Have you had any warranty issues with Salice? Having issues with some previously installed runners that are now not self-closing consistently.

We have not! We have been using Salice this year consistenlly and everything is working great. Thank you!

I have experienced failures with Salice's soft-close mechanism on sides that appear exactly like the ones shown in this video (Futura model). The thin/cheap plastic breaks at the point where the spring mounts near the end of the dark plastic cylinder, thus causing the spring to fall out, to the side, and disabling the soft-close action. My Karman kitchen cabinets are about 8 years old, contains 17 drawers (thus 34 drawer slides), and 2 slides in total have broken (on separate drawers--so it's not a problem with one particular drawer). I will be contacting my cabinet provider or/and Salice soon. My assessment is the failure is due to excessively thin plastic at the spring/cylinder mounting point, or a manufacturing defect that is exacerbated by excessively thin plastic.
Hey Quick Cabinets, can you comment on which drawer slide design seems more robust or reliable?

Blum is made in Austria not Germany. I use Blum on all my jobs but they are sold out everywhere with 8 wk lead time so I had to use the salice this job, hoping they are at least close in quality. The locking devices definitely are not at first glance. They are cheap plastic pieces
