heinnie Haynes Edition based on your reviews. It's just arrived and I'm really impressed, so thanks! Now I just need to work out where I can buy a Real Steel thumb stud for it since everywhere is out of stock!
Good choice! My HH Luna still gets regularly used and it's usually the one I grab to open boxes, etc. The official Real Steel studs can be difficult to find now. The Real Steel Shop is usually the best place to try. They come in and out of stock regularly. They get funny about people buying just the stud so you make have to make an enquiry. You could always buy one of the cheaper knives there and add the stud if required. Anyway, thanks for your comment and enjoy your new blade :)
I have the Luna in olive wood and I think it's great! I use it almost every day! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and review with us! Cheers, Jerbs 👍🏼🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦
I had used the thumb studs for a while but then decided to take them of again. It’s like you assumed, the thumb studs make it difficult to get the knife in and out of the pocket. For me the easy access to the knife was more important than the one-handed opening feature.
Take a look at the byrd tern . Its an excellent uk edc knife with one hand opening and nice and light too. I'm so impressed with mine I bought a second one .
I'm not such a big fan of the Luna as a lot of people seem to be. It's small, even for a UK legal carry knife, there is no finger choil or other design feature to prevent accidental closure, and the pocket clip is right-hand, tip-up only which makes it unfriendly to left-handers. Also, removing the pocket clip requires a full disassembly of the knife, which really is a pain. For UK legal carry, I prefer the Boker XS or the Byrd Tern.

Yes, the tern is on my radar too. It's on my list!
What’s the little red knife with the W on it?
It's a Whitby Sprint. Nice little EDC. Search Amazon
wow great stuff. i don't use pocket clips at all, you are not alone
Within a week of having my d2 luna i dropped it on a wood floor and snapped about 2-3mm off the tip.
Apart from that i still like it
Amazing knife - unreservedly love mine.
Agreed. In a few minutes I'll be uploading a video where I mod my red Luna. Check it out!
I CARRY THE T101 THOR FOR A EDC . I LOVE THE THING.IT'S
I have a black one with brass accents and I love it. I’ve always liked D2 Steal. Easy to sharpen and holds agreat edge.
Go with what works for you best :)

A real steel knife is always better than a fake plastic knife.
